Yet soon.
He then got the answer that caused him pain when Caleb told him that Alina had been clamouring for Chester for the whole time she was ill.
She even held a picture of Chester all the time.
“So, you’ve been taking care of a heartless woman?” After hearing this, Andre said in shock.
He had no idea that Chester had such an important place in Alina’s heart.
But yes, if he was unimportant, then back then, when Alina was suffering from that kind of life change, she wouldn’t have been driven mad by it.
She went crazy at that time because she couldn’t get past the guilt she felt for Chester.
Caleb, “Is she your sister or not? How can you call her heartless woman?”
Caleb found out how he didn’t realize before Andre was such a man. It seemed that whoever Alina was with was the bad guy.
In short, no matter who Alina was with, he showed his disliking.
“You know, she’s not anymore.” Andre said in a somewhat light tone, and with so much heartache.
Now based on what Sienna had done, he really hoped that Alina was really from the Hughes family, at least that the Hughes family was pure and her fondest memories.
Sienna was her sister, yet did things that were so puzzling and had to be kept on guard at all times.
It was as if one slip up and this woman would hurt Alina.
“Alright, I’ll keep an eye on Sinantu Pavilion during this period of time.” Andre thought about it, but in the end, he was a bit uneasy.
Although Alina was taken by Chester, they know now that Alina wass not a member of the Hughes family, so there was no relationship with Zane, and nothing more with Andre.
But they seem to have taken to shielding her.
So in knowing that she was now back with Chester in Sinantu Pavilion, she might even be involved in that whirlwind.
Andre was uneasy about her.
“Okay.”
Hearing Andre say this, Caleb put his mind at ease, that’s what he called Andre for.
Now, someone from Andre must watch over Sienna, and he will personally watch over Sinantu Pavilion, to make sure that nothing changes for Alina at this juncture.
As Andre hung up Caleb’s phone, Nellie came in.
Andre was surprised to see her come to him on her own initiative, as she had been with Barney all this time and was reluctant to see him.
Even when he took the initiative to go to her, she was cold-eyed, and it was a rarity that she would take the initiative to find this place today.
“He’s out of hospital?”
Andre asked as he lifted the glass of water in front of him and took a sip.
Nellie sat down across from him and didn’t answer his question directly, but looked at him with an icy gaze.
Andre frowned, “What?”
“Don’t make a move on the James’, there’s no point in doing that.” Nellie’s tone was cold.
Andre’s hand, holding the glass of water, lurched.
He looked sharply at Nellie, obviously not expecting her to know all that.
Yes, he did make some moves on the James’ during this time, but none of them hurt the James’ in any way, just to force her back.
He didn’t expect her to have the slightest intention of going back now, which really surprised Andre.
“Is this the attitude you’re begging?” Andre chilled his voice.
He never thought she would disregard even the James’ for Barney.
At those words, the light under Nellie’s eyes was darker at the moment, “That’s all you’ve got? Can you do something new?”
“It doesn’t matter if it’s new or not, as long as you’re willing to go back to Shirling.”
Andre didn’t feel embarrassed that Nellie knew the truth, this was what he was after now, as long as Nellie was willing to go back.
Nellie sneered.
She didn’t expect Andre to be shameless to such an extent, “What if I don’t go back? Are you going to let the James’ fall?”
“You could have tried it.”
Andre said in a sombre tone.
The air was quiet.
Andre’s attitude was unprecedentedly strong, yet Nellie was like a rebellious child, without the slightest intention to compromise.
Andre was in no hurry, he looked at Nellie’s icy gaze, but his heart hollowed out.
Nellie stood up and said, “Whatever you want, I can give up the James’, it’s not important to me anyway.”
She was telling the truth. The James family would have been unimportant to her.
Andre didn’t expect her to say that at this point in time.
His thin lips were pursed as he looked at her, the anger under his eyes showing through.
“Heh, it’s not important?” Barney was now so important in her heart that it had become more important than even the James family?
She was so hysterical before when she was trying to take back the James family.
Now it was surprising that for the sake of Barney, she said it was not important.
Nellie said without the slightest hesitation, “Yes, the James family is not important to me.”
Although that made a fortune because of her mother, the time spent taking the James’ back was seen in the company.
It was basically the heart and soul of Catherine and Hazel, everything in there had changed long ago, and those shadows disgusted her.
So if Andre wanted to let it be overthrown, so be it, that place was not important or even annoying to her anyway.
Andre didn’t know what she was thinking.
He fully determined that she was doing it for Barney, and now she would have to give up the James family outright.
How had he not realised before that this woman was so emotionally terrifying, willing to give up anything for her relationship?
And the woman who was, once, all over him, was now for another man…
Thinking of this, a cold light appeared under Andre’s eyes, “The James family is not important, what about the Chambers family?”
At the sound of his voice, Nellie’s breath tensed.
Looking towards Andre, she had a cold light flashed under her eyes.
Looking at the flickering change under Nellie’s eyes, Andre laughed and mocked, “It seems that you are not completely without a soft spot.”
“What do you want?”
Nellie said in a somewhat sinister tone.
Andre, “Nothing, if you’re not good, then it’s not certain what I’m actually going to do.”
There was a dull ache in the heart of Nellie.
Andre put down his glass of water and said, “We should go back to Shirling, we’ve stayed here long enough, don’t you think?”
Andre looked menacingly at Nellie, throwing the question at her.
Nellie looked at Andre with her hands clenched in fists, and the intense hatred flickering under those eyes was clear to Andre.
Yet he did not care now whether Nellie hated him or not, she had to go back to Shirling with him and could not remain here.
Without answering his question, Nellie turned around and walked away.
Andre, “I’ll allow you to see him one last time, say goodbye to him.”
Nellie paused in her steps and did not turn back, trembling continuously, obviously holding back a monstrous rage.
There came the slamming of the door.
The light under Andre’s eyes had dimmed.
