Chapter 950 You’re Angry

Book:My Billionaire Ex-wife Published:2024-5-31

Alina looked at Chester and didn’t answer his question, only asked, “What’s going on with Daisy by Andre?”
When she was in Shirling, Andre did not know Daisy and had no dealings with the Dawsom family.
Why was Daisy by his side when Andre attended those events recently? Daisy was in and out with him.
With all this fanfare, many media outlets were starting to scramble to report that the two of them are probably close to marriage.
While tangling with Daisy, and at the same time he was looking for Nellie like crazy. Alina could not understand this brother.
She felt her brother was a scum.
It used to be bad between them too, but at least he didn’t have another woman by his side, and back then she said that Andre was more clean and sensible and wouldn’t mess around.
But this time…
Chester frowned, “Nellie knows all about it?”
Alina nodded, “Yes, she knows everything.”
“Andre…” Now Chester didn’t know what to say about Andre.
Although he was unable to find Nellie now, had it never occurred to him that now he was in the light and Nellie was in the dark?
He didn’t know Nellie’s current situation, but Nellie knew him well.
With Daisy at his side, that mad search of his would have no meaning for Nellie.
“You used to be like him.”
Alina grunted.
This caused Chester’s body to tighten up.
“Why are you talking about me again? Isn’t all that past behind us?”
Chester was aggrieved.
Besides, she knew what it was like that at the time.
Alina knew what was going through Chester’s mind and grunted, “Don’t think that you have a reason for that situation at that time.”
“There are times when men do these things that are unforgivable in a woman’s mind, no matter what the reason is at the time.”
There are many ways in which protection can involve another person and still involve the people and things that the person cares about most.
Then that thing can be a hurdle that is hard to get past.
Now Chester has understood this.
“Babe, I was wrong, please stop it.” Chester took her in his arms and sat down, coaxing her continuously.
Alina grunted and tried to struggle out of Chester’s arms, however he hugged him even tighter.
He was afraid that if he let go, Alina would run away.
Alina, “What are you doing?”
Chester, “Don’t be angry, okay?”
“Let go, I’m not angry.”
“You’re angry.” Chester refused to let go.
Probably he knew that when she and Nellie talked about Daisy, she thought about what happened to Annie at that time.
She had no idea how upset he was at the time.
He hated himself when he saw her injured, when Asher was as mad as a hatter in the last hours.
He was genuinely afraid that she might be hurt.
Yet in the end, he himself had wounded her to such an extent.
It wasn’t like Alina wanted to bring up the old story again, but Penny was crying so hard back then.
She wanted hit Chester right now.
Chester hugged and kissed her, “No more anger.”
“All right, all right.” What’s there to be angry about now? It’s been so long ago.
Alina did not want to continue to dwell on this matter, plus Annie was later caught by Sienna.
“By the way, get someone reliable to stay by Nellie.”
“You’re not going to tell your brother?” Chester looked at Alina in surprise.
He thought she’d tell Andre about it after a really bad dinner tonight.
Unexpectedly, she was not willing to tell Andre but tried to help Nellie.
It was evident that Alina was resistant to the idea of men being surrounded by many women.
At this, Alina was unpleasant.
When she saw Nellie eating something like that just now, she really had a momentary urge to tell Andre about it.
But when thinking that Andre was just a jerk, she gave up.
Daisy was a madman, and now that she was following Andre around at all times during this period, which showed that she determined to win.
If she knew that Nellie was pregnant now, she might do anything bad in secret.
“You don’t know Daisy, but I knew her well when I was in Shirling, so forget it.”
“…”
“Besides, why should I worry about something he can’t figure out on his own?”
“That’s true.” Chester nodded.
Knowing that Nellie might care, he even brought Daisy to the event, and now Chester wondered what Andre was thinking.
But he had searched for so long and hadn’t come to Sinantu Pavilion.
Maybe because he thought with Alina here, Nellie would definitely not come and hide here.
However he underestimated how well thought out women can be.
After Nellie left Shirling, her first stop was at Sinantu Pavilion, which was probably why it was so hard to find her all this time.
Once Alina returned to the castle, she picked out a maid for Nellie who seemed to do things more reliably, Bonnie.
She had experience with children.
Alina explained to her, “Take good care of her, call me if anything wrong happens, and your salary will still be settled here.”
“Okay, Madam.” Bonnie nodded respectfully.
Alina thought for a moment and added, “She is pregnant, so especially take care of her and the baby’s nutrition, don’t talk about her outside, and don’t need to deal with any neighbourly relations.”
After all, now that Andre was looking for Alina everywhere, she didn’t want Nellie’s whereabouts to be revealed because of the maid she sent.
When Bonnie heard this, she knew that Nellie’s status must be very strict and nodded, “Don’t worry, Madam, I understand.”
“You’ll be there tomorrow morning.”
“Okay.”
Only after the explanation did Alina relax.
As she had just finished explaining and went upstairs, she received a call from Andre, who was a bit tipsy on the other side of the phone, “Alina, why can you forgive Chester? Why can’t she forgive me?”
Alina heard these words full of alcohol, and asked, “Is Daisy with you?”
At this, Andre froze, “What do you mean?”
“Don’t you understand? Why was Daisy by your side? Why have you attended so many events together?”
Alina had a bad tone.
Andre’s breathing was ragged.
Alina didn’t want to continue the nonsense with him, yet just as she was about to hang up the phone, Andre asked in a tight tone, “She contacted you? She told you that she cares?”
“What are you thinking about? Are you brainless.” Alina’s heart trembled in fear.
Not daring to say anything further, she yelled and hung up.
She didn’t expect that Andre was still so sensitive when he was drunk.
