Looking at the two’s completely soft exchange, a hint of ice flowed out from under Chester’s eyes.

Getting up to catch up with Chester, he said “You’re really selfish, not thinking of her all the time, she’s living a good life here, can’t you see that?”
“I will make her life good too.”
“Where on earth did you get that confidence? If she were sober now, she really wouldn’t want to go with you.”
Caleb said without even thinking about it.
Chester paused in his steps.
Thinking of Alina’s resistance to him earlier, he knew that she could not forgive him for that time in Ingford.

Caleb said to her, “I’ll go get you some medicine and spray it.”
“Okay.”
