{His Business Party Unwanted Guest}
Author POV.
Landon and the girls arrived at the party, looking dazzling. Camila and Crystal find themselves seated while Landon has Nova around him. Got her to sit around the first class VIP seat while Camila and Crystal sat down on the random chairs.
Greetings from different business owners and partners. Few Celebrities and reporters. Nova felt nervous, sitting alone on the chair. She searched for Camila and she saw them. She waves at them a little and they wave back.
“Nova. ” She heard her name and looked back.
“Hi.. Good Evening. ” Nova greeted the lady in front of her.
“Wow, you look so much like her. ” The lady uttered and made an attempt to touch her cheeks.
“Sorry for avoiding your hands. But I don’t think I know you somewhere. ” Nova uttered and the lady laughed.
“What do you think you are doing here, Winifred? ” Camila interrupted with a serious face.
“Still rude to your elders… ” Winifred scoffed. She turns to look at Nova and fakes a smile.
“Who is she, Camila? ” Nova asked innocently.
“Don’t mind this, unwanted guests here. The lady beside you, here… Her name is Winifred. Well, she kinda obsessed–”
“Mind what you say Camila… Winifred interrupts with a serious tone.
“Just come off it, Winifred… Aren’t you tired of running after Landon? The arranged marriage was canceled, so what else are you still looking for? Camila uttered, now raising her voice while Nova stared at the two, looking lost.
“If you two have issues before the occasion… she inhales and tucks behind her ear. “I think you should excuse yourself and talk about it in private. Nova whispered while Camila rolled her eyes.
“I don’t have any issue with her. Just that Winifred loves picking fights with me… let me introduce her. ” Camila uttered while Nova nodded.
“Don’t put obsess–”
“I’m still talking bitch… ” Camila yelled and slammed her fist on the table… Her actions direct people’s attention to her.
“I’m sorry. ” Nova apologized and stood up with her hands dragging Camila and Winifred. She dragged them away from the party and released their hands harshly.
Nova POV.
Seriously, I won’t be the reason or a reason Landon business party will get ruined. Camila loves picking fights and this whatever Winifred is someone who doesn’t like Camila either. Right the moment she approached me, I knew she’s up to something.
Seeing how the two are acting childish, Camila is still childish but this Winifred looks like someone who is around Zoey’s age but she brought herself low, just because of Camila, picking every word Camila is saying into a nonsense argument.
I won’t be dragged into their shit and I won’t get on Landon’s bad side. I angrily pick their arms and drag them away. Winifred was struggling with hers but Camila was calm, still I released their arms but I dropped it angrily. With my serious face activated, I stared at the lady in front of me while Camila was beside me.
“If you two have had an issue before, I think you should settle it but you trying to drag me into whatever plans you have up your sleeves is out of it. ” I uttered with my teeth clasp against each other.
“You’re just as bold as your sister.. Zoey– ”
“Zoey, isn’t in this issue, so get my sister’s name out your fucking mouth… Being bold,,, It runs in our blood but being stupid, dumb and senseless isn’t in our blood. Just a warning to you Winifred or whatever your name is… Stay away from Camila, stay away from Landon and lastly, stay away from my family… ” I uttered and ran my fingers through my hair. Seriously, I don’t know where the courage came from but I know I talked some sense into her head.
I guess she wasn’t expecting me to talk so much because she looked shocked for minutes. I turn to look at Camila but I end up rolling my eyes at her. She looks satisfied with the way I handled her. I pull her and we walk away from Winifred.
“You called me dumb, stupid and senseless. ” Winifred’s voice stopped us.
“Because you are. I don’t know much about you but with the little act up you display made me see those three attributes in you. All you need is to grow up, grow up and have sense.. Don’t drag conversation with your kid sister… Reason why Landon can’t date you, because you lack the attributes of being a better lady. ” I uttered and she sniffed in.
She wiped her face with her shaking hands. Camila feeling pity, gosh damn those emotions of hers. I turn around to see Landon behind us. He pockets his hand and I stare at him. Camila was also staring at him. I guess everyone was staring.
“Apologies to her. ” He uttered and the walls of courage in me crumbled to the beginning.
