Thea also went to the airport the next day with Mia and Cody. Before going to the security check, Mia suddenly approached Thea mysteriously, “Thea, you really should cherish the person right next to you.”
Thea was confused, “What do you mean?”
“I mean…” Mia cleared her throat, “Dylan is nice. But he’s not as successful as Cody. Cody’s like a prince charming for girls all over the country. He’s both rich and good-looking. Most importantly, he really cares about you.”
Thea went completely red after hearing what her little sister had told her. She could only nod, “I know… I… I will take care of that. You don’t need to worry about that matter.”
Mia pouted, “I’m being serious. Cody is perfect.”
Thea sighed, “I know. I will consider that. You take care on your way back.”
Mia nodded and leaned forward, hugging each of them before going to the security check.
Thea thought Cody didn’t hear the conversation. However, on their way back, Cody, with his hands on the steering wheel, suddenly said randomly, “You know… Mia might be a brat sometimes, but she’s actually right about me.”
Thea went furiously red.
Cody shot her a glance in the corner of his eyes and decided to spare her, “How many scenes do you need to finish totally?”
Thea let out a breath of relief, “20? | guess. We can probably go home next month.”
Cody nodded, “That’s pretty fast.”
They drove directly to the shooting site.
Thea was curious, “Have you guys found out who sent Summer to do that?”
Cody shrugged, “The police found 5 million on Summer’s account. It’s actually not hard to find out who made the transaction.”
Thea sighed, “I wonder who would want to do those things to a teenager. I don’t even know if it was one of my enemies. I hope it wasn’t.”
“Hey,” Cody’s hand extended to grab Thea’s smaller one, “What are you thinking? Don’t scare yourself. It would not be your fault, even if it was your enemies.”
Thea just nodded and went silent after that. She knew very clearly that it must have something to do with her. Cody opted to keep silent because he didn’t want her to be worried.
Thea went back to focusing on the shooting when they got back.
Now, she just wanted to finish her job, so she could return home to see her family. She missed them so much after staying a few months on the shooting site.
Soon the person who made the transaction was found out. It turned out that it was a man named Milton Harris. And he’d been living in Germany.
Cody was quite surprised after hearing that on the phone.
“Who is this person?” Cody asked.
The police officer answered, “He’s just a random man. We don’t know why he made the transaction paying a young girl to do such a vicious plan.”
“Well… You surely can find out his relationship with possible suspects. We don’t even know this person. Why would he have any motivation to harm Mia?”
The police officer sighed, “Of course. The investigation is still ongoing. We will inform you once we find something important, Mr. Bradley.”
“Thank you, I will appreciate it most if the bottom line of this case will be solved sooner,” Cody blurted out.

Mia went home.
Fritzi has no idea that something bad occurred when she was out. She walked to her daughter, asking curiously, “It puzzles me as to why you come back early. I thought you would spend a couple of more days there.”
Mia clung to her mom’s arm, “Thea’s still shooting a few scenes. I don’t want to interrupt her job.”
A smile showed up on Fritzi’s face as she noticed the way Mia talked about her sister.
“You guys finally get along now?” A surprised tone can be heard from Fritzi.
“What are you talking about?” Mia looked smugly at her mother’s face, “Thea’s my older sister. Why wouldn’t we get along?”
“Sister? Really? You’re calling her that way?” Fritzi was happy. She had never felt so glad before knowing that her girls hadn’t had a good relationship.
Drew looked shocked upon hearing Mia’s words too.
He couldn’t believe Mia had just changed her mind after going out on a trip.
Mia suddenly grew serious, “Mom, Dad. I know I’m wrong, okay? I’m sorry. This time I will be sincerely accepting Thea.”
Drew exchanged a look with Fritzi. Fritzi was stunned by Mia’s sudden change.
Mia cleared her throat, “Thea went through a lot after she was missing. You guys finally had her back recently, and I was throwing a tantrum. It was not fair at all. Thea went through so many hardships, and those people are still trying to destroy her. I feel so bad for her because she’s an amazing person. She doesn’t deserve to be treated that way. Moreover, I feel stupid for being jealous of her before. It won’t happen again. I promise. Thea is the best sister I could ever wish for. She helped me when I was in danger and never hesitated to protect me. I will treat her with the utmost respect she deserves when she comes back. You guys don’t need to worry about us anymore.”
The smile on Fritzi’s face was amazing and bright. She didn’t expect her little girl to be so smart and kind.
She thought it would take Mia at least a year to accept Thea as part of their family.
Fritzi was so proud of her daughters. Drew mirrored her smile, “I’m glad you finally realized it, Mia.”
Mia sighed, “And… I’d like to find a job this coming summer. I don’t want to waste my holidays anymore. I don’t want to do any internship in our companies. I want to go to a completely challenging environment to see if I can provide for myself.”
Drew patted Mia’s shoulder while his smile got bigger, “We’re so proud of you, sweetie.”
And then, he leaned forward and gave Mia a hug.
He knew if Mia was given time, she would come to realize a lot of matters about life.
