Chapter 145
He answered the phone call and Daniel had told him to Come inside the office with Dina.
“Let’s go inside,” Williams said as he held Dina’s hands and helped her stand up from the chair she was sitting on. They both walked in and just as they walked in, the doctor was about to leave.
He had bandaged Lisa’s leg. Dina scoffed. Lisa’s injury on the leg was just a minor one that would heal in days, she wondered why Daniel would ask the doctor to bandage it. He cares about her a lot.
“It’s almost getting late, Dina, you should take Lisa home,” Daniel said and Dina nodded in response.
“I’ll take her to the car,” Daniel said as he carried Lisa in a bridal car to the car outside the company.
After Lisa had left, Daniel walked back to his office obviously in deep thought.
“What are you gonna do now boss?” Williams asked
“She isn’t planning on giving Alfred a chance. This is my chance to make her love me and make her kids love me too not just as their uncle but as their father.
I’m not going to give up until I make Lisa mine” Daniel said and Williams scoffed hard. He stared at his boss with pity in his eyes.
Daniel couldn’t win Lisa’s heart 7 years ago, he wondered how he was going to do it now. He was blinded by love that he did not see the truth standing in front of him, Williams thought.

After Dina had dropped Lisa home she went home.
Lisa is seen entering the house with her leg bandaged. She met the kids and Alfred in the sitting room. The quadruplets were all holding a book in their hands. Lisa recognized that book, it was their reading note. Stories and lots of things were written in the book.
They hadn’t noticed Lisa had walked inside the house. They were so engrossed with what they were doing. When they noticed Lisa’s presence the quadruplets screamed at once in unison making Lisa smile.
“Mommy” they yelled and dropped their books on the ground running towards Lisa and hugging her so tight.
Lisa smiled. “Mommy where have you been? Daddy said you went to see uncle Daniel” Isabella said and Lisa turned to Alfred who was staring at her with no expression on his face. His emerald eyes pierced through her skin.
She quickly looked away from him and turned to her kids.
“Have you guys had dinner? I’ll go prepare dinner” Lisa said as she stroked Isabella’s hair.
“Daddy already prepared dinner,” Arabella said, smiling. Lisa smiled at them.
“You guys should go to your room. I want to speak with your daddy alone” Lisa said and the kids nodded happily before running to their room, upstairs.
Lisa then turned to Alfred who was sitting on the couch, staring at him with those sexy emerald eyes of his. Lisa stared at his curly hair and to his eyes and to his lips which were slightly parted.
Her eyes moved to his broad chest. He was wearing body hugging clothes making his six packs so obvious. Lisa swallowed hard as she stared at him.
“How’s he?” Alfred asked as he picked up the books the kids had left on the ground.
“Who?” Lisa asked
“Daniel, I know he loves you. I could see it from the way he was staring at you today and you had gone to see him” Alfred said and dropped the book on the table.
“What?” Lisa said, still wondering how Alfred had known she went to see Daniel. What did she expect anyways? This was Alfred, king of all people; he knows everything even without no one telling him, she thought.
“He’s your boyfriend right?” Alfred asked as he stood up. His hand tucked inside his pocket as he strode towards Lisa.
“What? Hell no! He’s not my boyfriend” Lisa said as Alfred was now standing in front of him. The both of them were so close that they could feel each other’s breath.
“If he’s not your boyfriend then what is he to you?” Alfred asked and Lisa looked into his eyes. She could obviously see he was jealous. Lisa tried moving away from him but she missed her legs and was about to fall to the ground but Alfred was quick to hold her.
He held her by his waist with both of them both staring at each other’s eyes. The hate that was in Lisa’s eyes a few days ago wasn’t there anymore. It was something else but Alfred couldn’t place his hand on what it was.
Lisa coughed slightly bringing Alfrdd back to reality and he quickly let go of her.
“You should eat dinner. I’ll go back to the motel. I’ll be back by tomorrow ” Alfred said and went to pick up his phone from the dining table.
Lisa became sad when Alfedd told her he was leaving. She didn’t know why but she just didn’t want him to leave. Even though she still hates him and is still angry at him, she just didn’t want him to go, not now, not never.
“Why are you going back to the hotel? It’s late already” Lisa said and Alfred smiled at her.
“You want me to stay?” Alfred asked
“What?? Hell no!! You can leave and besides I do not ever want to see you again. Just go and leave and never come back” Lisa said but inwardly she was asking him not to leave. She wanted him to stay with her even if just for tonight.
“I would have stayed but I do not want you to feel uncomfortable” Alfred smiled at her and nodded. He walked towards Lisa and kissed her on her forehead.
Just as he was about to walk out of the house he heard a loud thud followed by Lisa’s scream.
“Lisa” Alfred called and turned around and to his surprise, he saw Lisa lying on the ground with her eyes closed.
