Meanwhile, Lisa is seen in Dina’s office with both of them laughing together. Lisa felt happy for Dina. At least she was able to move on from Charles.
She never thought Dina would be able to move on after everything but she was glad she did move on.
“Clara, can you go check on Isabella in Lisa’s office?” Dina said to Clara and she nodded before leaving.
“She’s so happy Williams is now her dad” Lisa smiled as she stared at Clara till she was out of sight.
“Yeah,” Dina said and she stared at Lisa who was smiling at her.
“What??” Lisa asked as she scoffed
“Daniel” Dina raised her eyebrows.
“What about him?” Lisa asked
“Tell him how you feel,” Dina said
“He knows. He fucking knows and guess what? he said he’s going to wait” Lisa said and Dina opened her eyes wide.
“Woah, you’re lucky, ” Dina said and Lisa scoffed.
“Clara said something today. She said she’s been bullied in school because she didn’t have a dad but now she’s happy she now has a dad. What if the quadruplets are being bullied too for the same reason?” Dina said
“No!! That’s not possible. The kids would have told me about it” Lisa said and Dina scoffed.
“And they didn’t tell you about Isabella’s broken leg. You found out yourself. ” Dina said and Lisa sighed softly.
She then checked her wristwatch. “The kids will be home now, I don’t want to get home when they’re asleep. I haven’t been giving them much attention lately, I wanna make it up to them. I’ll go get isabella” Lisa said
“Sure, I’ll call you later,” Dina said to Lisa, smiling at her before walking out of Dina’s office.
Immediately Lisa walked inside her office and she met Isabella lying on the couch holding a paper in her hands. She had left her on the chair before she left. How did she get to the couch with her broken leg? She asked no one in particular. It
“I know that look mom. I’m not crippled. One of my legs is still functioning and I can walk with it” Isabella said as she dropped the paper beside her on the couch.
“You went there yourself?” Lisa asked, pointing at the couch.
“No!! Clara helped me. She’s just left “Isabella said as she helped herself sit properly on the couch.
“Oh!! C’mon let’s go home” Lisa said as she arranged her bag then walked towards Isabella and carried her on her back.
“How long are you gonna continue doing this mom? I told you I can walk on my own.” Isabella said as she wrapped her hands around her mom’s neck and Lisa scoffed as she walked towards her table and carried her bag.
“I’ll continue to carry you till your leg is fully healed,” Lisa said as she walked out of her office. Isabella chuckled slightly.
“You remind me of my classmates. Her name is Lora. She’s very little. Her dad always carries her on his back to class every morning. The teacher calls her Daddy’s Girl. Anytime I see Lora and her dad, I wish I had a daddy too” Isabella said as she rested her head on Lisa’s back.
Lisa paused as she listened to her daughter. She could sense the sadness in her voice. If Isabella could be feeling sad because they don’t have a daddy, she wondered how the rest of the kids would be feeling. Maybe Dina was right, she thought.
“Mommy? Are you alright?” Isabella said when she noticed her mom stopped walking and stood numb.
“Yeah honey, I’m okay. Let’s go home and meet your sisters ” Lisa said before walking away.

Meanwhile, Alfred is seen in his office looking so lost.
The past 6 years going to 7 years have been a really difficult time for him. No matter how hard he tries to move on, his past always comes haunting him one way or another.
Even though he tells himself that he was trying to move on, the truth is he knows it can never be possible, not after what he did to Lisa.
It was just too heartbreaking. After putting her life in danger and almost killed her with his bare hands.
He sighed softly and rubbed his hands on his forehead. Just then he heard a knock on the door and Andrew walked in holding a file in his hands.
“What do you want, Andrew? I thought I told you I needed to be alone and that one should come to my office” Alfred said tiredly.
“Sorry about that. I just came to inform you that a venue has been chosen for the funding party which is days from now and you are to be traveling tomorrow to make preparation” Andrew said and Alfred hummed softly.
“Which venue did they choose? I thought they were going to use the one they used last year?” Alfred asked as he stared at Andrew
“I thought so too but they chose a different venue this time. Not just any venue but a popular restaurant in Singapore” Andrew said
“Seriously, A restaurant? Whoever is managing this upcoming event is crazy. How will they use restaurants instead of the usual event center?” Alfred asked as he scoffed.
“I was surprised too. I heard the restaurant is really popular and most CEOs in town go there to eat. Their food is really good” Andrew said
“And have you tasted the food?” Alfred asked
“No” Andrew replied
“Then why did you say it’s good?” Alfred asked
“So I heard from people who have tasted their food,” Andrew said
“What’s the name of the restaurant?” Alfred asked
“The Bella’s. I heard the owner named it after her quadruplets” Andrew said and Alfred gave him a surprised look.
“Quadruplets?” He asked and Andrew nodded. Alfred had always admired children. He loves kids so much that he prays when he gets married, and his wife gives birth to quadruplets. but a lot of things caused him to change.
He just wished Lisa was by his side with their kid who would probably be 6years old by now. He sighed softly.
“Prepare everything I’ll need for tomorrow’s flight, ” Alfred said
“I’m coming with you right?” Andrew asked
“No!! I’m going alone” Alfred said and Andrew was a little bit surprised. He had always traveled with Alfred to every funding party they attended in the past and he was surprised Alfred was going alone this time.
“Why? But I usually go…”
“Some things change Andrew. I’m going alone and that’s final. You gonna take care of the company while I’m away” Alfred cut him off. He had always needed a break from everything in his life.
He had wanted a break from his company, his house, his money, and every single thing he had. He just needed quiet time. Maybe this was an opportunity for him, he thought.
“Ok sure, ” Andrew said and with that, he walked out of the office.
