Dean’s POV

A cold smirk goes across Ryru face, ” Well, If it isn’t the Blood clans prodigy child come to save Damian’s little group.”
” Little group?” I question him with a raised brow.
” Yes, I wouldn’t actually consider this thing you guys have going on a clan. There are only a handful of people and a few gaurds keeping this place save. You would think Damian would get on better terms with his family, and have them help him out with keep this area safe. Especially since it is so important to Jake.” He says in a cocky tone.
So, he is aware of why Damian choose to take this land. However, he isn’t wrong we do need more people, and this place isn’t actually considered a clan. A demon clan is made up of family members from each generation living under one roof.
I can’t actually judge Damian for choosing to distance himself from his family. My father left his clan at a young age, because he was done with being constantly used as a hunting dog. He went out on a mission one day and never returned. If my dad never left home when he did. He never would have met my mother, or had me and my siblings. Not to mention Alex never would have been adopted.
You see Hazel my older sister was already born. She was only a year old when they found Alex in a empty parking lot by himself. It was my mother who begged my father to pull the car over. So, they could get Alex and take him home. It was my mother’s kindness that melted my father’s cold heart.
For a long time it was just my dad, mom, and siblings. We didn’t talk to my grandfather or any family members. We were basically on our own until our uncle came looking for us.
Even to this day we aren’t fully back in with the Blood Clan family. We only live with my uncles and cousins that make it big enough to count as a clan on its own.
” Damian doesn’t need a clan. He has us to help him out.” I say back, as I pop my knuckles.
Ryru let’s out a laugh, ” You can’t do anything without having your older brother Alex helping you out. You were once feared by many demons. Your name alone use to have demons pissing their pants, but now you are nothing.”
” Damn, I didn’t realize you were such a big fan of mine.” I say full of sarcasm.
” You are a smart ass like always!” Ryru says, as he disappears from view.
Hearing a slight cracking sound coming from behind me. I can’t help but smile, “Oldest trick in the book Ryru!” I say turning around, and kicking Ryru hard in the side. The force of my kick sends him flying into a wall. He hits it with a loud thud, causing dirt to go flying through the air.
Once all the dirt settled down and clears up. I can see Ryru was inside a small hole.
Guess I hit him a little harder than I realized. Although, that would be a new score for me. I think that hole is a lot deeper, than the last hole I made by kicking someone.
I watch Ryru reach his hands out, and grab ahold of the sides of the wall, as he pulls himself out.
A lot of the times when a demon disappears from view. They are going to attack you from behind, or from the sides. I just got lucky on hearing him step on a rock on his way towards me.
I keep my eyes on Ryru and watch him spit out some blood, before he jumps over to where I am. ” If that is how hard you can hit. Than this is going to be a very fast fight.” Ryru says coldly, before disappearing from view once again.
After a few seconds I start to feel hot air hit me in the face. Along with something moving past me in a blur. The scent gives it away, and I instantly know that it is Ryru circling me at a fast speed.
I take a deep breath and close my eyes. I can hear his heart beating in his chest. Along with his feet making contact with the rocks for an instant before disappearing again.
I count in my head how many seconds there is before his feet makes contact with the rocks again.
One, two, three, four, five, six.
Six seconds between each time his feet make contact with the rocks.
He isn’t running in circles around me. He is jumping in circles at a fast pace.
I listen carefully and hear Ryru feet hit the rocks again. I open my eyes and kick hard in Ryru direction.
Ryru dodges my kick, and catches my right leg in his left hand. “Nice try Dean! But you are going to need to do a lot better than that!” Ryru says coldly, as he flings me into a nearby wall.
I feel instant pain shoot throughout my body, as I hit the wall sideways, before hitting the ground. I let out a small groan, before hearing footsteps walk over to me. Looking up I notice Ryru is standing next to me.
” You seem to have forgotten. Who you are fucking with!” Ryru says angrily, as he kicks me hard in the side. ” How do you expect to help Damian. When you clearly can’t help yourself!” He says kicking me again.
” I know little kids that can kick harder than you.” I says between his kicks.
” You go jokes!” He says kicking me hard in the head.
I instantly hear ringing in my ears, before everything goes black.
” Dean! Dean!” I hear a familiar voice say to me.
Opening my eyes I am face to face with Shiori. I watch her smile at me before laughing, ” Get up loser or we are going to be late for school again.” She says smacking me on the arm.
I groan a little before sitting up in bed. I throw the blanket off of me, before standing to my feet and stretching. ” Also, I have cheerleadering practice after school. So, you are going to need to wait for me. Which means no starting fights with random people that piss you off, because you always end up getting sent home early. Along with being suspended for several days, and dad can’t pull Alex from his missions to walk me too and from school.” She remains me.
” Yeah, yeah. I know Shiori.” I tell her, as everything turns white.
Opening my eyes I see Ryru sitting on top of a Rave. ” About time you woke up. You have been unconscious for about twenty minutes. Although, you did mention a name in your sleep. Shiori I believe is the name you said. If I remember correctly that is your twin sisters name. I seen her before with your dad. She looks just like you. Only she is actually beautiful, and would make a great breeder. I bet she would give me strong powerful babies with her being a Blood clan member.”
” Leave my sister out of this.” I say slowly standing to my feet. I wipe the blood from my mouth with the back of my hand.
That dream I had was a memory from back in middle school. It was also the day Shiori broke her ankle, because a girl on the cheerleading team thought it would be funny joke to lower her arm, as Shiori was coming back down from doing a back flip. She ended up landing on her feet wrong, causing her to twist her ankle, and fall onto the floor mat.
It was her screaming in pain that got my attention from outside. I ran inside to see the coach squating down next to her. Once I got close enough to see Shiori ankle. I knew from how deformed it looked that she broke it.
Shiori isn’t like me or my other siblings. She is sensitive and sweet.
” That hit a nerve Dean?” Ryru question me with a cocky smirk.
I can feel my blood boiling as everything turns red. I sprint at full speed towards Ryru, before I am side swiped by a Rave. I can feel it’s jaws clenching down onto my skin and piercing into my bones.
” This was fun Dean, but you really should have mindlinked your brother Alex for help. Now these Rave’s can add you to their pile of flesh.” Ryru says before he disappears.
I am not asking Alex for help, and I will not die here!
I can kill him and these fucking creatures by myself!
Feeling my demonic energy starting to rise. I lift up my right hand, and set everything on fire with black flames.
