Chapter 82
It was evening already, Lisa and Dina had slept off while talking that they almost forgot it was getting late.
The sound of a car horn woke them up from their sleep. Lisa peeped from the window and saw it was Daniel. He came home early today, Lisa thought.
“Oh, what’s the time?” Dina asked as she yawned. She enjoyed the sleep. It’s evening.
“Oh my goodness!! How many hours did I sleep then?” She asked Lisa
“6 or 7 hours. Can’t say” Lisa said and yawned.
“I need to get Clara. We should start heading home before it gets dark” Dina said and stood up.
“Why don’t you have dinner before you go home?” Lisa asked
“No!! It’s already late. We will have dinner at home” Dina said and Lisa nodded. They both walked out of the room downstairs only to see Clara and Nova in Daniel’s arms.
If you weren’t told, you would think he was the father of the kids.
“Hello sir” Dina bowed her head
“How are you doing Dina?” Daniel asked as he dropped both kids on the ground.
“I’m fine sir,” Dina said smiling
“Aunt Lisa ” Nova yelled as she jumped on Lisa.
“Oh, my baby girl. You came alone, where’s mom?” Lisa asked, looking around.
“I came with uncle daniel. He came home today and I told him I want to see you. So he brought me here, I’m going to spend the night here. I’m so happy, ”Nova said giggling as she touched Lisa’s hair. Lisa smiled at her.
“Lisa I’ll be on my way now,” Dina said
“Let’s have Dinner together before you leave” Daniel insisted and after so much thought Dina finally decided to stay.
During the dinner, Dina noticed something weird about Lisa and Daniel like they were not talking to each other. She then shook off the thoughts maybe she was the one overthinking things.
After dinner, Dina left with Clara. Lisa decided to go to bed because she was feeling a little bit tired but Nova insisted she and Daniel watched Tv with her. She had no choice but to agree.
Nova fell asleep while watching Tv, so Lisa decided to go to bed after then but Daniel was quick to stop her. He apologized to Lisa for what he did earlier today. He said he didn’t know what came after him and he didn’t mean to take advantage of her, that it would never happen again. After long apologies, Lisa forgave him, besides she wasn’t really angry at him.

Alfred is seen dressed in a black suit and black shoes. He stood in front of his mirror as he repaired his tie properly.
He took his wristwatch and put it on. And wore his perfume. He brushed his black hair backward leaving a part of it to fall to the front close to his eyes.
He was trying to look presentable. He didn’t want anyone to notice whatever was going on with him because there were going to be a lot of CEOs there and mostly some of his business partners would be there too. So, he didn’t want to look like his problem.
He stared at his reflection in the mirror. He imagined Lisa standing by his side putting on a black gown and a black glove with her arms tucked in his arms as they both walked inside the party together.
His imagination suddenly fades away like the wind. He sighed softly. Just then Andrew walked in looking dressed too.
“Let’s go, Alfred, you don’t want to be the last CEO to enter that party today,” Andrew said and sat on the chair in the room watching Alfred.
He was looking so handsome but one could see from his eyes, that he was going through a lot.
“Are the gifts in the car?” Alfred asked as he turned to Andrew. Alfred had asked Andrew to get Mr. Edward’s son’s lord of birthday gifts. He knows how much Edward loves his son and his happiness is his only priority.
“Yes’ ‘ Andrew said and Alfred nodded before walking out of the room. He walked out of his house and a bodyguard opened the door to his car and he entered the car. The bodyguard closed his door. He wore his black glasses and the driver ignited the engine and zoomed off.

Lisa is seen wearing a black fitted gown. Even though she was pregnant, she was still looking as sexy as hell.
She sat in front of her dressing table as she put on light makeup. She brushed her hair and styled it. She applied red lipstick and wore her perfume.
She wore her heels and stood up staring at her reflection in the mirror. She was good to go to the birthday party.
Just then a soft knock came in and Daniel walked in. Immediately he saw Lisa, he stood still with his mouth wide open.
He’s never seen such outstanding beauty in his entire life. Lisa was just too beautiful to be true and the black gown she was wearing made her look more beautiful.
She was looking like a queen. Words weren’t even enough for Daniel to describe how beautiful Lisa was looking.
Lisa cleared her throat bringing Daniel back to reality.
“How do I look?” Lisa asked as she turned around for Daniel to take a proper look at what she was wearing.
“You look stunning Lisa,” Daniel said as he bit his lips. God!! He settled down in creating Lisa. Even though Lisa was pregnant he was so sure a lot of people would find her attractive at the birthday party if not everybody.
“Thank you, ” Lisa said and sat on her bed.
“Hey what’s that look on your face? Do you want to ruin your beauty?” Daniel asked
“Nothing, I just feel like something is going to go wrong at the birthday party, ” Lisa said
“Nothing is going to go wrong. You’re the one overthinking things. I’m here to protect you ” Daniel said and Lisa nodded in response.
