Cristelle happened to hear that as she walked by. She shook her head as she rubbed Candace’s little nose, “Can we be lowkey about it, sweetie?”
Candace nodded, smiling. “problem, Mommy.” But she refused to stop texting Drew.
Enzo came back in the afternoon. Cody’s eyes lit up the moment he saw Enzo from the garden. The boy put down his toy gun and ran over, “Uncle Enzo!”
Enzo put the gifts down and picked the boy up, “Cody boy!”
Candace also followed. Enzo picked the girl up as well, bouncing them in his arms, “You two all grew studier when we were away, huh?”
“Good afternoon, Uncle Enzo,” Candace smiled at him.
“Good afternoon to you, little princess,” Enzo smiled back.
“I need to tell you a secret,” Candace hushed her voice.
“Yeah? What is it?” Enzo hushed his voice as well.
“Candace,” Cody warned his sister, frowning.
“What? Uncle Enzo is also family,” Candace pouted.
Cody rolled his eyes and shook his head.
“Uncle Enzo, Dad proposed to Mom and Mom accepted the ring,” Candace said with a voice she thought was low enough.
But Lily and Franco were sitting not far from them. Franco stood up from his bench instantly, “What?”
“Oh my god, Candace.” Cody sighed.
“Did Linford finally propose to you, Cristelle?” Franco seemed thrilled as he turned to look at Cristelle.
Cristelle nodded, face furiously red.
Franco looked so happy, “Good. This is good! When are you guys gonna hold the wedding?”
Cristelle’s eyes flew to Linford. Linford walked over and snaked an arm around Cristelle’s shoulder, “As fast as possible, preferably. We actually want to hold the wedding next month.”
“Then we only have 15 days to get everything prepared,” Franco seemed more enthusiastic than anyone, “Jack? Jack! Would you help Cristelle with the whole thing?”
Jack smiled widely, “Of course, Sir. I will make it splendid.”
Linford, however, had already had everything planned out, “Pop, Jack had already had enough on his plate. I’ve already sent Alfred to take care of it.”
Franco knew Alfred was a smart man. He felt at ease after hearing that Linford had given the job to Alfred.
The old man nodded. He hadn’t felt so happy for a while.

The babies went to school the next day as usual. Linford told the babies before they left the house that they couldn’t tell other people about the wedding.
Cody understood his intention. He thus bore it in mind.
Candace, however, couldn’t hold the secret back. This was such a wonderful piece of news. She felt pity that she couldn’t share it with her friends.
The girl stopped Amy, and when the school was about to dismiss, “Guys. I want to tell you guys a secret. But you guys can’t tell other kids.”
Amy and Thomas nodded, “What is it, Candace?”
“Mom and Dad are gonna…”
“Candace!” Cody suddenly showed up.
“What are you doing?”
“Nothing,” Candace stuck her tongue.
“Hurry up. Let’s go,” Cody sighed as he took his little sister’s hand, “Mommy’s still waiting outside.”
Meanwhile, in a black Clydetley pulled over by the road, Lana was glaring at the two babies as they walked out of their school hand in hand.
She couldn’t stop thinking about what Clara had told her.
“Linford is about to marry that bitch, and they’re planning their wedding right now. Do you really want to give up, Linford? Don’t forget, Lana. That baby inside your belly is also a Bradley! You should at least fight for him.”
A Bradley member?
Lana caressed her belly as her face went cold.
Now that she had come back, she wouldn’t leave without Linford this time. She was the only woman who was good enough for Linford.
That bitch, she didn’t deserve to be Mrs. Bradley!
Stomping on the gas, Lana gunned out her car.
Lana managed to dodge Cristelle’s car at the last minute.
Cristelle was sitting in the driver’s seat at this moment. However, she suddenly had a bad feeling as she turned around to look.
“What’s wrong, Mommy?” Cody arched an eyebrow.
Cristelle started her car, “Nothing, sweetie. Let’s go home.”
Cody looked out of the window and squinted.
And then, he pulled Candace near to him, “Candace, you didn’t mention to anyone about the wedding in school, did you?”
Candace went a bit nervous as she shook her head, “Nope. I haven’t told anyone yet.”
Cody let out a breath, “Good. Just don’t mention that to anyone, okay?”
Why? It was a good thing, wasn’t it?
Candace couldn’t understand the reason, but she still nodded, “Okay. I’ll keep it a secret.”

Cristelle sent the babies to school the next day. And then, she drove to Linford’s company.
Meanwhile, Lana went to their house when Cristelle and the babies were away. Lana was wearing a loose white hoodie to cover her belly. Her face was cold and determined as Lily held open the door.
Franco was surprised to see her, “Lana? Why are you here?”
“Pop, I have something significant to tell you.” Lana cleared her throat as she walked in.
Franco was smiling politely, “It’s always lovely to see you, Lana. I have great news to tell you. Linford is gonna marry Cristelle soon. Their wedding will be held next month. Come in and take a seat. Do you want tea or coffee? Lily, get the girl something to drink.”
Lana could tell what the old was trying to say.
She smiled as she sat on the couch, “No coffee, please. I’m actually pregnant, Pop. And the baby is Linford’s.”
The smile on Franco’s face disappeared. And then, he shook his head, “Impossible. I know the boy too well. He loves Cristelle too much. He will never cheat. Besides, he’s treating you as his own little sister.”
Lana smacked the DNA test report on the table, “Pop, you know I would never dare to lie to you.”
Pop went pale as he took the report.
Lana was right. She was two months pregnant, and the baby was indeed Linford’s.
The time was also right. She came back two months ago.
“Pop, the baby in my belly is also your great-grandchild,” Lana said softly.
Franco felt so complicated at the moment. He had never expected anything like this to happen.
But how did this happen? Linford was a good kid. He would never cheat on the woman he loved. This must be some misunderstanding.
“Lana, you know Linford as well as I do. Planting such a misdeed on his head will only lead you to misery. I bet you also know that, don’t you?” Franco still sounded gentle and confused. Yet Lana could detect something threatening from his tone.
