Killing does not always require a knife.
Heart killing is the most terrifying.
The whole of St. Sunday was already nearly rotten, originally the largest city in the South Province with a powerful military and vast size. Yet now it was nothing but lights of debauchery and hedonism, people living in drunken forgetfulness.
There were still a few who wanted to resist.
It’s guessed that when the people of South Land arrived, they would instantly kneel to avoid disaster.
They were becoming more and more spineless.
Robin shook his head, then instructed Jeff Reczek, “Go and check who the people of the Harding family are. I want to know who I’m dueling with.”
Yes.
A duel.
St. Sunday was now under the control of the Harding family, their weapon being the entire city.
And Robin’s weapon was the main battle party, which was pitifully weak.
However, a comeback in a desperate situation was what made things truly thrilling.
So this was a duel, a duel where Robin would turn the tables against the wind.
Such a duel was interesting.
“Yes.”
Jeff Reczek obeyed.
“The people of the Harding family are quite interesting.”
Robin smiled.
In the history of Kisia, the Harding family produced many outstanding people, as well as many ambitious ones. But in his generation, they all seemed to have disappeared.
It seemed that for nearly twenty years, there had been no trace of the Harding family.
Everyone thought the Harding family had declined.
If the younger generation failed to thrive, decline was inevitable.
Even for the Harding family, an ancient clan, it was no different.
However, who would have thought that these people were all hiding, lurking in various places without a sound, willing to lie dormant. This showed that the current head of the Harding family, had a strong will.
“Willow Harding, interesting.”
The current head of the Harding family was named Willow Harding.
Fifty years old.
Perhaps, imitating his ancestor.
He had spent decades sharpening a sword for a single swing.
His plan was perfect.
Unfortunately, at the most critical moment, it was broken by Robin. Perhaps no one expected Kisia’s first warrior god would not be guarding the frontier, but instead be in a small city like Stillwater, acting as a son-in-law.
This had disrupted their plan.
Creating a massive loophole.
Actually, even Robin hadn’t expected this.
“Luck is on my side, and so is strength.”
Robin looked out the window, a sharp glint flashed in his eyes. No matter what Willow Harding or Lord Whiteford did, he would eventually break the net of the South Border. And anyone who stepped into Kisia would pay the price.
“Also, it’s time to stir things up in St. Sunday.”
Robin looked at Jeff Reczek again, “Apart from the Roach family and Tiger Gang, who else is the largest in St. Sunday?”
“The Gilkes family. They are a top-level clan, they announced early on they would surrender, so they became the backbone of the pacifist faction. Also, the Gilkes family recently obtained a treasure, a weapon just dug up from the ground, known as the Sword of Supreme.”
Jeff Reczek remembered an investigation he had done.
“The Gilkes family plans to present this sword to Lord Whiteford as their first gift of surrender,” Jeff Reczek reported.
“Giving Kisia’s treasure to Lord Whiteford as a gift?”
Robin sneered.
With a hint of killing intent.
This was something left by the king of Kisia, to be given to a foreign tribe as a gift, did this mean Kisia had already surrendered to the tiny South Land?
How ridiculous.
“Let’s go, we have work to do. How can we let the ancestral treasures be given away so recklessly.”
Robin cracked his neck, making a clicking sound.
This time, she was really planning to kill.
This was not a matter of face.
It was a matter of honor, not just his, but the entire Kisia’s.
This gift, cannot be given.
“Yes sir.”
Jeff Reczek also stood up.
Subsequently, Robin stepped outside, sat in the car, and put on a sabre-toothed mask. Instantly, the temperature seemed to drop within a ten-mile radius, causing most people to shiver uncontrollably. From what he could tell at the moment, this mask was quite useful.
As for Jeff Reczek, he wore his unique pink, rabbit-eared mask. It was unbelievable to see such a robust man wearing such a cutesy mask. The only reason was that the mask was made by Leslie and Fiona. He cherished it greatly, always careful to clean it every now and then, fearing it would get dirty.
Soon enough, their car arrived at the Gilkes family’s residence. The villa wasn’t large, but the number of bodyguards was extraordinary. They were lined up on each side, all dressed in black, looking professional. It was an imposing sight. However, Robin strolled in with his hands behind his back, seemingly unconcerned.
“You…” The two men at the door fell to the ground before they could finish their sentence. Jeff Reczek appeared in their place. It was his doing.
“Announce that Mr. X of the war faction has come to visit the Gilkes family,” Robin instructed, his hands still behind his back. His goal was to create a huge stir in the dreary St. Sunday. To stir up a massive wave of the war faction.
In response, the Gilkes family’s bodyguards were dumbfounded. This Mr. X had actually walked in with such audacity, and even seemed fearless. Had he gone mad? This news quickly exploded in St. Sunday. It was being spread everywhere. Mr. X had come to the Gilkes family!
Meanwhile, at the second hospital of St. Sunday, in an emergency room, Ben Roach, the head of the Roach family, was waiting anxiously at the door with several powerful figures from his family.
After a while, a doctor came out. “Doctor, how is he? Has he woken up yet?” Ben Roach quickly asked. The man he was inquiring about wasn’t a direct member of the Roach family, or a high-ranking figure, but the doorman who had seen Robin’s true face at the hotel entrance. Some people inside had seen it too, but for some reason, they had all forgotten it. Only the doorman remembered.
Mr. X was hidden behind a mask and blended into the crowd once he took it off, making him hard to find. Only by finding Mr. X’s true face could they find the man himself. But the doctor shook his head: “I’m sorry, Mr. Roach. He was about to wake up, but then, for some reason, he fainted again. I… I… sigh…” The doctor sighed and walked away.
“This guy, he just won’t wake up,” Ben Roach was annoyed. He had spent a great deal of money to get the best doctor, but they still couldn’t wake the doorman. How was he supposed to find Mr. X without him? How was he going to catch the murderer of his son? It was infuriating.
Just then, someone rushed in to report: “Sir, Mr. X has shown up at the Gilkes family’s place.”
“Perfect,” Ben Roach was overjoyed. It was as if he had found what he was looking for without any effort. This Mr. X had actually appeared again. It was like being offered a pillow when he was getting sleepy. This Mr. X was truly seeking death!
