Chapter 125
It was evening and working hours were almost over. Daniel had come to the restaurant after he had picked up the children from school.
The restaurant would close soon, so there were just a few people inside. The rest of the quadruplets walked in looking around with Daniel behind them. Just then they caught a glimpse of Dina walking toward them.
“Aunt Dina” they yelled as they ran towards Dina and hugged her.
“Sweethearts, how are you?” Dina asked as she bent to their level touching their hairs.
“We are fine aunty” they echoed at once and Dina smiled.
“Aunty where is Isabella?” Annabella asked
“Oh!! She’s over there” Dina said as she pointed towards a table at the extreme end where Isabella was sitting. The kids immediately ran away from Dina and went to meet Isabella.
Immediately, the kids left Dina stood up and smiled at Daniel.
“Welcome sir,” she said and bowed her head making Daniel scoff.
“I have told you times without numbers, not to address me as sir. I would rather prefer you call me Daniel” Daniel said and Dina smiled.
“Where is Lisa?” Daniel asked
“Oh, she’s in her office,” Dina said and Daniel muttered a thank you before walking away to Lisa’s office.
“Isabel” her sisters called as they got to the table she was sitting on.
“You guys are back,” Isabella said as she dropped the newspapers she used in covering her face.
“Yeah,” Annabella said as they all sat close to her.
“Why are you always reading this?” Clarabella said as she carried the newspaper, and stared at it for some seconds before dropping it back on the table.
“I prefer to draw than read a book,” Clarabella said and Arabella rolled her eyes.
“Have you been sitting here all alone?” Arabella asked.
“No, I got company but he left not quite long,” Isabella said in response and her sisters hummed.
“He??” They echoed at ones staring at Isabella who scoffed.
“What’s that look?” Isabella asked as she laughed.
“Who was he?” They asked at once.
“Common, girls. Calm down, stop acting like you guys are gonna eat me raw” Isabella said and they laughed.
“Then tell us who he is,” Annabella said and they nodded, supporting her.
“Ok, you guys won,” Isabella said as she raised her hands as a sign of her surrendering. Her sisters sat comfortably staring at her waiting for her to speak.
“It was a huge handsome man. He had the same color of eyes as ours” Isabella said
“Woah!!” Her sisters echoed at once.
“Yeah but I think it’s just a mere coincidence. But the man was so handsome. When I was speaking with him I felt this connection I have never felt before. I felt like he was our papa. That I began to wish he’s our papa” Isabella said and her sisters hummed.
“If you guys had seen him you would have felt the same thing too,” Isabella said and Arabella stood up.
“I’m going to meet mom I’m hungry,” she said not interested in what Isabella just said and with that, she left.
“What was the last novel you read, Isabella?” Clarabella said as she stood up and laughed.
“Too much reading is probably affecting your brain now,” she said and left. Annabella turned to Isabella.
“What’s his name?” Annabella asked.
“Alfred kings,” Isabella said in response and Annabella nodded.
“You should go meet mommy too. She hasn’t seen you since you came back” Isabella said
“I’m not leaving you all alone here. Don’t mind Clarabella and Arabella, they’re just hungry that’s why they are both that way. I know they believe what you said the same way I do” Annabella said and Isabella hummed softly.
“What about your leg?” Annabella asked.
“I can manage to walk. I went to the restroom today without mommy’s or anyone’s help” Isabella said
“Did mommy see you?” Annabella asked
“No, she didn’t, ” Isabella said and suddenly they heard someone cough from behind, they turned and saw Lisa.
“Mom” Annabella called and Lisa smiled at her.
“How long have you been standing there?” Isabella asked
“Just now and mind you, I saw you when you entered the restroom, ” Lisa said smiling and they all laughed.
“Does that mean I can go to school tomorrow?” Isabella asked.
“Maybe, Common kids, let’s go home. I packaged some food from the restaurant. You’ll eat it in the car or when you get home” Lisa said as Annabella stood up from the chair she was sitting on.
“Where are the others?” Isabella asked as Lisa helped her stand up from the chair.
“They’re outside with your uncle Daniel,” Lisa said as she held Isabella’s hand.
“If you’re gonna go to school tomorrow, you’ve got to walk by yourself to the car now,” Lisa said and Isabella nodded as she managed to walk even though it hurt a bit.
After Lisa and her kids had gotten home. They had dinner and took their bath. Lisa helped them lay on their bed and told them a bedtime story till they slept off.
After then she went to her room and lay on her bed then drifted to sleep.

It was morning and Lisa had already gotten to the restaurant. The kids including Isabella had already been taken to school by Daniel. Her leg had already gotten better, if not that much. In no time it would heal permanently.
Lisa has been so busy since she came to the restaurant, tomorrow was the funding party day and she needed to make sure everything was in order.
“Lisa, I missed your call. Is everything alright?” Dina asked as she walked toward Lisa who was standing outside the restaurant with her phone in her hands.
“Yes yes, I did call you,” Lisa said as she turned to Dina.
“Is everything alright?” Dina asked
“Yes, I just wanted to be sure everything needed for the party will be available for tomorrow. Is there anything you think we need in the kitchen?” Lisa asked
“Yeah, we need more drinks, Appetizers, plates, cups, napkins…”
“I thought we had these you just made mention of?” Lisa cut her off
“Yeah but we need extras just in case,” Dina said and Lisa nodded.
“Ok fine, give me the list of what you want and I’ll call Andrea to bring them,” Lisa said and Dina nodded before she left.
Just then Lisa heard her phone ring. It was a call from Daniel.
“Hey,” Lisa said as she answered the phone call.
“Lisa” Daniel called
“Where are you, Daniel? Why is so much noise there?” Lisa asked
“I’m actually at the Airport. I’m leaving the country now. It’s an emergency” Daniel said
“Oh!! When will you be coming back?” Lisa asked
“I don’t know yet. If you need anything just call Williams alright?” Daniel said and Lisa hummed in response.
“I love you,” Daniel said and with that, he ended the call. Lisa exhaled deeply as she stared at her phone in her hands before putting it back in her pocket.
