Chapter 2187: Various Treasures

As they gazed at the jewel, clear and green like water, some cultivators who recognized its origin began to breathe more rapidly.
“The first auction item is called the Azure Dust Pearl,” Elder Howard announced with a smile.
“Azure Dust Pearl!”
“This treasure is extremely rare. It’s said that it only forms inside a thousand-year-old jade clam from the Boundless Sea.”
“The Boundless Sea is full of dangers. To find such a ten-thousand-year-old jade clam, at least a half-step Spirit God realm expert would need to step in…”
Voices of discussion erupted in the grand hall.
“I didn’t expect the first auction item to be this. Even in my Star Moon Lake, Azure Dust Pearls are seldom seen,” the Sea Serpent King murmured softly.
Elder Howard scanned the room, smiling slightly. “I believe everyone present has heard of this item. It was nurtured by a jade clam that lived for twelve hundred years.”
“The Azure Dust Pearl’s greatest effect is purifying and nourishing the golden core of Spirit Saint realm experts, providing nutrients for the Spirit Core embryo within, and increasing the chance of breaking through to the Spirit God realm.”
Elder Howard spoke as he gently stroked his beard, unhurriedly.
However, as Elder Howard finished speaking, nearly half of the cultivators in the hall had eyes that turned fervent.
“Azure Dust Pearls are rare. I must win it!”
“I need this to purify my golden core!”
Voices filled with determination echoed.
The first auction item heated up the atmosphere in the grand hall. The hotter the atmosphere, the more competitors there would be, and the higher the final price of the item would be.
“This Azure Dust Pearl starts at one million Low-Quality Spirit Stones, with each bid increment no less than fifty thousand Low-Quality Spirit Stones. I announce the bidding begins!” Elder Howard declared loudly, hands behind his back, as he felt the atmosphere was sufficiently warmed up.
“1, 100, 000!”
“1, 200, 000!”
“I bid 1, 250, 000!”
As Elder Howard’s voice fell, there was a brief silence before fervent bidding voices began to rise.
A starting price of one million was not low. Even for Spirit Saint realm experts, careful consideration was needed before bidding.
Leo estimated that the final price for this Azure Dust Pearl would not be less than two million.
At this moment, Mason whispered, “Leo, for the first few dozen items at the auction, generally high-level Spirit Saint peak or half-step Spirit God realm experts won’t bid. It’s mostly mid to lower-level Spirit Saint experts competing. When the rare treasures appear later, that’s when top families and forces focus their efforts.”
Leo nodded, showing some anticipation in his eyes.
“1, 600, 000!”
“1, 800, 000.”
“2, 000, 000!”
The bidding for the Azure Dust Pearl was quite intense. Among the cultivators present, many were wealthy, so the price quickly soared past two million.
Ultimately, the price for the Azure Dust Pearl reached 2, 600, 000.
“Alright, this first auction item, Azure Dust Pearl, sold for 2, 600, 000 to this cultivator,” Elder Howard said with a smile, stroking his beard with one hand and pointing to the successful bidder with the other.
His expression showed he was very satisfied with the price achieved for this item.
If sold elsewhere, an Azure Dust Pearl might fetch at most two million. Only at this triennial auction event could it reach such a price.
Beside him, Abbie waved her sleeve, sending the Azure Dust Pearl flying towards the successful bidder.
“Thank you!” The cultivator expressed excitement as he received the Azure Dust Pearl.
Meanwhile, a white-clad maid approached with a tray. The cultivator placed a Storage Sack on it.
Seeing this, Leo couldn’t help but ask, “Is this auction conducted with on-site transactions?”
“Yes, Leo,” Mason nodded. “This auction is backed by the credibility of the City Lord’s Mansion. So after a successful bid, you can confidently transact on-site.”
After completing the transaction for the first auction item, everyone’s attention returned to the white jade platform.
“Now for the second auction item,” Elder Howard announced loudly.
A white-clad maid walked onto the stage carrying the second auction item.
The red silk cloth was lifted to reveal a transparent small bottle containing a viscous liquid with a faint yellow translucent hue.
“The second auction item is Wolfbee Infusion, brewed from royal jelly of icefield wolf bees. Consuming it can increase physical strength by twenty percent without any side effects. Starting price is 1. 2 million Low-Quality Spirit Stones,” Elder Howard stated.
“1. 3 million!”
“1. 5 million…!”
As soon as Elder Howard’s words fell, bidding voices rang out again.
“Indeed all are treasures,” Leo nodded slightly.
Whether it was the previous Azure Dust Pearl or now the Wolfbee Infusion, they were almost universally appealing to all Spirit Saint realm cultivators present.
“The third auction item is Shadow Sword, a top-grade spiritual weapon. The sword is light and swift. Starting price is 1. 3 million Low-Quality Spirit Stones.”
“The fourth auction item is Millennium Origin Peach, a quasi-seventh-grade Spirit Fruit that can increase cultivation by twenty percent. Starting price…”
On the white jade platform, one treasure after another appeared as the atmosphere remained fiery.
Among the items were top-grade spiritual weapons, various Spirit Fruits and Herbs, attack and protection Talismans, various secret techniques and skills, as well as rare treasures.
It can be said without exaggeration that every item presented had great allure for the cultivators present.
The bidding continued non-stop in the auction hall. After more than an hour had passed, they had reached the thirty-fifth auction item.
So far, Leo hadn’t placed any bids. Some items were good but not particularly useful to him at present or suitable for Seraphina.
As for Sea Serpent King, he was merely watching for entertainment.
The Moore Family siblings did make one bid and won a top-grade spiritual weapon.
“Now for the thirty-sixth auction item!” Elder Howard announced loudly from the white jade platform.
A maid ascended the stage and pulled back the red silk cloth to reveal a scroll emitting a white glow suspended in mid-air surrounded by spiritual energy.
As it floated up, a faint pressure spread out.
Upon seeing this scroll, Leo’s eyes suddenly focused after being merely an observer until now.
In mid-air, the glowing white scroll slowly unfolded revealing lines depicting rivers and mountains.
However, it seemed incomplete as there were signs of interruption in the mountain patterns at its end.
“Ladies and gentlemen,” Elder Howard began introducing simply. “The thirty-sixth item is this scroll drawn and refined using Seven-Tiered Rune Paper.”
“Seven-Tiered Rune Paper?”
“A map drawn using Seven-Tiered Rune Paper? Could it be indicating some treasure’s location?”
“I think it might be a map to some secret realm…”
As they looked at the scroll in mid-air once more whispers spread among cultivators.
