Thea’s vacation was considerably short. She felt she only had a breath of fresh air, and the preparation of Heavenfall’s sequel had already begun.
There were only a couple of days before she went back to the crew. Caleb wanted to finish the shooting before October, and he didn’t want to waste any time at all since the first one was a major blockbuster.
Thea didn’t want to accept any roles from any movies since Heavenfall was now her priority. However, one day, Dylan suddenly sent her a script.
For their friendship, Thea decided to take a look under the strong recommendation of Dylan. However, the moment she flickered the first page, she couldn’t put the script down. It was so well-written and touching. Thea still had tears in her eyes after reading the whole story.
Wind & Dust was about the falling of a talented young girl from the 90s. It was an art film of high taste and a delicate storyline.
Thea fell in love with the role instantly. She knew the director as well, Antony Starks. He has won countless international awards. His talent was like no other.
Thea was not even 30 yet, but she had always wanted to change her style a bit. Wind & Dust could be a magnificent turn of her career.
The only problem was that Antony tended to have unrealistically high standards. for his actors. And art films usually cost a longer time. Some of them would even take three or four years to finish.
Thea didn’t want its schedule to bump with Heavenfall’s.
Antony wanted Thea to be in his film. His movies used to sell quite well. However, when commercial films started to rise, his films became harder and harder to sell. Thea was a good actor with tons of fans.
Using her would be his best option. That was why he reached Thea through Dylan.
Dylan himself also thought he came to a turning point in his career. He wanted to collaborate with Thea again to seek new breakthroughs in his acting.
Thea didn’t worry about acting and meeting Antony’s standards. The only concern she had was the schedule.
Cody knew how conflicted she felt right now. So he decided to read the script a bit to see if the film was worth any adjustment.
However, after reading through the whole thing, Cody became extremely pissed off. Not only the script included kiss scenes, but also it contained sex scenes.
Cody mustered his best manner to throw the script out of the window.
What the heck was this?!
“Forget about Wind & Dust. Just focus on Heavenfall.”
Cody seldom becomes overbearing. But when he turned bossy, he was the hardest piece of bone.
Thea, however, was also the type who would easily give up. “But this is such a great movie. You know I need this, Cody. I’ve done almost all sorts of commercial movies and dramas. I need a good art movie. After the last period drama we did, we decided that I wouldn’t accept any drama scripts anymore. I wanted to try to be a director after the shooting of Heavenfall. But I still feel a bit regretful that I didn’t have enough awards… So… I really, really need this one.”
Cody wanted to give in to seeing Thea being so determined. But he couldn’t nod when he thought about those sex scenes.
“Then what about the schedules,” Cody snapped coldly.
Thea fell back into the bed, “I’m worried about that as well.”
Cody didn’t say anything.
He wasn’t being petty, but imagining Thea lying in bed with another man made him want to kill someone.
Not to mention that man was Dylan Makovsky… that bastard!
Couldn’t he just leave his Thea alone?
The problem was that Dylan was also the male lead of Heavenfall. He was also facing the time of the schedule.
If it were before, Antony wouldn’t even remotely consider using these two people. However, for the sake of art, he still decided to compromise. He hosted a dinner party and invited Caleb, asking him to give the two great actors a couple of months. Caleb had been a friend of Antony.
As reluctant as he was, he decided to give in and made sure Antony could use Thea and Dylan first.
Thea and Dylan thus had ten months to complete the shooting of Wind & Dust. This period of time included the preparation of the crew. So the pure shooting of the film would only be 8 months.
Could they really finish the shooting in 8 months? Antony had high standards, after all.
Antony was a bit worried.
Caleb, however, patted him on his shoulder, trying to make him less worried, “If you’re thinking about the actors, then you really didn’t need to worry about that factor. The two people are perfect.”
Antony nodded, still feeling a bit unsure.
Now that the problem of the time had been solved, Thea immediately ended her vacation and started to work again.
Cody didn’t like this at all. Dylan didn’t want Cody to stop shooting the film, so he asked Cody out to have a talk.
Cody was not so petty as to meddle with his wife’s job for the simple reason that he was envious of her success. Nevertheless, he continued to caution Dylan during the altercation over the table to be aware of his limits.

One month later, the shooting of Wind & Dust began.
Thea and Dylan joined the crew at the appropriate moment. At the beginning of the story, Thea’s character is just a typical college freshman. The character that Dylan portrayed was a jovial French artist who had recently returned home.
In order for Thea to play this role, she had to reduce her weight.
When she first came up on the crew, she was already very thin, and she had the appearance of someone who a strong breeze could carry away. Her physical appearance, as well as her acting abilities, brought the character to life.
The director had a lot of admiration for the dynamic that existed between her and Dylan.
