Chapter 73
“Well mother, she told me to go home without her since she needs to clean everywhere tonight and she wasn’t certain if she would be able to finish it today,, so…. That was the reason why she requested me to go home. ”
Brooklyn said and with”Annie” her mother countenance, she could tell that she didn’t believe her.
“That sounds unlike Zelda! But it’s okay! I do hope that she will be able to take care of herself there”. Annie said and went to continue her cooking.
Brooklyn found it hard to stand up from the bed right now and go help her mother in the Kitchen. She couldn’t bring herself to do that.
She was still in illusion with everything that had happened and found it very hard to believe. First , Zelda was a werewolf! Like seriously, how could she be a werewolf? How’s that possible? Could it be that her mother was also a werewolf?
After resting for a good thirty minutes she walked to the kitchen to help her mother and found that as an opportunity to ask her questions.
“Mother, do we have a werewolf Gene?” She asked as Annie pondered why she was asking such questions .
“I mean to say that was my father a werewolf before she died? Have we Ever had any Werewolf friends before?” I ask as she nodded her head in disagreement.
“No My child! We are all Human and you need to know that Werewolf is a monster. Werewolf is a beast and they can kill someone at any time”.
With those words, her heart skipped and beat on remembering Camilla words about Zelda. If indeed what she was telling her was True then why didn’t Zelda attack her the moment she transited into a werewolf or could it be because of the fact that she was her sister?
Her mother could notice the sad countenance on her Face and decided to ask her what the problem was since she seemed so Lost. “What is Brooklyn? Is everything okay with you?” Annie asked as she nodded her head with a smile escaping her lips at the moment. “I’m okay mother”. She spoke with a feigned smile.

The next morning
Harley wasn’t able to sleep well at night and right now she’s ready to go to the police station where Felix was taken to. “Are you sure that you know the place?” She shrugged at the two Guys who she had sent such a message to yesterday and they claimed to know where they were taken to. “yes ma’am so please trust us and stop doubting us”. They shrugged at her as they entered the car and drove away.

The three of them were taken away to a place they have no idea of. They’ve decided to transfer them to another direction after dropping them at the police office. The policemen called the government and complained to them about everything that had happened during the attack. Two trusted men from the government were sent to take them to their institution and Martin, Harley’s father , was among the people that was sent.
Brandon couldn’t help but wonder where they’d taken them to. Zelda on the other hand was badly wounded and her wolf form was looking so messy at the moment. She was running out of time. She needs to get back to her human form because if she stays in this Werewolf form under Forty Hours then everything is over for her since she would die due to the wound she had gotten by fighting with Felix.
Felix on the other hand was surprised to find out that the person who had carried them was no other than Harley father “Martin” he tried so much to seek his attention by howling at Him but yet Martin couldn’t understand His logic and the more he make noise, the more he was whipped by a big rode.
Brandon does understand what he was trying to do and he feels pity for the three of them and blames himself for going to the marriage in the first place. He only feels sorry for Zelda who wasn’t responding properly. Judging by her countenance he could see that she’s terribly sick and needs to be treated.
And not quite long, a young gentleman man walked towards them with an evil grin. “were they the one? Where are those monsters that killed my daughter?” The Man questions the two Werewolf hunters who were Martin and one man like that as they nodded their heads. ..
And behold, the man brought out an electric shocker that was currently with Martin before.
“I don’t know if you monsters can hear me but why do you kill My daughter?” My daughter who came for Harley marriage was attacked by you monster and I’m going to kill the three of you right now because you were behind Everything that had happened to my daughter.
Just then, he received a call and apologized to them. Brandon could see the fears in Zelda’s eyes. She was really so scared that she was whimpering at the Moment. Her eyes were watering. So is this how they will all die? Is this the beginning of their death?
Felix wasn’t scared at all. He wouldn’t let this ugly looking man lay his hands talkless of putting those electric shockers on his Body. He wouldn’t allow it. He wouldn’t allow any form of harassment from him because once he tried doing that he would attack him immediately and kill him and if that can result in his death at the end then let it be.

Harley was devastated after finding out that they weren’t at the police station anymore. They’ve gone and when Harley asks one of the policemen he told her that they’ve been taken away to another place. But Harley insisted on knowing where they were taken to but the police man wouldn’t reveal Such information to her.
“Why do you ask?” Why do you care to know?” The man questions her as she scoffs and smirks. She doesn’t just understand why this man is being so stubborn. She’s running out of time and Felix must have expected to see her coming to save him.
“It’s just that those monsters stole my things and I need to teach them a lesson! So tell me! What do you need for you to pass such information and the details of their whereabouts to me?”
