Hubert wanted to punch Hanley again, but the priority now was to find Vivian.

What Vivian wants to say is that it would be nice to go back to the days before she met Hanley, so that she would still be the same little girl who didn’t ask questions and had a brother who doted on her, and friends who played with her every day.
Hubert stood up and said nothing, he simply couldn’t look at Vivian’s sad face. Seeing her sad, he was more upset than she was.

With his hand falling in mid-air, Hubert laughed awkwardly twice before saying, “Actually, I also think the four of us haven’t been together for a long time, should we make an appointment to see if they have time to go on a resort vacation together?”
Hubert has no way to keep Vivian from getting upset, and can only try to distract her.
