“Good boy, come down.”
Rawdan Jefferson, holding his hammers, stepped towards the city wall, and the whole ground was shaking. “If I have to come down, then I’ll come down.”
Harry Smith stomped on the city wall, leapt into the air, and aimed his spear, charged with energy, straight at Rawdan Jefferson. In the sky, it seemed like hundreds of birds were chirping, with a phoenix spiraling among them. Harry Smith, descending from above, speared towards Rawdan Jefferson. The speed was extremely fast, a cold light flashed past.
But with a bang, Rawdan Jefferson hammered at the cold light. Harry Smith’s face changed dramatically, as if he had encountered an unimaginable force. His whole body was falling backward, and his internal organs were shaking.
The next second, Rawdan Jefferson’s seemingly bulky body appeared in front of him. “Boy, you have great talent, but you’re too young, and you have no future.”
Rawdan Jefferson’s hammer fell heavily. Harry Smith’s face changed dramatically, his body ached all over. He wanted to resist, but he couldn’t even hold his spear. His whole body was suppressed, and he had no strength to resist.
“Could it be, I’m going to die here?”
His eyes were somewhat lost.
However, the next second, a rough voice sounded next to him: “Kid, don’t try to play hero. We adults are still alive and kicking. Let the adults handle adult business.”
Boom.
There was a loud noise.
Then, everyone saw the massive figure of Rawdan Jefferson being sent flying. Harry Smith was being supported by another person.
“Kid, don’t meddle in adults’ affairs. Go back to the city wall.”
Jeff Reczek gave a shove.
Harry Smith landed back on the city wall. He had previously been merely suppressed by Rawdan Jefferson’s aura and was unable to move, but he still had the strength to stand.
“Officer Reczek.”
Once he had steadied himself, Harry Smith looked down at the man below – it was Jeff Reczek. He knew that Jeff Reczek’s words had been meant to protect him.
After sending Harry Smith up, Jeff Reczek looked at Rawdan Jefferson, his face full of disdain: “Rawdan Jefferson, are you not ashamed to attack a child?”
“…”
Rawdan Jefferson, a coarse fellow, was somewhat flushed. Indeed, strictly speaking, Harry Smith was only a seventeen-year-old boy, while he was already a man in his thirties. It was indeed wrong to bully a child.
He had indeed attacked Harry Smith because he found him too arrogant. But it did degrade his own dignity.
However, his face was rather dark, so when he blushed, others couldn’t tell. Rawdan Jefferson simply furrowed his brows and said, “Fine, I won’t deal with him. I’ll deal with you. I heard that you’re quite famous in the Kisia army. Let’s see what you’ve got.”
He weighed his hammers in his hands, and the ground immediately cracked open in a circle around him.
The people around were forced to step back. They could see how formidable this man was.
“Alright then.”
Jeff Reczek cracked a grin. At this moment, it seemed as if the beast bound within his heart had awakened, a violent aura slowly rising from his body. The soldiers on the battlefield looked at Jeff Reczek, fear flashing in their eyes.
This… didn’t seem like a man. Rather, it seemed like a beast.
“Officer, your weapon.”
On the city wall, two or three soldiers carried over an object resembling a cylinder, covered in cloth. Then, with all their strength, they threw it down.
Like a meteor, it fell with an astonishing momentum.
But Jeff Reczek turned around, quickly reached out a hand, and caught it with a thud. With another thud, he shook open the cover to reveal a rod.
No. It should be said it was a pillar, a pillar that an adult could barely hug around, but was now being held in Jeff Reczek’s palms.
“Good stuff, such a large pillar, its weight is comparable to my hammer. Seems like we’re in for a good fight today.” Rawdan Jefferson laughed heartily, the black tattoos on his face looking somewhat fierce.
“Jeff Reczek, I’ve heard a lot about you. Now, let me learn something from you.”
He spoke of learning, but there was no hint of humility in his words, but rather filled with a killing intent. He wanted to kill this Jeff Reccek.
With a thud.
Rawdan Jefferson’s feet stomped the ground, his large body, surprisingly quick, shot out like a bullet. His hammers swung down with a fierce momentum, causing the air to explode with the sound of the impact.
Thud.
Jeff Reccek held the pillar with both hands, blocking the hammer.
“Good, you blocked it. Let’s go again.”
Rawdan Jefferson laughed, then spun around and brought the hammer down again. The clang rang in everyone’s ears, causing even the soldiers who had already retreated to vomit blood, their faces filled with horror as they backed away again.
One could only imagine how astonishing this battle was.
The aftermath of the fight alone was unbearable for them.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
Rawdan Jefferson’s attacks were getting fiercer and fiercer.
“Jeff Reczek, aren’t you the so-called Kisia madman? Why don’t you do something? Kisia is ours. Today, I’m going to beat you to death and establish the prestige of South Land.”
Rawdan Jefferson roared again and again, his hammer becoming increasingly forceful. With each strike, the ground sank a bit, as if unable to bear their power.
“Die!”
Finally, Rawdan Jefferson leaped upward, using his own weight to bring down a fierce hammer blow. This strike was as powerful as a falling meteorite.
However, this time, Jeff Reczek still blocked it. He stuck out his head, grinned, his face full of fighting spirit. His eyes were filled with excitement and a hint of savagery as he said: “Is that all? Now it’s my turn to perform.”
Then, he held the pillar and swept forward.
With a boom, Jeff Reczek did not retreat.
But Rawdan Jefferson, due to the upward force, was forced to step back. His face looked somewhat unpleasant: “Your power is quite significant, able to blast my hammer away.”
“This is just the beginning.”
Jeff Reczek moved.
He was never one to passively take a beating.
Suddenly holding the pillar, he dragged it on the ground. Sparks flew, creating a trail of fire, then he swept again.
Boom!
The power was infinite.
Rawdan Jefferson held his hammers to block this strike, but even the defense forced his expression to change. He gritted his teeth to prevent himself from stepping back, but soon after, Jeff Reczek moved again.
With a thunderous sound, he swung at Rawdan Jefferson.
“Damn it.”
This time, Rawdan Jefferson could not hold on and stepped back. His face was serious, knowing he was at his limit.
But, Jeff Reczek grinned: “There’s more.”
He thrust the pillar forward.
Like a speeding truck, it slammed into the hammers in Rawdan Jefferson’s hands, sending him flying back, coughing up blood before he could steady himself.
It was well known that Jeff Reczek practiced military martial arts.
But in hundreds of years, only this war madman had reached the pinnacle.
Rawdan Jefferson had heard about it, but he hadn’t expected it to be so fierce.
