During the morning rush hour, Shirley arrived at the office a minute before clocking in and saw Leanne running frantically towards the elevator not far ahead of her.
“Strange how she comes so late these days.” Leanne is much more diligent than Shirley, who has to sleep in until her alarm goes off. She always arrives early and meets up with Vinson, who also arrives early, sometimes.
Leanne doesn’t want to see Vinson just yet, so she starts arriving late with a purpose, and just as she enters the elevator and is about to close the door, she sees Shirley waving.
“Give me a minute.”
Leanne moved her finger from the door-closing button to the door-opening button as Shirley stepped quickly into the elevator.
“Vinson told me about your new concept this time, it’s great, it’s going to help Gu hit the ground running again.”
Shirley’s words of bragging Leanne heard, but now really can not afford to fight her spirit to argue, so smiled and nodded.
Shirley found that Leanne was not very interested, so she stopped talking, just as the elevator reached the floor where the cafeteria was located, “I haven’t had breakfast yet, have you eaten, together?”
“No I’ve eaten at home.”
The elevator closes and Leanne is alone again.
Arriving at the floor where the office is located, Leanne went straight to her office and went there, Louise looked at her strangely, “Leigh Leanne, did you and Mr. Gu have a fight?”
“Why do you all ask that, we, didn’t fight.”
“That’s chilling out.” Louise brings a pile of fabric and stacks it on Leanne’s desk.
“No, none of that, just concentrate on your work!”
After sending Louise away, Leanne leaned back against the back of the swivel chair, “Vinson, how am I going to face you?”
Shirley finished her breakfast, took a glass of freshly squeezed blueberry juice upstairs, reached Vinson’s office door and pushed the door in.
“Shirley, I’m on my way to a meeting, let’s go together.” Vinson was on his way out of the office, carrying his computer.
“Drink this first before I let you go.” Shirley handed over the blueberry juice and looked at Vinson with a smile.
“Can’t really do anything about you.” Took the cup and drank it: “Let’s go, go to the meeting.”
Shirley was happy to follow Vinson quickly to walk outside, Vinson suddenly stopped, Shirley dodged and hit him on the back.
“What’s up Vinson,” rubbing her nose, which was sore from the bump, and looking over Vinson’s broad shoulder to see Leanne and Louise.
“Good morning Leanne, I didn’t even meet you this morning.”
“Yeah I’m late today.” Leanne responded dryly.
The group walked towards the conference room with stiff faces.
After sitting down, Vinson began to speak, “Good morning everyone, I’m sorry to call everyone out of the meeting so early, today’s meeting is about Gu’s 70th anniversary edition of the dress release press conference, the initial established is a new product in January, according to the age group from oldest to youngest, divided into twenty generations of, thirty generations of, forty generations of, and the white head couple’s wedding dresses, the last One issue of gowns will be chosen for all-age generations, about which, please speak up if you have any other suggestions.”
“According to the big data survey of our country’s apparel industry, the market of wedding dresses and other special dresses has been occupied by fixed giants for a long time, and it’s almost more difficult for us Gu’s to get a foot in the door than to get to the top.” An unpromising director spoke to.
“You are indeed right, but if we consider the other side, Gu has been listed so far, widely involved in dresses and other clothing, but has never done a project on the wedding dress category, if as a commemorative product, it is likely to be surprisingly successful.” Another director who is optimistic about this project replied.

Vinson looks sideways at Leanne, who is looking down at her papers.
All these small movements were caught by Shirley’s eyes.
At the end of the meeting Vinson went out with a few board members, and Leanne dawdled to pack her things for fear of running into Vinson.
“Leigh Leanne, can you talk to me for a minute if you have a moment?” Shirley said as she walked up to Leanne.
“I’m available right now.” The conference room was empty, and Louise had been called away to get the information, leaving Leanne and Shirley alone in the room.
“I don’t know what kind of feelings you have for Vinson, but I can see your cold and hot attitude towards him, Vinson is not your appendage, you call and wave, how hard it is in his heart do you know!”
“Shirley I admit I’ve been in a bit of a bad mood lately and I may not have been very nice to Vinson, I hope you can forgive me, I’ll go apologize to Vinson when I figure it out.” Leanne looked at a somewhat agitated Shirley but did not know how to explain all this to her.
“You claim you love Vinson, so I’m out, but if you’re still going to treat him this nonchalantly, I don’t mind starting the competition with you again.” Shirley finished and left, leaving Leanne to sit by herself in the conference room and stare.
Mo’s.
Today was Lucy’s first day back at Mo’s. She purposely put on the new Dolce & Gabbana that Owen bought for her the day before when she was shopping, pulled open the cabinet, chose a crocodile backpack from which the color matched the overskirt, drew a delicate makeup and sprayed a fresh smelling perfume, Lucy was confident about her appearance today.
Owen drives Lucy to the office: “Lucy, you look so beautiful today, you can’t tell you’re going to be a mom.”
Lucy’s smile froze on her face, “Let’s go, or we’ll miss our punch card.”
“Okay, let’s go as a family of three.” Owen didn’t notice Lucy’s mood swings at all, lost in his own happiness.
Once inside the company, although the people around do not say out, but looking at Lucy’s eyes, all reveal the hidden disgust.
“You’ve all met the person next to me, Miss Lucy, who I’ve asked to come out to do the design for Mo’s new project, please welcome.” Owen said leading the applause himself.
Listening to the sparse applause, Lucy turned her head and went into the office.
Owen was awkwardly left in place: “It’s like this, Lucy she is pregnant, the previous things Lucy is a little lack of consideration, I hope you all bear more.”
He dialed the internal phone and called his assistant: “I’m going out tonight to relax, tell Lucy I have an urgent business trip today.”
The assistant had just heard from someone that Lucy was pregnant when Owen was called in to deliver such news, “Okay, I got it.”
“What a face for you Lucy, let’s see what I’ll do to you and that old thing Mogin when I get my shares and you have the baby too.” Owen muttered to the wall.
