Chapter 412: Fake Concern

Book:TEMPTING The Mysterious CEO Published:2024-5-31

Thea became the target overnight. Her fans were battling Paris’s fans on the Internet. Some of Paris’s fans dug out Thea’s old pictures, saying she had done countless plastic surgeries. All the news about her on the Internet was negative.
No girl in the building would know what those people said because their phones had been taken away. But Tiffany was different. She kept a phone secretly.
She was happy to see all those things about Thea on the Internet, but she was the only one who had a phone.
Thea clearly wouldn’t be able to read those comments. Tiffany wanted to make her see them. If Thea hasn’t seen it, she will lose a lot of fun.
So she pretended to be angry as she gasped audibly, “Oh my gosh! Thea… People are saying shit about you on the Internet. They said it was your fault that Paris was sent to the hospital.”
Thea was lying in bed. She huffed, “Interesting… How did they even jump to that conclusion? I didn’t even see her before the stage. How come I was the one who caused her diarrhea?”
Jessica’s eyes widened at the news, “What did they say exactly?”
Tiffany rolled over on her bed, “I can tell you, guys, what those people comment say… But you can’t tell anyone that I have a phone. I don’t want the director to take away this one as well. This one cost me a lot.”
Thea rolled her eyes secretly. She had seen this pink phone already. Tiffany even used it to receive that cheating message last time.
But she felt she shouldn’t be the one who exposed her. Besides, she still has a competition tomorrow. She couldn’t let those foul comments ruin her mood and demolish her confidence.
Those comments wouldn’t do her any good. They would only affect her when she went onto the stage.
So she changed the topic, “Tiffany, I don’t really want to listen to what people say against me.”
Tiffany pretended that she didn’t hear anything, starting to read those comments one by one.
She knew these comments could easily break Thea, which was exactly her goal.
Things only got worse the next day. Paris’s fans went crazy. They spammed the comment section under the official account with foul curses about Thea, saying that Thea Todd needed to apologize to Paris immediately.
Some extreme fans even tried to find out Thea’s address, sending her death threats.
“This is bullshit!” Candace roared while pacing back and forth, “Thea didn’t even do anything! How could Paris’s fans attack her crazily on the Internet? This must be Paris’s PR trying to divert people’s attention from her humiliating scandal! They need someone to share the firepower. Cody! Are you gonna do something or not?”
Cody looked quite calm, sitting before his desk, reading a piece of newspaper, “Paris just got a new agent. That man is pretty good. And he has some really strong connections in this business.”
“Are you kidding me right now, Cody? Are you telling me that you’re scared of Paris’s new agent?”
Cody put down the newspaper, smiled, and leaned back in his chair, “When did I ever get scared of anyone before?”
Candace pouted her tiny lips, halting her pace, “Then why didn’t you strike out immediately? Thea is our friend. We need to help her.”
Cody sat up straight, long fingers drumming the table, “Why are you so anxious, Candace? Be patient and wait. There will be a splendid show soon, I promise. Paris Dunn loves dramas, right? She will get what she asked for.”

“Holy, even Rachel Smith tweeted about Thea? Thea! Rachel Smith just posted a tweet about you! Yes! That Rachel Smith who just won an Oscar lately.” Tiffany was still live-streaming all the bad comments about Thea in the dorm in the disguise of being a caring roommate. Thea was gonna throw up.
“Really? Wow.” Jessica cooperated, “What did she say?”
“She said, ‘Thea Who?” Tiffany answered immediately.
Beth took Tiffany’s phone and took a closer look before throwing it in bed, frowning in disgust.
Thea Who?
It was not a question. It was clearly a mockery. Paris’s fans swarmed down the comment section to celebrate.
“I’d like to let Thea’s fans see this. Who the fuck is Thea Todd? Does she have any presentable work or songs? She hasn’t even become a star yet, but she’s already so annoying. The Queen just taught her a lesson!”
“LOL! Did you guys see it? The Best Actress is also sick and tired of Thea Todd’s bullshit. Thea’s dogs need to back off now!”
“What kind of person is Thea Todd exactly? She hasn’t made her official debut yet, but she’s already so annoying. Will those companies even hire her to endorse their products when everyone hates her?”
“Thea’s dogs think every woman in this world is jealous of their master. Hello? The Best Actress just showed her attitude. Be gone already!”
“My day just got ten-time better after seeing this post from Rachel. Arrogant bastards like Thea Todd should be taught a lesson!”
The dorm fell silent after Tiffany read those comments. Thea knew she shouldn’t feel bad about these stupid comments, but she just couldn’t help herself.
She didn’t expect Paris to have so many friends. She didn’t know how Paris made Rachel a member of her team, but Rachel was her favorite actress.
“Some other celebrities just retweeted Rachel’s tweet. It’s trending now,” Tiffany said, faking a worried tone, “What are you gonna do, Thea?”
Tiffany was secretly happy. If the Internet boycotted Thea, she would definitely get a better chance.
Jessica frowned as she stared at the screen of Tiffany’s phone, “Thea, I think other girls’ fans are attacking you as well. They said you were arrogant and disrespectful. And Paris just posted a tweet just now.”
Paris? Thea frowned as she walked over, “What did she say?”
“She asked the fans to stay calm and not fight other people because of her.” Tiffany sighed as she gave the phone to Thea.
Thea took the phone without any hesitation. Paris just posted a picture from the hospital. She was wearing a hospital gown in that photo, looking pale and vulnerable. She even posted a short tweet acting pitiful.
“Thanks for being so sweet and considerate, guys. I feel so much better now. Please be nice and gentle to each other. I know my fans. You guys are the sweetest people in the world, and I know you can be a better person even though other people have been trying to harm you or slander you. Remember, you are the strongest people in the world, and you have so much love to give. Spread love, not hate. Love, from Paris.”
