“Kill!”
This army of soldiers charged out like a fierce, raging dragon, quickly sweeping across the entire battlefield. The current battlefield was filled with exhausted soldiers who had been attacking the city.
Meanwhile, this army had just entered the fray.
Extremely ferocious and brave!
“Damn it, all South Land soldiers form up, don’t panic!” Rawdan Jefferson roared from the frontlines.
But then a huge sword slashed down at him. Rawdan Jefferson twisted his body to dodge the blade, but a lock of hair was sliced off his head. Before he could steady himself, the sword slashed down again.
He could only grab a nearby discarded weapon to block it.
Clang!
The ground under Rawdan Jefferson’s feet sank down and the hand holding his hammer trembled.
“Who are you? How can a mere South Province have someone with your might?” Rawdan Jefferson looked at the man before him, unable to believe it.
Someone was actually forcing him back.
Even injured as he was now, not just anyone could deal with him, yet this man could.
“Listen up. I’m Lynix, one of the four Great Legion Commanders of the Eastern Territories. Weren’t you enjoying yourself beating us just now? I’ll let you enjoy more!” Lynix kicked out.
Rawdan Jefferson’s entire body flew back. In midair he violently spat out a mouthful of blood, but the huge sword came at him again. Lynix moved swiftly, slashing out another strike. This time Rawdan Jefferson could not block in time and a bloody gash was sliced into his chest.
Then with a bang, he slowly dropped to the ground.
“Can still move? Good, I’ll make sure you can’t move now,” Lynix said, this time striking at Rawdan Jefferson’s neck. But at that moment, a silver flash shot past and Lynix had to retreat a step to dodge the arrow shaft, then looked towards a figure in the distance.
“Caleb Laydon, I, Lynix, will kill you!”
Murderous aura erupted from Lynix.
“Rawdan Jefferson, go. This is a trap, go back and protect General Myers,” Caleb Laydon said, holding his longbow.
“Yes,” Rawdan Jefferson replied. With no fighting strength left and still injured, he immediately fled.
“You let him go, now you die,” Lynix said, holding his huge sword.
He was born a hoodlum and had a strong sense of brotherhood. Seeing the soldiers on the city wall sacrifice themselves one by one, his heart bled, but orders were orders and he could not come out before.
Now that he was out, he would kill, kill these invaders of Kisia.
Kill!
Kill!
Kill them all!
Especially this Caleb Laydon who had shot so many cold arrows, killing so many of their brothers. This time he absolutely could not let the man get away.
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
Whoosh!
Caleb Laydon fired arrow after arrow, but they were all dodged by Lynix. Finally Lynix closed in and Caleb Laydon drew a dagger to face him, but could not win.
“Damn it!”
Caleb Laydon fled back!
As a master archer, he should not die here.
“Kill them!” Lynix roared. The hundreds of thousands of soldiers from the Lynix Legion charged out, and as Caleb Laydon retreated, it was like the collapse of a mountain on the frontlines as the soldiers fled in defeat.
On this scorched battlefield, Lee Berger lay looking at the corpses of his brothers around him, yet he smiled, smiling happily. “It’s not that you won, but that we won.”
“We won, brothers. You can rest now,” his hoarse, sobbing voice echoed across the battlefield.
South Land main camp.
“Report. Suddenly ten thousand soldiers charged out from within Mountland, all elite warriors, rushing to slaughter us. Our frontline soldiers are exhausted and can’t hold them back. The situation is very bad.”
A scout reported the shocking news.
Ten thousand soldiers hidden within Mountland?
Impossible.
Where did ten thousand soldiers come from?
“It must be that mysterious unit!” someone suddenly exclaimed through gritted teeth. They finally understood – no wonder they could never find that mysterious unit. So they had been inside Mountland this whole time.
“Their target isn’t the southern border, but us?” someone gasped.
“This Kisia Primus is too bold, isn’t he? We have an army of 600, 000. Even with 200, 000 left at the southern border and south, that’s still 400, 000 troops. And he dares come kill us?” an officer said, eyes wide.
“There’s not that many left. In this battle, we lost nearly 100, 000 attacking the city. Most of the rest are exhausted. So we only have 300, 000 left. And 100, 000 cavalry were taken by the border general to form the Destruction Cavalry, so we only have 200, 000 now,” an advisor analyzed.
“General Myers, the Destruction Cavalry must be called back to protect you. If anything happens to General Myers, then South Land is finished,” someone said urgently.
“Request General Myers recall the Destruction Cavalry.”
“Request General Myers recall the Destruction Cavalry.”
The officers made their requests. Their general often went to the frontlines himself, so they had to request the cavalry be recalled to protect him.
“Very well,” Walton Myers agreed.
The situation left him no choice.
“General Myers, retreat west. The Harding family cities are west. Defend a city to expand our gains,” an advisor suggested.
But just as he finished speaking, a soldier reported again: “Cavalry forces of at least 50, 000 have appeared west, attacking us.”
There were people in the north too!
Everyone was shocked. But before they could react, another soldier reported: “Cavalry forces of at least 50, 000 in the east, attacking us.”
What!
Everyone froze. There were also forces from the south. One general said in disbelief, “How is this possible? The Ghost Wolf Iron Cavalry were nearly wiped out, where did these cavalry come from?”
“Iron Eagles,” Walton Myers called out.
An Iron Eagles commander came to report: “General, our men just discovered, the forces in the west are the Northland Iron Cavalry from the Northern Territory led by Max Berry. The eastern forces are the Ghost Wolf Iron Cavalry led by Jeff Reczek. As for Kisia Primus, we haven’t found him yet. Also, the mysterious unit we located earlier appears to be the same one.”
“Max Berry’s Northland Iron Cavalry!”
Everyone was shocked. “Max Berry is a general of the Northlands. Kisia Primus is insane to send him south! Does he not care about the north anymore? That’s no small country to provoke.”
“Whether they can be provoked or not is another matter. The key now is that Kisia Primus has summoned two armies. Damn it, they must have come through Stillwater. Three forces, ten years of accumulated might, all crushed because of Stillwater,” someone said resentfully.
“If not for Stillwater, with the Harding family blocking the north, we could have slowly consumed South Province before destroying Kisia. How difficult things are now!”
The generals’ expressions were ugly.
They still did not understand why Kisia Primus had gone to Stillwater instead of staying in the Eastern Territories!
Otherwise, how could things have come to this?
