Chapter 195
It was morning and Another day to be precise. Alfred had woken up so early and prepared breakfast for the kids. He woke them up and got dressed for school. After that, he served them breakfast.
“Daddy when is mommy coming home?” Isabella asked. Alfred had told the kids that Lisa was with their grandma in the hospital as their grandma wasn’t feeling so well.
“Daddy, grandma is going to be fine right?” Arabella asked, looking worried. She loved Mrs. Rebecca the first time she saw her. And the way she played with her, she just prays and hopes she is fine.
“Daddy, can we go see her at the hospital after school?” Annabella asked
“She’s going to be fine and mommy will bring her home when she’s been discharged. So, eat your food so I can drop you at school. You guys do not want to be late” Alfred said and the kids nodded obediently. They didn’t say a word after that as they focused on their food.
After they were done eating, they all walked out of the house and hopped into the car while Alfred dropped them at school.
After that, he went back to the hotel.
He planted a soft knock on the door and Daniel opened the door with a towel tied around his waist.
“Oh!! You are here” Daniel said as he smiled at Alfred.
“Yeah, how are you feeling?” Alfred asked as he walked inside the room.
“I’m feeling different and okay. All thanks to you. Thank you for yesterday, I appreciate ” Daniel said and Alfred smiled at him. He then noticed he had taken his bath but he didn’t have anything to wear.
“It’s nothing. You can take one of my clothes from my wardrobe and put it on” Alfred said and Daniel smiled. Seems like Alfred had read his mind because he was about to ask him for a change of clothes, Daniel thought.
Daniel walked towards his wardrobe, opened it, and picked a pair of Jeans and a shirt. After he put it on, he went inside the bathroom and dropped the towel.
“How long have you been staying in this hotel?” Daniel asked
“Oh, it’s been over a month,” Alfred said and Daniel nodded in response.
“It’s a nice and comfy place,” Daniel said as he sat beside Alfred on the bed.
“Yeah” Alfred muttered in response.
“So, you going to see your mom and Lisa?” Alfred asked and Daniel nodded.
“Yeah, I can’t keep hiding from the truth. It’s time to face my real family” Daniel said with a shrug and Alfred smiled.
“I can’t believe you’re gonna be my Brother in law, in-fact we are already in-laws. My twin sister has quadruplets for you” Daniel said and laughed, making Alfred chuckle.
“You know for some time I have been questioning myself why Lisa never loved me the way she loves you. Maybe she felt that connection but I was just too blinded with lust not to see a thing.
I’m glad you punched the hell outta me the day I tried taking advantage of her” Daniel said and Alfred smiled.
“It’s not your fault Daniel. Lisa is a beautiful woman. Who wouldn’t see her and fall in love with her? I believe all that is in the past now, so let’s talk about the future” Alfred said and Daniel laughed and touched him on his shoulder then stood up.
Just as he was about to leave, Alfred called his name and he turned to him. Alfred stood up and walked towards him.
“I just wanted to apologize for what happened in the past. I was so blinded that I didn’t see you were saying the truth about Rhoda. I’m so sorry. I know things cannot go back the way they used to, but I hope you give me a chance to prove to you that I’m a changed person, ” Alfred said and Daniel smiled as he put his hands on Alfred’s shoulder.
“All that is in the past now. I still see you as my best friend that’s why I called you yesterday when I needed someone to talk to. All that happened now is in the past and I forgive you. As you said, let’s forget the past and talk about the future.
Wanna come with me to see my mom?” He asked and Alfred nodded in response with a smile on his face.

A black sporty car screeched to a halt in front of the hospital. Daniel and Alfred alighted the car and were about to walk inside the hospital when Alfred’s phone rang.
He brought out the phone from his pocket and checked the caller’s ID and he saw it was Alfred. Daniel turned to him, giving him the look “who is calling?”
“It’s Andrew. I’ll meet you Inside, I should answer this” Alfred said and Daniel nodded before walking inside the hospital.
Immediately, he got to the ward Lisa and her mom were in. He took a deep breath before opening the door to the ward where he saw Lisa and her mom, Mrs. Rebecca talking.
Mrs. Rebecca’s eyes drifted to the door as she heard it open and to her surprise, she saw Daniel.
“Daniel” she called out as she saw him. A smile crept onto her face while tears gathered in her eyes.
She remembered when the nurse told her he was dead. At first, she didn’t want to believe it but she later did when she saw the dead body.
“Mommy” Daniel Called as he smiled out of tears. He moved toward Mrs. Rebecca and then hugged her so tight. The tears they’ve both been holding for a long time, they finally let go.
She couldn’t believe her son was alive. It was truly him. She could not believe it, Mrs. Rebecca, though as her heart leaped in joy.
She pulled away from the hug and stared at Daniel deep in the eyes. It was then it dawned on her that Daniel was a replica of his late husband, Mr. Cranston.
More tears slipped down her cheeks. She just wished her husband was still alive to see that their son never died and he was now a grown man.
“Mom” Daniel called out as he wiped her tears and then pulled her into a warm hug.
Lisa who sat beside her mom was already in tears as she watched both her mom and Twin brother. She couldn’t believe After everything, Daniel was his twin.
“Come here Twin sister,” Daniel said and Lisa smiled out of tears. She moved towards them and they did a group hug.
