Chapter 46
Tessy’s POV
“Tessy!! Tessy!!” Elizabeth’s urgent tone snapped me back to reality. Her tapping on my shoulder broke the trance induced by my father’s unsettling text message.
“What’s up?” I asked, shaking off the distraction.
“You’ve been glued to your phone,” Elizabeth noted, concerned showing in her voice. “Is everything okay?”
I hesitated, then revealed the text. Elizabeth’s eyes widened.
“Did you do something to upset your dad or Eddy?” she asked.
Eddy? I haven’t even thought about him in days. His memory barely registered amidst the excitement.
“You know what?” A sly smile spread across my face. “This is my moment. I’m not letting anyone ruin it.”
Elizabeth’s face lit up. “Exactly! It’s your moment, Tessy, go girl!!”
I turned off my phone, silencing the outside world. No more distractions.
“Tonight, we celebrate!” Elizabeth cheered, her voice filled with joy.
Just then, a dashing man in a tailored suit approached.
“Mr. Anthony requests your presence at the most exclusive club in town,” he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
“Fun activated!” I whispered to Elizabeth, winking.
“I can’t wait.” She replied.
“Let’s have wild fun!!” I yelled, shaking my ass with Elizabeth cheering as we followed him.
He led us to “Eclipse,” a members-only nightclub hidden behind a nondescript door.
Inside, pulsating lights and thumping beats electrified the air. We dove onto the dance floor, lost in the music.
Elizabeth and I danced hard, our laughter echoing through the crowded room.
Champagne and VIP treatment only fueled our celebration.
As the night wore on, we spun, twirled, and let go, our spirits soaring.
In this whirlwind of music and freedom, I forgot everything except the thrill of living.
“This is the best night ever!” Elizabeth yelled over the music.
I grinned, my heart racing. “It’s just getting started!”
Anthony whispered to my ear before leaving, I bit my lips knowing tonight would be crazy.
“I will be right back Elizabeth, I need to use the restroom.”
“Okay, just make it quick.” She said to me and I let out a smile.
Elizabeth will be so lost in the music to even miss me, I am sure of it.
I slipped into the VVIP lounge, empty and reserved but where was Anthony?
A figure emerged from the shadows carrying me in his arms and he said, “I can’t wait to eat you!!”
“Eat me, Daddy!!” I said being a naughty girl.
“That’s my girl!” He said with a wink and we had quickie sex after which I returned to the club to join Elizabeth, I was smiling all through thinking about the moments and all.
“Hey, you took time!” Elizabeth said with a frown.
“I am sorry about that, I didn’t know I spent time in the restroom.”
“You are lying…” She caught me red-handed but I just kept lying, refusing to accept the truth and she gave in.
Anthony’s driver brought us to my apartment safe and sound. We were kind of tipsy so we slept so deeply not knowing it was noon the next day.
I groggily opened my eyes, irritated by the relentless knocking on the door. Who could it be? Can’t I have one moment of peace in my rented apartment?
“Elizabeth, can you get that?” I begged, throwing off the covers.
Elizabeth yawned, stretching before heading to the door.
The knocking persisted, growing louder.
“Coming!” Elizabeth called out.
The door swung open, revealing Sophia’s beaming face.
“Congratulations, Tessy!” Sophia exclaimed. But why is she congratulating me? Did something take place?
“What’s going on?” I asked. Sophia held up her phone.”Your face is on the billboard! You’re trending online!”My sleepiness vanished instantly.
I leaped out of bed, rushing to Sophia.”Show me!” I demanded. Sophia handed me her phone.
My eyes widened as I scrolled through social media.
Countless posts and comments flooded on the Eternal Glow page.”Stunning!””Eternal Glow’s new face!”
“Tessy, you’re a star!”
My heart swelled with excitement.
Elizabeth grinned. “You’re famous, Tessy!”
Sophia nodded. “This is just the beginning!”
I couldn’t believe it. My life was about to change forever.
A few moments later when Sophia left, Elizabeth and I had already finished bathing and ordered food. We couldn’t believe we slept for so long. My phone started ringing and the caller was Dad, that was when I remembered he asked me to come see him immediately.
I took a deep breath and answered the call, “Hey Dad!!”
“Where are you?” He asked with anger written in his voice.
“I’m home dad, is everything well?” I had to ask because I don’t know why Dad suddenly changed his mood.
“I asked you to come see me and you turned off your phone??”
“I am sorry dad, I will be with you shortly..” He ended the call immediately. I told him that, how I wish I knew what was going on.
Elizabeth returned home and I rushed to my dad’s, I wanted to hug him but his expression told me to not bother myself, so I held back.
“Hey, Dad!”
“What is the meaning of the stuff you pulled online?”
“Dad, it’s a face modeling gig, you should be proud of your daughter.”
“It’s Anthony, right? He gave you the gig?”
How on earth did my father know the offer was from Anthony?
“Well, he is like my….” Dad didn’t let me finish my statement when he yelled at me, “How many times have I warned you to stay away from him??”
“Dad?? He is your best friend and he is close too.” I tried to explain but couldn’t bring out the forbidden romance part to him.
“Keep quiet young lady, also I noticed your change of phone and the things you wear, have you been taking things from him? Look I don’t care to know but stop it immediately, I forbid you to see him.” Dad warned but it sounded so unfair.
“Dad I can’t inherit your struggle with him, Anthony I mean Mr Anthony is a good person.” Damn, I almost exposed myself.
“You don’t know anything Tessy, it’s best you remain innocent, now for the last time, stay away from him..”
“No way Dad, at least he spends time with me compared to you father.”
“TESSY!!” He called but I angrily walked away.
