Is this the marriage paper and has Daniel signed it? Oh no,” Lisa muttered as fear ran down her spine.
“Lisa” Mrs. Bella called as she walked towards Lisa smiling.
“Hi ma’am,” Lisa said as she forced herself to smile.
“Hey Lisa ” Mrs. Bella’s lawyer, Davina waved at Lisa who smiled at her.
“I’ll be on my way now Mrs. Bella,” Davina said
“I’ll see you at the door. I’ll be back Lisa ” Mrs. Bella said Lisa nodded. She watched as the both of them walked out of the house.
“Aunty Lisa I have a lot to tell you about, I made new friends over there,” Nova said happily and Lisa forced herself to smile at her. She knew nova had missed her and she missed her too but right now she wasn’t in the mood to listen to her. She’s got a lot of things to worry about.
“Nova, you can go to your room and wait for me. I’ll be there in a jiffy, I need to speak with mommy ” Lisa said as she saw Mrs. Bella walk back inside the house.
“Yes, Aunt” Nova said as she ran upstairs to her room.
Lisa sighed softly as she moved towards Mrs. Bella but then a woman about Mrs. Bella’s age moved and stood in front of her. Mrs. Bella hugged her. They seemed to know each other, Lisa thought as Mrs. Bella and the woman walked away.
She needed to know if the lawyer came because of the marriage and did Daniel sign any papers. She just wanted to know and she thought it would be best if she asked Daniel.
She climbed upstairs to Daniel’s room to search for him and to her surprise, he wasn’t there. She decided to check outside the house. Maybe it would be better if she told him the truth that they are both related by blood! No, it will cause a lot of trouble and he might begin to question Mrs. Bella, Lisa thought as she climbed down the stairs.
Just then she caught a glimpse of Daisy and her mom Mrs. Rebecca walking inside the house. They were both looking so elegant in their beautiful dresses. They stood staring around and just then Daniel walked out of the kitchen and walked toward them.
“Oh! He’s been inside the kitchen. I wonder what he’s doing there” Lisa thought as she watched Daniel hug her mom. Daisy was staring at Daniel nervously, just then Daisy and Daniel both walked away. She’s sure Daisy wants to tell him about the Pregnancy.
She sighed softly and moved toward her mom, Mrs. Rebecca who was standing all alone by herself staring around.
“Lisa” Mrs. Rebecca called out with a surprised look on her face. She didn’t expect to see Lisa here.
“Hi ma’am ” Lisa muttered as she moved towards her giving Mrs. Rebecca a cool hug.
“How are you?” Mrs. Rebecca asked smiling
“I’m okay,” Lisa responded.
“I didn’t see you again yesterday. You didn’t tell me you were leaving” Mrs. Rebecca said and Lisa felt so sad. It wasn’t her fault, it was all Daisy’s fault. She didn’t want her to take her mom out.
She was acting selfish all of a sudden.
“I’m so sorry Ma’am, I didn’t intend to leave like that but something came up” Lisa lied. She hated the fact that she was lying but she just doesn’t want her to know it was Daisy who didn’t want her close to her.
“It’s alright, I’m glad you are here. You didn’t bring the quadruplets with you?” Mrs. Rebecca asked scrutinizing the whole area to see if he’ll get a glimpse of the quadruplets.
“Uhm, no. They are at school” Lisa said and Mrs. Rebecca nodded in response.
Just then Mrs. Bella walked in searching for Lisa. She needed to talk to her about the marriage between her and Daniel. She has spoken to her lawyer already and she’s preparing the necessary documents.
Just then she caught a glimpse of Lisa speaking with a woman with a smile on her face. She looked quite happy while talking with the woman. This made Mrs. Bella wondered who the woman Lisa was talking to.
She quickly waved off the thoughts. It was none of her business Anyways. She just needed to speak with her about the marriage and that was all, Mrs. Bella thought as she walked towards Lisa.
“Lisa” she called and Lisa raised her head.
“Mrs. Bella,” Lisa called in response.
“Who is she?” Mrs. Bella asked as she stared at Mrs. Rebecca from behind. Lisa would love to introduce her as her mom but it would cause a lot of confusion and explanation. She was not ready for that.
Swiftly, Mrs. Rebecca turned to Mrs. Bella as she heard that familiar voice. Immediately Mrs. Bella saw Mrs. Rebecca, she opened her eyes and mouth in shock and she almost lost Balance.
“Rebecca, ” Mrs. Bella called out. She couldn’t believe it was her or she was probably dreaming.
Immediately Mrs. Rebecca saw Mrs. Bella she felt flashes come running into her head but they weren’t clear. And just when she called out her name Rebecca more flashes came rushing in and were gradually becoming clear which made her headache so bad.
She could hear voices from the background, someone calling her name but suddenly everywhere became calm as she could only hear and see the voices coming from her head.
“Common Bella, you’re gonna have a baby and that’s for sure. You’ll surely be happy.
I’m so lucky to have you as a friend, Rebecca.
We are moving out, Rebecca.
I’m going to miss you.
Mommy!! Lisa Sweetheart I’m here now, no one is going to hurt you, everything is going to be fine.

“Mommy, mommy” She heard Daisy’s voice bringing her back to reality and suddenly she closed her eyes and lost consciousness.
