“Now tell me everything.” Danielle asked her immediately they entered her house.
Claire could not believe her friend as the driver was waiting outside for her to take her home. Tristan after all had made certain he takes her home and confirms it for him. She could not tell her friend much but simply explained that Matthew had lured her out under the guise of wanting to take her to a grocery store to get something to aid her. Danielle was really sad and ashamed for being such an excuse for a friend to Claire as she should have watched over her. She had gotten carried away at the party and thought Claire was in safe hands. She apologized deeply for what had happened admitting it all the be her fault. Claire told her it was all fine as Tristan’s timely intervention had saved her a lot of pain that would have come her way especially the trauma. Danielle swore that she was going to go after Matthew and make him pay for trying to hurt her friend as it was bad a thing that he had done. Claire stopped her stating it was not necessary at all now Tristan had taken care of all that. She would very much prefer it does not escalate into a full blown drama between them all as that would get her into more trouble should her father get a wind of it. Danielle said she understood but was certainly going to confront him even if it was in the most polite manner. Claire insisted she would rather not as too much drama had been made over the issue but in truth she would rather it do not escalate and her father gets a wind of it not to mention her step family. She would not hear the end of it definitely.
Claire got busy with changing her clothes and Danielle noticing how serious she was asked if she seriously was not going to tell her anything about the previous night spent with Tristan. Of course not, Claire had to get home. She promised to tell her everything when next they meet and then Danielle looking grim told her she had a confession to make and an apology to tender. She explained how she had been really nervous and had denied taking Claire to the party when Tristan had called as she had been really scared of loosing her job over the issue. It was not her intention and if given a chance, she certainly was going to make it all up but she just needed to get it off her chest. Claire was disappointed im her for what she had done as she wondered what would have become of her had something seriously happened. Her friend already denied but since she had apologized, the good hearted girl had no option but to accept. Although the disappointment on her face was very much clear for all to see as she left Danielle’s home. She had to get home now and face a bigger lion. Her father. Claire got into the car and gave him directions to her home and he took her there. When she had wanted to highlight halfway home, he refused vehemently that his instructions was to see her get home and that was all he was going to do. He would rather not get on the bad side of Tristan Jenkins and so she sat still as he drove her all the way home. She thanked him very much when he brought her home and headed inside. Claire was really nervous as she knocked.
“Miss, where have you been all night.” Martha had asked as soon as she opened the door
“Shhh, is father in?” Claire asked her
“Not back from his lecture thingy. But you had us all up to our toes.” Martha said
“I’m sorry Martha. Work was really something.” Claire said stepping inside.
Martha with the watchful eyes of a mother was observing her and knew something was up with even how she was walking.
“Is everything alright Claire?” she asked her suddenly and Claire smiled
“Everything is fine Martha.” Claire had said bringing a wide smile as she wondered if sex makes people change and if it was obvious that she had just gone through romps with Tristan.
Martha might have pursued the subject as she was not comfortable with how Claire was reacting especially how uneasy she looked. She was about saying something when Andrew interrupted from upstairs coming into view.
“Is that Claire?” he had asked.
When he saw she was the one, he stated he had never been more relieved to see her as he had been calling her. Claire did not understand. Andrew started explaining how he had taken her call number from their father’s phone and had been calling her. Claire realized it was the strange number she had seen and he asked for her phone so he would save her number. There was nothing to hide, he knew of her condition and she gave it to him. He was just done saving the number when she recalled all about Miller. Her dear cat must have been starving. Without a single word to anyone, she started hurriedly for her room in a frenzy and upon entering her room, she did not see her cat. She panicked as she recalled her step mother’s warnings. Miller was fond of leaving her room and perhaps he had and the woman sent him to the animal shelter.
Andrew had come in after her and asked if all was fine. Upon realizing she was looking for Miller, he told her the cat was in his room as he could not bear his mewing all night and knowing their mother, he had to step up for the pet. Claire dashed off to his room and found Miller in Jasper’s arms snuggling. She realizes that was her first time ever coming into Andrew’s room and went for her cat who opened his eyes and was excited as well as pissed seeing her. The fuzzy creature snipped at her face with his paws before relaxing in her arms.
Jasper greeted her and she responded apologizing for her behaviour but she had been worried. She turned and thanked Andrew who told her that she could make it all up to them by honouring her promise. Claire recalled Matthew’s case and knew well enough that there would not be a Tristan to save her every time but she had promised and owed them a great deal. She asked when they would be returning and an excited Andrew told her it was the very same day as he did not plan on getting her into more troubles. She could seen how Jasper was glancing at her and felt really embarrassed. To crown her embarrassment was the fact established that she was older than both the boys. She decided that she would not act stupid and carrying Miller went straight to her room. After throwing some decent clothes on, Claire in her joggers and hoodie stepped out to follow them out. No one had complained nor did they say anything demeaning to her but when they had gotten to the event at the beach, Claire realized how overdressed she was at the moment. The ladies rocked their bikinis and swimsuit while the guys rocked their shorts and pants. Claire felt so ashamed and embarrassed but said nothing. Andrew and Jasper had earlier gone to change while she waited for them impatiently. A group of sexy looking girls suddenly passed her. Brushing her aside rudely as one obviously the leader of the seemingly sorority spoke up loudly.
“Who brought a geek to the party for models.” she had said and her peers laughed loudly obviously to make certain Claire heard. Claire wanted to go back home that instant. The party was yet to begin yet she was already feeling downcast.
Andrew and Jasper came back and were shocked Claire had still not changed. When they asked and she said she had brought nothing, they were rather shocked. She needed to blend in to avoid looking like a lost sheep. They forced her to follow them to the bout where they put up a request for a bikini set for her. Jasper paid and the pair waited outside while she went in to change.
Of course Claire took her time as she was embarrassed. The bikini was way too revealing as the g-string exposed both her butt cheeks. She could not go out looking that way as she stared herself severally in the mirror. Claire decided she would wear her joggers over her panties leaving only her upper parts exposed with just the barely covering bikini. While changing, she realized she felt sore underneath but thought nothing to it as she folded up her hoodie and stepped outside.
“What happened to the full bikini?” Andrew had asked
“Too revealing.” she said as he took her hoodie
“You look sexy this way.” Jasper had said and Claire smiled
“Come on sister, loosen up.” Andrew had said coming over to separate her folded hands when he noticed something on her neck. “What’s this Claire?”
She did not see but that was certainly the tantalizing spot where Tristan had been kissing her.
“Oh it’s nothing. I scratched myself.” she said
“Looks like a hickey.” Andrew said and laughed
“What’s a hickey?” Claire asked innocently.
The two looked at her and then at each other before laughing. Claire was confused really as she was curious.
“Trust me sis, you do not want to know.” Andrew said.
