Thea didn’t return to her room until a rather late hour that evening. After locating the script, she began reading her lines with utmost concentration. It was ingrained in her routine to review all of the scenes she frequently did the night before the official filming began. When she closed her eyes, she still tried to recall the methods she would use the next day.
The scenes that Thea needed to shoot the following morning were, for the most part, romantic scenes, including at least one kissing scene.
She didn’t feel comfortable kissing the actor before Cody, and she didn’t have a good feeling about it. Therefore, she requested the director to make the necessary arrangements for this very early in the morning when Cody still hadn’t arrived at the location.
After Thea had made the necessary adjustments, the director yelled, “Action!”
She and the actor both professionally carried themselves. They did an excellent job by only making one edit to the scene.
When the scene was over, Thea gave a rather anxious glance around the room. She prayed that Cody wouldn’t notice that detail.
Cody had apparently sat in his car and watched the shooting for a while, but she was unaware of this fact.
He was worried about her safety, so he came earlier this morning. He felt so complicated as she shot the scene. He knew Thea had arranged this scene earlier this morning because she didn’t want him to see it.
That merely demonstrated how significant he was to her. On the other hand, Cody was unable to control his negative emotions when he considered the possibility that this kind of predicament would continue indefinitely if he chose to have a romantic relationship with this girl.
Why did his Demi have to be an actor?
Cody took a seat behind the wheel, and for the first time in his life, he experienced a sense of disorientation.
The scenes were wrapped up relatively quickly, and Thea could take her break in the afternoon after that.
She took the Bradleys to several beautiful sceneries of the city. Cody was there every step of the way to accompany them. Thea was the object of Mrs. Bradley’s undying adoration. Mr. Bradley wasn’t a talker. But the way he looked at Thea was also warm and gentle.
Linford thought Cody was the one who chose this woman to be his future wife. Even though the father and son were continuously at odds with one another, they could still lend support to one another when the situation called for it.
The time during the day went by very quickly.
Cody made a reservation for a suite at a nearby restaurant for them to have dinner.
Thea also joined them at the restaurant they had reserved as she didn’t have to film any night scenes during this time.
The food was mouthwateringly good in every way. While they ate, the family enjoyed each other’s company with the delicious meal.
Thea excused herself and left the table before the third course was brought to use the restroom.
On the other hand, when she emerged from the restroom, she noticed a woman approaching her in a direct manner.
The woman beamed when she recognized Thea and exclaimed delightedly, “Oh, Thea. What a lovely coincidence.”
When Thea took off her sunglasses, she finally recognized Yolanda’s face clearly.
“Holly?” When Thea saw her stepsister’s face, she couldn’t help but scowl. “Yeah… I guess it’s been a while,” she said.
When Holly overheard Thea still referring to her using the previous name, she snarled and exclaimed, “I’m NOT Holly! Don’t you dare address me by that moniker! I am now known as Yolanda.”
Thea shrugged her shoulders and replied, “Whatever you say.”
“But… you’re not doing yourself badly, are you?” Yolanda’s face, which was heavily covered with makeup, contorted into a sneer as she said, “I heard you found yourself a powerful supporter.”
Supporter?
Thea looked disapprovingly at the phrase. What was the implication of her statement?
“Yolanda, you should know that not everyone in this group requires a supporter.”
“Ugh, save me from having to give this speech, Thea,” Yolanda rolled her eyes and asked with a raised eyebrow, “Are you trying to tell me that you are getting today’s success without spreading your legs?”
A glimmer of a smile played over Thea’s lips as she said, “Yes, Yolanda, I am telling you that right now. I got where I am today by putting in a lot of effort. But I suppose you are the one who is spreading your legs now that you’ve earned a reputation for yourself.”
“What kind of reputation is that?” Yolanda’s eyes were blazing with anger as she demanded, “Explain it, you bitch!”
Thea gave her a friendly grin and said, “You’re already furious enough; I doubt my explanation will please you.”
Yolanda shouted at Thea, “Don’t act so smug; because the higher you fly, the harder you will crash down?” Yolanda was referring to the fact that Thea was getting arrogant.
“Oh, really? Guess we will have to see,” Thea responded without flinching.
“Honey, where have you been all this time?” A filthy voice cut in.
Yolanda fiercely looked up and noticed Kaine’s fat figure approaching them.
Yolanda was only here tonight at this restaurant to have dinner with Kaine. And she did not anticipate bumping into Thea in the same place.
Thea’s gaze darted back and forth between Yolanda and Kaine as she mused, “Interesting,” before she flicked her hair and walked away.
Yolanda gritted her teeth in anger. She wanted to take Thea’s gorgeous long hair and rip it out of her head. However, that was not possible.
Kaine didn’t know what had just happened. He was just aware that Thea looked at him briefly before she left the room. And those stunning eyes that were reminiscent of a cat almost made him lose his breath.
When Thea walked down the corridor, he couldn’t help but gaze lustfully at her as she passed.
He had seen enough beautiful girls. But none of them, not even his Yolanda, could compare to the stunning beauty of that woman.
Yolanda observed Kaine staring at Thea and realizing what he was doing, making her feel even more uncomfortable.
Even though it was only one glimpse, this obese pig reacted like his soul had been ripped out of him.
Yolanda gave it some thought for a moment, and then an unpleasant thought began to form in her head.
The fact that this pig appeared to have a crush on Thea Todd makes it possible for Yolanda to consider allowing him to damage that bitch in the same way he ruined her.
“Honey, what exactly are you focusing on there?” Yolanda took hold of Kaine’s sleeve and whimpered to him, “You forgot me as soon as you saw another pretty girl.”
With a raunchy chuckle, Kaine asked, “What are you talking about, sweetie? How could I possibly forget about you?”
With a grin, Yolanda said, “Come on. You can confide in me about anything. Aren’t you interested in learning more about that girl?”
The light in Kaine’s eyes flickered, and he asked, “You know who she is?”
