Chapter 485: I’m Having A Lot Of Fun Here

Cody sent Daisy and Thea back to their hotel, and he checked in to the nearest suite next to them.
Thea woke up earlier in the morning the next day to do her job.
And then, just as she expected, Mia brought her friends to the site right after the shooting started.
The director knew the girl was the major investor’s daughter. So he didn’t say much about this.
“Wow! That is Thea Todd, look!” One of the girls exclaimed.
“It’s really her. She looks even prettier off the camera.”
Summer, Mia’s closest friend, pulled a face, “What’s wrong with you guys? Don’t you guys remember what we came here to do today?”
The other two girls went silent, too scared to speak anymore. They turned to look at Mia.
Mia walked over with a fake smile on her face, “Thea, is it okay that I came to visit you?”
Thea smiled and nodded, “Of course.”
Mia shrugged, “Well… Since nobody knows who you really are. I’ll just call you Thea here. I hope you won’t mind.”
Thea nodded, “No problem. But privacy on the site is quite important. I hope you guys can keep it quiet when the shooting begins later. Don’t make any loud sound.”
Mia nodded, “Of course. We just want to watch.”
With that, she just turned around and walked away.
Daisy was pretty angry. So this girl just came to the site to impede Thea’s work just because she was the daughter of the biggest investor? This was bullying!
But Thea was such a sweet girl. If it were other celebrities, they would have thrown a tantrum and refused to work when things like this happened.
Those girls would have been kicked out the minute they set foot on the site.
“Alright. Let’s get started. All departments stand by,” Ryan yelled through a speaker with a grim look on his face.
Thea went to complete the makeup. When she came back to the site, she was in a grey suit dress, and she looked elegant and formal. This was a scene where she visited her old house.
In this part, she needed to pull out her full boss energy. The cameras would follow her when she walked fast and confidently down the corridor.
Someone needed to say hi to her out of the camera when she walked by, and Thea needed to smile back. The cameras needed to capture the subtle change on her face.
“Action!”
Thea’s heels clicked against the floor as she walked down the hallway. She entered her role quite soon, as always. And she was no doubt a successful CEO for the camera.
And then, a fit of laughter suddenly burst among the girls on the verge of the site.
The shooting was forced to stop. “What the heck was that?” Ryan was so pissed off.
Mia put a hand on her friend’s shoulder, “We were talking about a job. Sorry for that. Thea. We didn’t do it on purpose. You will forgive us… right?”
Everyone’s eyes were directed toward Thea. Ryan’s face fell.
Thea said, “I won’t be mad, but your friend just interrupted the shooting. She owes the crew members an apology.”
Summer was not happy to hear that, “An apology? It’s not even that big of a deal. Why should I apologize?” For her, no matter how popular Thea was, she was just a circus monkey.
Mia, however, was the daughter of the Weston family. She would have billions after her parents passed away. Her house was one of the Major Four Houses of their city. Summer could tell how much Mia disliked this little actress. So she decided to teach Thea a lesson for her best friend.
“It is a big deal. This is our job. You need to apologize,” Thea insisted.
Mia took a step forward, “Come on, Thea. Summer didn’t mean to do that. Just go back to work and stop hovering over this issue.”
Thea didn’t agree, “If she refuses to apologize, then she should probably go. Breaking the privacy of the site is unforgivable. Everyone working here knows that.”
“Fine! I will apologize. I’m sooo sorry. Are you happy now?” Summer rolled her eyes. The other two girls who came with them already became a bit embarrassed by now.
“Please keep it very quiet from now on,” Thea said before turning away.
Ryan was getting sick and tired of these girls. These rich girls hadn’t worked for one day in their lives. And they probably would never need to work. They had no idea how hard life was, and they had no respect for other people.
Daisy got angry after she saw the commotion. This Mia was doing all these nasty things on purpose, she thought.
But why hadn’t Cody shown up, though?
He promised to come.
If their Boss were here, those little girls wouldn’t have been so bold!

Meanwhile, however, Cody was standing in the corner of the site, watching silently as his eyes grew cold.
Mia was crossing the line. He had the heart to help Thea with this, but Thea said yesterday that she wanted to handle things her way.
This made Cody feel extremely awful.
The second scene began. Thea was in her best state, walking slowly out of the door while hugging herself against the cold. However, a sharp scream broke the atmosphere.
Ryan threw the script to the ground. He took in a deep breath before he turned to face Mia, “Miss Weston, our site has limited range. There’s nothing fun to play with on my site. There are a lot of beautiful sights and sceneries in this city. I can arrange you guys a car immediately. Why don’t you go with your friends and go have some real fun?”
Mia rolled her eyes, “This city’s boring. I saw enough yesterday. I just want to stay here. Besides…” The girl looked at Thea mockingly with her arms folded before her chest, “I’m having a lot of fun here.”
Thea didn’t look as kind and nice as a couple of minutes before, her voice carried harshly and coldly across the hall, “If you don’t want to obey the rules here, Mia, you need to piss off immediately. You’re interrupting our shooting!”
Mia smiled coldly, “Are you telling me to leave this site right away? How does it feel when some nasty people show up in your place without your permission? I bet you know how it feels!”
