Chapter 373: Here we go again

At this moment, Hanh was still basking in her relief.
Thankfully, thankfully the War God had not killed her.
So what if she had to go to the countryside for three years? She could endure that. But she herself could not have imagined that after three years, she would end up spending her entire life in the countryside.
Hanh was completely unaware of all these eventualities. And it may not even happen. After all, if they lost this war, there would be no future to speak of.
“Thank you, War God.”
Both Marie Linton and Hanh were thanking the War God, a hint of relief in their hearts.
After all, if someone had insulted them like this, they might not have ended well given their temper. But after this incident, they would never dare again. Their temperaments had been effectively tamed.
As for Marie Linton’s laundry duties, it was a simple matter. She didn’t mind it at all. But she didn’t know that in the future, her hands would develop callouses from washing clothes.
“I know you only have one daughter, but that doesn’t mean you should spoil her. There are some things you should teach her about right and wrong,” Robin said, looking at Cain Linton.
He also doted on Leslie, but that didn’t mean he should spoil her without limit. As a father, he had to let Leslie know what was right, what was wrong, what should be done, and what shouldn’t be done.
“Yes.”
Cain Linton’s face turned red. It was only now that he realized he had not disciplined his daughter well.
Finally, having dealt with these people, Robin turned his attention to Long, who was still bowed with his head low, shivering, praying in his heart that Robin wouldn’t see him.
“Long.”
Robin gently uttered this word.
Immediately, Long was trembling all over: “Yes.”
“You have quite a reputation.”
Robin leaned against the wall.
He actually claimed to be a favorite under the War God’s command.
He didn’t know that.
“I request the War God’s punishment.”
Long immediately knelt down, not pleading, his face full of panic, directly requesting punishment.
“Forget it, I don’t feel like punishing you. Go find Evelyn Hall, tell her everything you’ve done during this time, let her decide your punishment. Remember, everything, if you miss out on one thing, then…”
Robin didn’t finish his sentence.
Those who understood, understood. Those who didn’t could feel the murderous intent.
“Yes, yes, yes.”
Long’s face was pale as he nodded repeatedly.
“Get out.”
At last, having received Robin’s command, he and his brothers really did roll out. They were too scared, they never thought that pretending to be part of the War God’s command would actually anger the War God himself.
Then, Robin leaned against the wall, watching Hanh wash the clothes.
Cain Linton was kneeling on the ground, not daring to stand up or speak, just kneeling there.
Marie Linton and Hanh were seriously washing the clothes.
They washed for a full half-hour, scrubbing every place clean, before looking up at Robin. Robin wanted to facepalm, in the end, he turned his head away and sighed.
“The next step is to air dry.”
Finally, it took Marie Linton and Hanh quite some time to figure out how to air dry the clothes.
Only after the clothes were air dried did they hand them over to Robin.
“Sigh.”
Robin sighed again, before he left.
Whoever would marry Miss Hanh now, would probably have an easy life.
After leaving, he had just reached the bus stop in front of the manor when a group of men dressed in black, with some tattoos, surrounded him. The one leading them was a long-haired man, his hair combed back, smoking a cigarette, looking somewhat rogue.
“Well, well, I’ve found you here. I was just about to look for you.” Among the men in black, a tall woman with a somewhat sinister look in her eyes, Marry, stood with her arms folded, looking at him with a teasing smile. “Well, isn’t this a case of not having to look far. You dared to scare me with a knife, thinking I’m easy to intimidate, kiddo. Let me tell you, this is my boyfriend, Jackson.”
“Huh.”
Jackson exhaled a puff of smoke, trying to look impressive.
“You probably don’t know my boyfriend’s big name. Let me tell you, my boyfriend used to be the second-in-command of the Tiger Gang, and now he’s the president of the newly established Dragon Gang. Do you know the Dragon Gang? This territory is under our Dragon Gang’s protection.”
Marry tried to intimidate Robin with the Dragon Gang’s name. Only, Robin didn’t react. He showed no fear. He even muttered under his breath: “Here we go again.”
“Kid, with that calm look on your face, who are you trying to fool? With so many of us, a punch from each of us could seriously injure you. But I won’t do that now. I want to call my good sister to watch.”
Marry immediately dialed a number. It was Hanh’s.
“Hanh, come quickly, I’m at the bus station near your manor. I have a surprise for you, a big surprise. Come quickly.”
Marry urged Hanh to come over.
“What’s the matter?”
Hanh, who was still sprawled on the ground, hadn’t regained her senses. She was still dazed. She had just escaped death.
“You don’t need to know, I’ll tell you when you get here. It’s definitely a big surprise.” Marry’s tone was excited, sounding thrilled.
“Alright.”
Hanh rubbed her head. She actually didn’t want to go. She was feeling down, but since Marry mentioned a surprise, she decided to check it out. She still hadn’t snapped out of it, and maybe seeing what the surprise was would lift her spirits.
“Hmph.”
Marry ended the call and looked at Robin saying, “You can still beg for mercy now, otherwise when my good sister comes and watches you get beaten up, it would be quite a loss of face for you.”
“You’ve informed Hanh?”
Robin looked at her strangely.
“Yes. She’s my good sister and also someone you’ve bullied. You dared to threaten us with a knife, you’re quite brave.” Marry threatened.
“You kid, you dared to touch the woman of our Dragon Gang’s president, have you had enough?”
One of the underlings said from below.
Jackson exhaled another puff of smoke, trying to act cool.
“Dragon Gang, are they famous?” Robin said casually.
“You don’t even know our Dragon Gang?”
The people below were furious. This was clearly a provocation to the Dragon Gang.
Even Jackson, who was smoking, had a flash of cold light in his eyes.
“Don’t rush, wait for my sister to come, then we’ll go.”
They were ready to go, but were stopped by Marry. Hanh was not only her good sister but also the young lady of the Linton family. This guy had scared the two of them before, and this time she wanted Hanh to join in the revenge.
It would definitely make Hanh happy.
Just then, Hanh arrived. Marry quickly pointed out, “Here, see, this is the surprise I prepared for you.”
Hanh took a good look, and then, in that moment, she felt like crying.
Why.
Why was life so hard?
