Getting Andre to agree? That’s simply not possible.
If he would have divorced her, then he wouldn’t have used such tactics as forcing a marriage and tying her up in Ingford.
She didn’t know what was wrong with Andre, but now…
“I was tied to him to get married, doesn’t that give me any advantage at all?”
“But you did sign the relevant documents.”
“I didn’t sign that.” The more Nellie said, the angrier she got.
She did not expect Andre to be so despicable as to do such a thing to her.
However, Blake said, “I have brought up the investigation in Ingford for you, but you did not look coerced at the time.”
The surveillance had been watched and the verdict over there was that Nellie was not coerced.
So whatever she said now was null and void and she had to go through the normal divorce process.
“And what if he never says yes?” Was she going to spend the rest of her life with Andre?
Blake, “I’ll help you file a lawsuit, but you know Mr. Francis’s position in Shirling, if he doesn’t agree, it will be difficult for you to divorce this marriage.”
When Nellie heard this, she almost went limp.
Nellie was so angry that her brain hurt, she now wished that the relationship between her and Andre was crystal clear.

“So what exactly do I do?”
“From now on, see him less, preferably not at all.” This was the worst possible scenario if it had to be put off until two years.
Nellie heard this extra meaning of Blake’s words.

Thinking of the threats Andre made to her on the phone, Nellie only felt that this man was dangerous and paranoid, and that it was better to stay away from him.

She hung up the phone.
Nellie was sitting moodily on a metal chair in the corridor. When Nancy came back, her eyes were full of indignation.
It was obvious that she had come back knowing that the Brooks family had left.
Nellie felt her hostility clearly, and naturally he would not easily mess with her.
Nancy, “You’re not even good enough for my brother, why are you so cheeky?”
Nellie, “It’s not even a question of whether I am good or not.”

“You’re in a marriage with Andre now, right? Is that a cheating within your marriage?” This was said with a touch of sarcasm.
Nellie’s face sank, still not paying attention to Nancy.
Nancy was furious when she didn’t say anything, but there was nothing she could do about it.
After a moment, she added, “I’m here, you can go back.”
“I’m not leaving.” Nellie finally spoke, her tone light, without the slightest hint of emotion or annoyance.
This made Nancy feel powerless.
“What the hell do you want? It’s impossible for you and my brother, and don’t think that just because my mother is on your side, will work out. Grandma won’t agree to that, it’s Grandma who has the say.”
Nancy said in exasperation.
Nellie raised an eyebrow at her, “Whether your brother and I might or might not be possible, that doesn’t seem like it should be your concern, you’re just his sister.”
Hearing these words from Nellie, Nancy felt her heart ached.
There was a moment of sadness in her eyes before she regained her composure, “Don’t be complacent, I’m telling you, you will never marry into the Brooks family.”
Having said that, Nancy stomped off angrily on her high heels.
She was just angry by Nellie’s remark, and Nellie did not pay any attention to her.
She sensed Nancy’s hostility, and not just because she had messed up that wedding with Barney.
On the contrary, she felt that Nancy was hoping that Barney and her would not work out.

Nellie could at least be close to his side.

Miriam looked at Barney’s well recovered face and relief appeared in her eyes, “I am really scared to death.”
“Relax.” Barney’s tone was light.
Miriam nodded and glanced at Nellie, gratitude and love showing in her eyes, “Thanks to Nellie this time, she has been waiting outside for you to come out.”
“I know.”
This was something Barney knew, Nellie had been waiting outside for him to come out.
Miriam talked for a while longer and Nancy arrived.
She said that the old lady wanted to come to the hospital but was not physically able to do so, so she did not come and was relieved to know that Barney was recovering well.
“Barney, how are you feeling now?” Nancy was still worried.
All this time, she had been trying to stay by Barney’s side, but she was angry seeing Nellie and there was pressure from her mother.
Miriam had never allowed her to come to the hospital, and she had been sneaky whenever she appeared in front of Nellie.
Barney nodded, “Better.”
“How about I stay by your side? I’ve been really worried about you this whole time.”
Miriam would not allow it, so Nancy began to persuade Barney.
Her brother had loved her since she was a child, and if she raised such a request, he would surely say yes.
Miriam gave her a pale look, not showing it in front of Barney, but with a warning in her eyes.
And Nellie felt this warning.
When Barney heard that Nancy was going to accompany him, he subconsciously glanced at Nellie and said with a smile on his lips, “With Nellie around, you don’t need to be so tired, go back.”
“It’s okay, and I’m worried that she won’t be able to take care of you at all.”
Nancy said in an urgent tone, not at all willing to leave.
And when Barney heard her speak so bluntly about Nellie, his eyes sank at this moment.
Miriam didn’t expect Nancy to be so blunt and gave her a fierce glare, “What’s wrong with you? Why are you worried with your sister-in-law around?”
“Mum.”
“Go out and wait for me.” Miriam said in a warning tone.
Nancy was reluctant, but when she met the anger in Miriam’s eyes, she didn’t dare to continue the scene after all.
Looking to Barney, she hoped that Barney would speak up for her. Whenever her mother gave her a hard time in the past when she was small, her brother would help her.
This time, however, she was wrong.
Barney didn’t even look at her, he and Nellie just stared at each other in front of her.
