Samantha’s POV
I woke up the next day feeling a bit weak but I still yet felt very good. Last night sure was very pleasurable, Kay was definitely a pro when it comes to making love.
I looked up at his face, his eyes were shut in a peaceful sleep. I smiled softly, yi really enjoyed last night and I wished that more days like it would come again but then I very well knew that days like that would come only when we are finally at peace, and that’s when we are finally able to solve the issue of slavery in the land.
“Good morning Cara.” I said.
“Good morning.” she replied gleefully too.
I moved up a bit and admired Kay’s facial features, right from his hair to his eyes, his lashes, his nose, his lips, his jaw, everything looked so perfect, he was so perfectly made that I wondered if he was made with extra time.
I moved closer to him to kissed him and his eyes opened up suddenly. I immediately halted and made to pull away from him but he held onto my waist and pulled me straight back to himself with a smirk on his face.
“You want to pull back now?” He asked with a smirk.
“I…”
“You are not okay with last night? How about one more?” He asked me and I blushed red right in front of him.
“Don’t be shy to request for me.” he drawled, trying to get me to look into his eyes but I just shook my head vehemently.
“I… I was not trying to do anything.” I mumbled.
“But you were going to kiss me…” He replied and I took a look at his lips before going for the pair and kissing them hard.
After a while of kissing, I quickly pulled off and made to get out of bed quickly but I was pulled back. My back landed on the soft material of the bed with a slight gasp that was quickly replaced with a smile.
“You really do think that I will let go of you so easily?” He asked.
“It… It’s morning already.” I pointed out.
“And is there a rule that I can’t make love to you in the morning? Even if there is such, I am breaking that rule.” he said and before I could say another word, he covered my lips with his soft and juicy lips.
I did not bother to resist him, I knew very well that I wanted him and he wanted me too so why should I stop him and myself from enjoying the moment?
I reciprocated the kiss and kissed him back long and hard, his hands soon roamed my entire body as he threw the blankets over the both of us.
Cassie’s POV
“Take a look at you” James said to me and I pouted slightly in confusion.
“What’s wrong with me?” I asked him.
We were just seeing that morning and I could not get what was amiss with me.
“Nothing can ever be wrong with you. You are just too perfect.” James said.
“But take a look at you once more, you are so pretty this morning that I thought I was staring at the goddess of beauty herself…. What am I even talking about? You are definitely the goddess of beauty, tell me who is more deserving of that post other than you?” He said and I blushed with a gentle smile.
“Hey, you’re blushing yet again.” he pointed out and raised my head up to meet his gaze.
“You are too sweet, how in the world would I not blush?” I asked him, trying to avoid his intense and piercing gaze but he made sure he was staring right into my eyes and I was staring back into his.
“I guess no other guy had made you blush this much, right?” He asked.
“Of course, you are my first love.” I replied him and he pulled me into a warm embrace.
“And I would have to be your last. No matter what happens in this world, you are not allowed to love someone else.” he said to me, still hugging me.
I pulled away from the hug and stared at his handsome figure in front of me.
“And you too…. Promise me that you are never going to love someone else in this life.” I requested from him.
“I would never leave you, I would never love someone else in this life and even in another life, you are the only one I would love.” he replied me and gently patted my hair.
He was just so loving, he was the best for me. The days that we had been dating were unarguably the best days of my life. I so much loved every moment that I spent with him.
“I want you to promise me something” he said to me, his countenance suddenly turning a bit more serious making me raise a brow.
“And what is that?” I asked him.
“I want you to promise me that no matter what you hear about me or find out, no matter what happens, you are never going to let go of me, you are always going to be holding my hands and….” I placed my index finger on his lips, shutting him up with a gentle smile on my face.
“I promise you, that is very sure. You would always be mine and I would never let you leave me.” I said and hugged him.
He hugged me even tighter.
“I should go off to the kitchen right now, I need to get to cooking.” I said to him.
“You’re cooking today?” He asked and I nodded.
“It’s been a really long time since I cooked last, I think I should visit the kitchen today.” he replied me.
“And is that acceptable? What if Alpha Kayden is against you going to the kitchen?”
“Of course not…. Perhaps you just never noticed me, each time I came to this mansion to see Alpha Kayden and I know you are in the kitchen, I would always go there to take a look at you.” he replied and I couldn’t help but blush even more at how cute he is.
“You’ve really loved me for a while.” I mumbled softly, tucking my hair behind my ears.
“I have sure did and I would do that for the rest of my life because it is the loveliest and most exciting thing for me.” he replied.
“Can we go off to the kitchen now?” I asked him, pointing towards the kitchen and he nodded.
He wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me to himself protectively. We both walked into the kitchen in that manner and I could feel the eyes of others on us.
“Let’s start.” I said to James, getting out of his grip and his face told me how much he hated the fact that I was getting out of his grip.
I picked the apron and tied mine, then picked another one and approached James. I moved closer to him and helped him with tying the apron around his waist.
I pulled back and ruffled his hair, he smiled and I turned to go wash my hands but he pulled me back and kissed my lips for a moment. He pulled back with a smirk on his face and I bit on my lips, trying to feign annoyance.
I washed my hands and James did the same too, we both set to work and joined the others in the cooking.
“I’d better just help you out with the chopping.” James said to me and grabbed the knife.
He handled the knife quite perfectly and I could not help but stop and stare at him in admiration.
“I know I am very handsome darling… Don’t just stare at me, you can kiss me as hard as you want and you can also take me to bed and…. ” He leaned closer.
“And make love to me, I wouldn’t resist, I am a good boy.” he finished his words with a naughty smirk on his face that made me hit him away from me in embarrassment and flushing red.
“Ouch” he gasped and I turned to see that he had just been injured by the knife, the sharp knife had cut through his wrist and I quickly turned to go grab something to dab it with.
“I am really sorry James, I never meant to do that to you.” I apologized profusely and turned towards him to inspect how bad the cut was.
“I am very sorry, I hope you are not angry or…” My words got stuck in my throat when I noticed that the wound had healed up.
My eyes widened as I searched frantically for the cut.
This can’t be! I did not want to ask the question that roamed my mind right now because I was super scared of the response. I searched the other hand even when I knew that was silly.
But there was just no cut anywhere. I slowly raised my head up to see James, his eyes were sad with remorse mixed with other feelings and emotions.
“You…. You are a wolf?”
