Chapter 14
“Oh my God!!” He whispered and placed his ear on her chest to check if she was still breathing and thankfully she was breathing slowly.
He didn’t waste any time he carried her from the ground out of the cell room and rushed her inside the house.
“Called the doctor!” He yelled at Ria. Ria who was frightened at the sound of his voice quickly responded.
“Yes sir” ria said in fear and quickly called the family doctor.

“Doctor how’s she?”Andrew asked the doctor as he came out from Lisa’s room.
“Was that girl beaten?” The doctor who was curious at who would do such to such a beautiful angel asked and Andrew itched his head and the doctor quickly said.
“She’s fine now. Gave her some injections and I prescribed some drugs that will help her relieves the pain she’s feeling, and will help her recover fast.. Here’s the list of drugs you’ll get for her at the pharmacist. She just needs enough rest after this she’ll be fine” the doctor said and Andrew gave out a long sigh.
” I’ll see you out and get the drugs ” Andrew said and turned to Ria who was standing beside him.
“Take care of lisa while I’m gone” he said and then left with the doctor.
Ria rolled her eyes liked she cared, she thought and was about entering the room but paused halfway “what I’m I going to do in there? I really don’t want to see her disgusting face ” she thought and was about climbing down the stairs when she heard her phone ring. She brought out her phone and saw it was mr hector.
“You have few days left Ria , to deliver the papers, just a friendly reminder” mr hector said and ended the call immediately. Ria felt cold shivers ran down her spine immediately. She needed to find those papers to the Alfred’s companies and estates.

After Andrew had gotten the drugs he made sure Lisa ate enough food and the drugs even though she tried rejecting it and now Lisa was fast asleep.
It was evening already, Alfred had already arrived from the company. He was feeling as tired as ever as work was so hectic for him today. He attended a board meeting today, sorted some files and did some other things since Andrew was not around to assist him.
Immediately, he got inside the house Ria came running to him. “Welcome sir” Ria greeted and Alfred hummed without staring at her and this pained Ria a lot. She just needed a little bit of his attention buh he isn’t even knowing if she exists or not.
“Sir there’s something I need to tell you” she quickly spoke as she saw he was walking away from her. “Keep that for later. I’m not interested” he said as rude as ever and Ria frowned slightly.
“Sir, mr Andrew brought Lisa out of the cell room today and called t………..”
“Where’s Andrew now?” he didn’t let her finish the sentence when he cut her off.
“Lisa’s room” Alfred felt his anger arise as he walked towards Lisa’s room. He pushed the door with full force making Andrew jerk up from the chair he was sitting on. His eyes moved towards the beauty who was lying on the bed. Even with her swollen face she was looking as beautiful as ever, her lips as red as blood and her long lashes. Her hair scattered all over her face making her look as sexy as ever. Alfred quickly looked away from her and then turned to Andrew.
“Andrew I hate it when people undo whatever I do. You know how much I hate it” he paused trying to calm himself down buh he just couldn’t, he was feeling as angry as ever.
“Alfred, please calm down” Andrew said calmly
“Don’t tell me to fucking calm down ” he yelled and Lisa who was fast asleep made a strange sound which was out of pain as she opened her eyes. Immediately she saw Alfred, fear ran down her spine and tears gathered in her eyes.
Andrew stared at Lisa whose eyes were filled with tears , he felt so much pity for her. He could feel the pain she was going through.
“Alfred! She was dying in pain I had no option than to help her” Andrew turned to Alfred.
“So?? Why didn’t you let her die?” Alfred yelled and the tears Lisa had been holding for long she let go. Is this how much Alfred hated her that he wished for her to die.
It pained Andrew at the words of Alfred.
“Have you lost your sanity Alfred? Do you still have a heart? Are you even in human with a conscience? Can’t you see what you making this girl going through? Can’t you see she’s too young for this?” Andrew yelled
“Oh cut that shit!! Wasn’t I too small when I had gone through same in her father’s hand. Who came to my rescue? Do you even know what you are saying Andrew? Do you know what I went through in the hands of the mr Cranston? Do you? For the fact that you’ve stayed with me for a long time doesn’t mean you know anything about me Andrew. You know no fucking shit about me and what have been through ” pain could be seen in Alfred’s eyes as he spoke it was so visible that Lisa saw it clearly. Memories came running into Alfreds head that made him want to cry buh no he won’t cry, he’s a man and wasn’t supposed to cry, he’s supposed to be strong.
Alfred eyes came in contact with that of Lisa and Lisa quickly looked away and Alfred turned his back and was about walking out of the room when he paused and said something.
“I want her back in the cell room within the next 2mins and if it exceeds that time she’s going to be punished for it” Alfred says and with that he walked out of the room.
Andrew isn’t surprised at alfreds behavior all he did was take a deep breath and turned to turned to Lisa who was staring at Andrew.
“He’s broken like a piece of glass and those glasses are given him injuries. Do you think he’ll ever find happiness, can he be fixed again ever because from the look of things he’s Been damaged beyond repair” Lisa thought and groaned in pain as she tried standing up from the bed.
“Hey you should rest. Where are you going to?” Andrew asked worriedly
“Back to where I belong. The cell room. Thank you for everything you did today. Thank you for saving my life, I’m forever grateful ” Lisa sniffed and Andrew felt tears gathered in his eyes, he tried pushing the tears back buh he just couldn’t. He quickly walked out so he wouldn’t break down in front of Lisa.
Lisa smiled out tears and gave herself a reassurance everything is going to be okay, one day even when she knew it was too impossible buh yet in the midst of her impossibilities thought she still believed everything was going to be fine again and she’ll be happy again.
