Chapter 72
It was years later that Mrs. Bella was able to conceive and then gave birth to little nova. A few months after Nova was born, Mrs. Bella’s husband, Mr. Smith died.
Mrs. Bella sighed softly as she remembered everything.
“Bella” Felicia called, jolting her outta her thoughts.
“Are you alright?” Felicia asked
“Yes I’m fine,” she said
“Give Lisa a chance,” Felicia said and Mrs. Bella nodded.
Just then she heard a knock on the door and the door opened revealing Tessa and her friend Lydia.
“Hello ma’am” Tessa smiled as she saw Mrs. Bella.
“Tessa I didn’t know you were coming today,” Mrs. Bella said
“Oh!! I just wanted to surprise you. I went shopping for you and nova before coming” Tessa smiled
“Awwww that’s so nice of you, ” Mrs. Bella said
“Who is she?” Mrs. Bella asked as she stared at Lydia who was looking heavily pregnant.
“Her name is Lydia. She’s my best friend Lydia this is Mrs. Bella, Daniel’s mom” Tessa said
“Hi, ma’am. Nice to meet you” Lydia said and Mrs. Bella smiled at her.
“Hello Mrs. Felicia, it’s been a long since I saw you,” Tessa said as she turned to Mrs. Felicia
“Seems like I was invisible when you first came in,” Mrs. Felicia said and rolled her eyes.
“Uhm, Tessa. Nova is upstairs. She must be really happy to see you. You should go meet her upstairs ” Mrs. Bella said and Tessa nodded before walking upstairs to Nova’s room with Lydia trailing behind her, holding some shopping bags.
“I don’t like that girl Tessa. I never liked her from the start” Mrs. Felicia said and rolled her eyes.
Mrs. Bella chuckled “she’s a nice girl and I would be so happy if she would be the one to marry my son,” Mrs. Bella said Felicia chuckled softly
“You know one day you gonna fall into a lion’s den without knowing,” Felicia said
“I have known Tessa since childhood. I trust her” Mrs. Bella said
“Oh really. You don’t know people change right? I pity you” Felicia said and Mrs. Bella rolled her eyes.
Mrs. Felicia checked her phone and stood up.
“I have to go now. Got business to attend to” Mrs. Felicia said
“Oh, when will I see you again ?” Mrs. Bella said
“Next week at Mr. Edward’s son’s birthday party,” Felicia said
“Oh!! I almost forgot. I’ll come with Daniel if I’m able to patch things up with him before then” Mrs. Bella said
“Ok then, bye,” Felicia said and hugged Mrs. Bella before walking out of the house.
Edward Michelson is one of the richest and most prominent businessmen in the states. He owns one of the biggest architectural companies globally. His son is going to clock 4 and he’s throwing a massive birthday party for him, so he invited so many people, both outside of the country and inside of the country. A lot of people were going to attend.

It was already late in the evening, and Daniel and Lisa are seen sitting at the dining table eating dinner. They had come back a little late from the hospital today.
“You heard what the doctor said right, there are foods you should eat because of the baby,” Daniel said as they ate
“Yeah, Of course, I know,” Lisa said
Just then Daniel heard his phone ring. It was from William. He quickly answered the phone call.
“Sir, it’s all done. The board members approved it already ” William said and Daniel nodded.
“Okay, thank you for anything else?” Daniel said
“Uhm sir, I just want to remind you of Mr. Edward’s Son’s birthday party by next week. He called this evening to remind you of the birthday party” William said and Daniel sighed softly
“I don’t feel like attending, ” Daniel said
“I would advise you to attend. You can meet new business partners there and you can bring Mrs. Lisa with you” Williams said
“Of course, I’ll attend” Daniel smiled and ended the phone call.
Daniel smiled as he stared at Lisa.
“You’re gonna attend a birthday party with me next week,” Daniel said and Lisa nodded without saying a word.
Meanwhile, on the other end, Williams is seen sitting in his car. He had just left the company when he called Daniel.
He knows how much Daniel hates attending birthday parties, so he had to use Lisa’s name to convince him so he would attend, and luckily it worked.

Alfred is seen in his office. He looked so busy with what he was doing on his computer. He had forgotten it was night already and the company was as silent as hell. Everyone had gone home except for him and Andrew who was in his office waiting for Alfred.
When he saw Alfred wasn’t even making any attempts to leave the company he decided to go meet him. He walked inside his office where he met Alfred looking so engrossed in work.
“It’s almost midnight Alfred, you can finish this tomorrow,” Andrew said and Alfred raised his head and stared at him.
“You can go home, I’ll sleep here tonight,” Alfred said and Andrew sighed.
He knew what Alfred was trying to do. He’s just trying to overwork so he can distract himself from everything happening lately and this is making him look so weak and tired.
He’s only killing himself without knowing.
After he was discharged from the hospital he resumed office immediately. He’s not fully recovered yet and it’s affecting him.
Andrew only prays he doesn’t have health problems in the future because he’s not taking care of himself properly. He barely cares about himself.
Just then Andrew saw a text message on his phone.
He sighed as she read the text message.
“It’s Mr. Edward’s secretary, ” Andrew said
“What about her?” Alfred asked
“She texted me to remind me of Mr. Edward’s son’s birthday party. She’s hoping we attend especially you” Andrew said
“Next week is still far away and I’m sure I’ll attend. I have got some business to discuss with Edward. I’m going to attend because of that” Alfred said
