“I’m asking you why Dad decided to pull out his investment from the drama! Don’t you guys know how important the show is to me?” Holly sounded extremely pissed off.
May was standing beside her, too timid to tell her to keep it down.
Fiona put her cup of coffee on the table, “Your dad never mentioned it. I’ll ask him for you. Just a second.”
Fiona walked to John’s office. John was handling files, “Honey, did you pull out of the investment from Holly’s movie?”
John looked up, sounding utterly confused, “I don’t think so… Why would I pull out the investment?”
“Then why did Holly just tell me that the shooting was halted?” Fiona thought, got a pause, and handed her phone to John, “Would you talk to her about this?”
“Hello, sweetie?” John had always been quite affectionate with this stepdaughter of his, “What’s wrong?”
“Daddy! Why did those people halt my drama? They said the budget had been drained out, and the investors had run off. Aren’t you an investor?” Holly tried to contain her anger, but her voice was still shaking.
John cooed, “Don’t be nervous, sweetheart. I’m checking the whole thing out soon. I will call you later.”
“Thank you, Daddy,” Holly whined.
John called his assistant, and his assistant figured out the whole thing pretty fast. John was utterly surprised to know that the company he built for Holly was purchased by someone else. As the boss, he was somehow the last to know!
John was both scared and regretful. He lost almost 10 million in this venture. He couldn’t help but ask Fiona, “Would you call Holly again? Did she offend some big figures? Or why would our company be forcefully purchased?”
“What do you mean?” Fiona was stunned.
John explained the whole thing shortly and shook his head, “10 million evaporated just like that.”
Fiona was also a bit scary. But she was worried that someone would bully Holly. So she called her daughter after that, “Holly, there’s something I want to tell you… You must stay very calm when I tell you this, okay?”
“WHAT?! Someone purchased my company?! So… My boss is a different man now, and I don’t even know who he is?” Holly screamed on the other side of the phone. How could her stepfather be so stupid? She was framed, yet she didn’t even know who did it to her.
Fiona tried to remind her, “Don’t get mad, sweetie. You need to calm down first. Your dad wants to know if you offended someone recently. You know… the showbiz industry is cutting-throat. Did you recently become an enemy of the wrong person? I’m not trying to blame you. I just need to know.”
Holly faltered, and her eyes grew dark, “I know what happened, Mom. It must be Thea that we must find a way to ruin my career! Mom, haven’t I told you guys to make the crew kick Thea Todd out of that show? Why is she still part of that competition?”
Fiona sighed heavily, “Your dad and I have kicked her mother and grandma out of the house. But those stupid sluts refused to call Thea and ask her to quit the show. We’ve tried everything we could. There’s really nothing we can do to force them.”
‘Fucking useless!’ Holly cursed inwardly. But she managed to melt her anger when she spoke again, “Okay… Get it. I’m a bit busy right now. I’ll call you later.”
“Wait… Honey… You said Thea managed to find a way to ruin your show. Did she find a sugar daddy in the business world or a powerful benefactor?” Fiona gossiped.
“That is the only possibility, Mom. That bitch has no money, after all. She must have climbed on countless men’s beds to get where she is right now. Fucking filthy.” Holly sneered.
Fiona laughed, “I get it now. She looks all cute and innocent before the cameras, but she’s secretly a prostitute. I bet she has all sorts of STDs. Honey, don’t learn from her. You can still return home and be our princess if you can’t make it in this business industry. You’re different from those broken girls. You’re better than them. So, don’t do anything stupid, okay?”
Holly was still furious. She hummed okay before hanging up the phone, but anger grew inside her heart.
“Did you hear what Holly said? That good daughter of yours is selling herself to climb higher. How disgusting!” Fiona spat as she looked at her husband.
John didn’t expect Thea to sink so low to get famous. He was also quite enraged about it. But come to think of it, Thea even refused to take “Gordon” as her last name. He thus felt better, “My daughter? I only have one daughter, and it is our Holly.”
A big smile showed up on Fiona’s face as she heard that. She looked at her husband affectionately, “Well… That’s some words a good father should say. Just find a way to open a new company for our daughter. So she can start the shooting of her show again.”
John nodded and went to get the thing down.
Holly was still mad even though she knew her parents would solve this. She thus turned to May, hissing, “How could you be so stupid? Don’t you know how to do your job? Do you still want your and your parents’ jobs or not?”
“I’m sorry… Miss…” May cried and stammered, “I cut her dress… I promise… But I don’t know why there isn’t any news.”
Did that bitch’s sugar daddy cover her up again? Holly clenched her teeth. And then, she had another idea. “You go find some naked photos and change their faces into Thea! You have to make them very real and ensure they’re spread all over the internet. Do you get it?”
May was shaking, “Are you sure, Miss? BIt’s against the law.”
Holly threatened the poor girl, and May instantly shut up.
May leave the trailer and grabbed her laptop. She learned basic photoshop before, so she just found a couple of naked photos of porn stars, merging those photos with Thea’s face before posting them online.
She made up some filthy history of Thea and posted the article with those photos altogether. The thread was reposted a thousand times in a minute. Thea’s fans knew it was fake, so they tried to report the threads. But they couldn’t stop Thea’s anti-fans from smearing her up under the post.
“I heard Thea Todd let her boobs out on purpose during the photo shoot. She’s an insane slut.”
