The room fell silent for a moment before laughter erupted, creating a harmonious atmosphere.
Grace snorted coldly, “Rogue.”
Darnell ignored Grace and addressed the crowd, “As I mentioned earlier, this wealthy man has a penchant for women with big boobs.”
“He devised an intelligence test for three women to fill a house with items, not because he lacked anything himself. It was a blatant distraction to cover his true desires.”
“In reality, his true desire was for a woman with big boobs.”
“You misunderstood his needs, which is why you will suffer losses.”
“So what does this story teach us? It shows that what clients say they want is often nonsense and not their true desire.”
“You need to analyze the clients’ needs more deeply and uncover their real desires. Only then can you secure the deal.”
While Bailee and the trainees nodded in agreement, Grace responded with sarcastic skepticism, “Mr. Halford makes it sound so easy, but if it were that simple, salespeople wouldn’t struggle so much. They’d be wealthy by now.”
Darnell seemed prepared for Grace’s criticism and smiled as he replied, “Ms. Morris is right. Sales is not that easy.”
“But with dedication and careful analysis of clients, you can definitely extract the information needed to make deals easier.”
“Take Ms. Morris as an example-can you discern what her needs are?”
All eyes instantly turned to Grace. They looked at her thoughtfully yet blankly.
Seeing herself become the center of attention, Grace sneered indifferently and stepped forward to face Darnell. “Mr. Halford wants to use me as an example?”
“Fine, I have some time today. I’ll be your guinea pig. Go ahead, treat me as your client and analyze my needs.”
“Let’s see what you’ve got, Mr. Halford.”
Grace challenged him sharply, “Since you don’t know me well, do you need some basic information?”
“No need! The information I have is sufficient.”
Under everyone’s gaze, Darnell smiled slightly and scrutinized Grace closely before addressing Casey and the others, “Ms. Morris, graduated from a prestigious university, is a strong-willed woman earning over thirty thousand per month, aged thirty but looks much younger.”
Grace scoffed, “This information is all on my resume. Can you say something else?”
“Ms. Morris has both education and status,” Shayla noted.
“She has wealth and looks. She seems to lack nothing.”
Bailee and the trainees nodded in agreement. Grace appeared glamorous without any apparent needs.
“Indeed, you can say she lacks nothing from her attire, jewelry, and car,” Darnell remarked while looking at Ms. Morris.
“A two-thousand-three-hundred-dollar Hermes H-buckle belt.”
“A thirty-five-thousand-dollar Patek Philippe watch.”
“A limited edition GUCCI high heels worth eighteen thousand dollars.”
“An eighty-thousand-dollar classic vintage Chanel silver chain necklace.”
“A hundred-thousand-dollar red BMW.”
“And three-thousand-dollar-per-ounce Solitude Lover perfume.”
Grace’s expression changed slightly in surprise. She hadn’t expected Darnell to name the brands of her clothing, jewelry, and handbag so easily.
Especially the perfume-few in Westergold used it-yet Darnell identified it with just a sniff. This guy was indeed something else.
Casey and others were also stunned. They knew Grace was rich but didn’t realize she was this rich.
At this point, Darnell casually added, “Let’s not talk about the car. It’s over a million dollars-nothing extraordinary.”
“Now let’s analyze Ms. Morris’s attire to find out her real needs.”
Dozens of trainees sat up straight with serious expressions, clearly intrigued by Darnell’s insight.
“The total value of Ms. Morris’s outfit easily amounts to around five hundred thousand dollars-a sum you might not earn in a year,” Darnell stated.
“And remember, this isn’t for any special occasion.”
“This is just Ms. Morris’s regular work attire.”
“What does this indicate? It indicates Ms. Morris is financially well-off. Let’s not forget that before she became an executive supervisor, her annual salary was less than two hundred thousand dollars.”
“As an executive supervisor now-with all benefits included-her salary totals four hundred thousand dollars.”
“Though this salary is higher than yours, it’s insufficient to cover Ms. Morris’s daily expenses for her outfits,” Darnell smiled at Grace.
“What does this mean?”
“It means Ms. Morris either has an impressive father or an impressive man behind her.” Casey and the others nodded in agreement with Darnell’s analysis.
“Considering what we know, Ms. Morris comes from a small village and got married three years ago, so the possibility of her having a powerful father figure is out of the question.”
“Then it must be because she has a successful man-someone who can give her hundreds of thousands to buy clothes and jewelry. No doubt, he’s a successful person.”
“In today’s society, successful individuals are incredibly busy, rarely having time for their families. Coming home feels almost like checking into a hotel.”
“Of course, there are those exceptional people who earn a lot but aren’t too busy or those who are busy yet still manage to make time for their families.”
Darnell made a bold inference. “But I can confidently say that Ms. Morris’ husband isn’t one of them.”
Grace scoffed, “How would you know? You speak as if you understand me well. Let me tell you, my husband often spends time with me…”
“If Ms. Morris were truly in a loving relationship, she wouldn’t be wearing a perfume like ‘Lonely Lovers’, because its meaning is desire and temptation.”
Darnell leaned closer to Grace, teasingly whispering, “If you’re trying to seduce your husband, you should wear it at night. Who are you trying to impress during the day?”
“So, Ms. Morris’ true needs become clear.”
Darnell leaned in, his breath sending shivers down her spine. “What you want is a man!”
“And not your husband. If I’m guessing correctly, Ms. Morris is meeting someone today.”
“A man who can chat with you, drink with you, and share your bed.”
Grace’s face instantly drained of color, and she snapped, “Nonsense!”
She pushed Darnell away and stormed out of the room.
Once in the restroom, Grace splashed cold water on her face repeatedly, shocked that Darnell could see through her so easily.
Although Casey and the others hadn’t heard Darnell’s last few comments, they could tell from Grace’s expression that Darnell had hit the nail on the head.
As dozens of people gasped in surprise, they crowded around excitedly, hungry for gossip. “Mr. Halford, what’s Ms. Morris’ true desire?”
“She wants to have a baby.”
Darnell didn’t divulge any personal information about Grace. Instead, he brushed it off with a grin.
“Alright, let’s move on to someone else and analyze their needs-”
“Guys, move away…”
“Ladies with a flat chest, line up at the back.”
