Together, they ate the food followed by the dessert she made all the while talking about lots of things.
“You wanna take a bath?” he asked suddenly after a few hours of talking, which caught her off guard.
Before she knew it, he was already taking his shirt off, revealing his sculpted chest and abdomen, muscles rippling in each movement. She was shocked for a moment, standing there frozen on the floor until he quickly strided towards her and lifted her in his arms without warning.
She yelped in surprise but he continued to walk outside the house and she already guessed what was about to happen. Once she saw the large swimming pool revealed to her sight as the daylight shined at her, she screamed. Not that she was afraid. In fact, she loved swimming but it was a surprise. And she didn’t like surprises. She didn’t even had the chance to take her shirt off once he had jumped upon the pool.
Of course, he still jumped on the pool despite her screams. Their bodies clashed against the water as they parted. Under the water, she glared at him and swam away though she knew he was following her, knowing he always liked chasing after her whenever he thought she was running away from him.
She had swum to the edge of the pool when she felt hands grabbing her hips and strong arms bracing around her. She felt his hands lifting the shirt she wore and exposing her chest. She raised her arms and let him take the dämn shirt off her.
“That’s more like it,” he said as she ended up in only her bra and underwear.
She smiled and swam deeper down the pool with him trailing behind her. He didn’t mention how he liked the way she swam like a mermaid. Her body moved like snake underwater. So fast and elegant as if she had her feet as her own fins. He couldn’t help but feel like a dämn shark chasing after his enticing prey.
After awhile, she raised from the water and took one of the bathrobes that some man had placed on one of the beach chairs. She wondered why they seemed to be the only ones inside the mansion when she remembered Zach saying his Mother and his little sister Diana had gone out of town.
Just then she realized she hadn’t met his Mother and just the thought of it gave her anxiety though she didn’t know exactly why. Maybe because of the thought that she might be not beyond the expectations of his Mother.
“You ready to go home?” Zach’s voice echoed in her ears. She wasn’t surprised that he followed after her. She glanced at him and took her precious moment to take in his beauty. Perfectly sculptured manly body glistening wet and drops of water rolling down his skin.
“Yes,” she answered him after awhile of ogling. She watched as he took the only bathrobe left on the beach chair and wrapped it around himself, blocking his body from her sight. He knew she was aroused. He could smell her sweet musk. It was clouding the atmosphere.
He walked to her and laid a hand against her back as he whispered in her ear, “I can smell your lust, Kitten.”
He looked at her and she blushed red as if she was caught doing a crime.
“Come on,” he urged, leading her upstairs and towards his bathroom. Whilst she took a fresh warm bath, he went out of the house and took a long wild run into the woods just to kill his arousal, embrace the blowing wind, and ignore the growing desire to mark her.
After this, he went back to the house bathed in sweat. He wore his shorts and went straight to the guestroom’s bathroom to take a fresh warm bath. Anna was coming downstairs when she saw Zach freshly out of bath. His hair was wet and wild. His jeans hang around his hips. How could she not melt at the sight of him? Just as he pulled a shirt on over his head, she had time to compose herself.
“Ready?” he asked, looking at her. She was wearing a blouse, legs covered in dark leggings, and black ankle boots.
She nodded her head as he walked behind her and combed his fingers through her hair, leading on to braiding it down her back. They went out the house and he drove her on the way to the McQueen Subdivision. When they reached the McQueen Mansion, she was about to get out but he grabbed her arm in time to stop her.
“Stay here,” he strictly ordered, sensing something wasn’t right. She nodded her head as he quickly got out of the driver’s door. Just as he had predicted according to his senses and instinct, he instantly smelled the scent of death wandering the atmosphere.
It was clearly mixed with fresh blood and fresh death. He looked back at the truck and gave a stern look at Anna, silently telling her to stay in the truck. He turned around and walked inside the house. He walked towards the kitchen where the scent was growing stronger.
And there, he found a dead body, fresh blood pooling on the kitchen floor.
