Tessy’s POV
All of a sudden, a loud ringtone from his phone interrupted us and we had to stop at once, we were already going crazy and if the phone didn’t ring at that time, I would have been moaning loud with him f**king me. Should I be happy about the whole turn of events or not? I really wanted to escape this reality for real…
“I am so sorry Tessy but I need to get this call!!” I saw how sorry he was, my guess, that call was really important to him.
“No problem, take your time, I will just dry off the water and you got lipstick on your lips.” I tease just to ease the tension in the room.
“Oh, it’s crazy!!” He said with laughter and answered the phone call, he looked a bit serious while speaking to the person over the phone and he ended the call saying,”Call for an emergency meeting now.”
He fixed his gaze on me and I could tell he doesn’t wish to leave but he has no choice at all.
“Is everything okay?”
“Yes , everything is okay, so I will send someone to get you a new dress, just wait for me here, I will be back.” He said and kissed my cheek before taking his leave. I took a deep breath and walked to the bathroom to freshen up and with the towel wrap on my body, a random lady walked in holding a dress and she said to me, “Sir Eddy asked me to get this for you Miss Tessy!!”
“Oh thank you so much, I appreciate it!!” She smiled at me before taking her leave. Wow, the dress looks so beautiful and I love the color red so well.
I fit into the dress without wasting any more time and sat on the couch bringing out my phone to keep myself busy while I await the return of Eddy. I ended up refreshing my WhatsApp chat just to see if Anthony would leave a message but he didn’t.
Wow, he is busy having so much fun that’s why he doesn’t care about talking to me, maybe I was just a tool he could use anytime he likes, I hate him so much!!!
I didn’t know the time I slept off on the couch. The nightmares I thought I’d long overcome resurfaced, more vivid and terrifying than ever.
I’m running down a desolate, dimly lit lane, my legs trembling beneath me. The masked figure, its iron fist clenched, closes in. My heart races, pounding in my chest. Every breath is a struggle.
Suddenly, Elizabeth’s desperate cry pierces the air. “Save me, Tessy!!!”
I freeze, my legs locked in fear. I shouldn’t have stopped, but Elizabeth’s voice was irresistible, she needed my help. I turn to face the horror.
The masked figure holds Elizabeth captive, its grip tightening around her neck. Her eyes bulged, pleading for help. She struggles to speak, her voice barely audible.
“Stop this!! Why are you doing this?!” I scream, tears streaming down my face.
The figure’s cold, soulless voice sends shivers down my spine. “You’re next!!”
With a swift, brutal twist, he snaps Elizabeth’s neck. Her lifeless body crumples to the floor. I scream, my voice hoarse from terror.
The figure turns to me, its iron fist reaching out. I try to run, but my legs won’t move. I’m trapped.
I felt someone’s arms wrap around me, holding me captive. I wake up, flailing and screaming, my heart still racing.
“Calm down, Tessy, it’s me, Eddy. It’s just a dream!!” Eddy’s soothing voice penetrates my panic.
I gasp for air, my body shaking uncontrollably. Tears stream down my face as Eddy comforts me but the horror lingers, etched in my mind like a fresh wound.
“Please stop crying, It’s just a dream!!” He said wiping off my tears and I nodded my head slowly.
I gazed up at Eddy, his apologetic eyes melting my heart. “I’m sorry I left you here all by yourself; it was an emergency board meeting.”
I forced a smile, not wanting him to worry. “It’s okay, you don’t need to explain.”
But he persisted, his brow furrowed with concern. “Are you sure? You should be mad at me.”
I reassured him with a gentle touch on his arm. “I’m not mad.”
“So tell me, what kind of nightmare were you having?” I know he asked because he cares but thinking of that scene of the masked figure really creeps me out and I don’t even want to think about it.
“Can we not talk about it?” I asked him and he nodded his head saying, “Sure, that’s not a problem at all, but if you feel like talking about it, do let me know okay?”
“Sure, I will let you know.” I smiled briefly, grateful for his understanding.
As we walked out, Eddy complimented my cooking. “Your skills are top-notch! I had no idea you could cook so well.”
My cheeks flushed with pride. “Thank you!”
In the elevator, Eddy engaged me in easy conversation, making me laugh.
As we stepped out, a group of ladies approached us. I assumed they were fans of Eddy’s, but to my surprise, they swarmed around me.
“It’s really her!!”
“OMG, it’s Tessy Jones!!” Another screamed attracting more people and I wondered what exactly they wanted from me, am I safe?
“Tessy Jones! I’m a huge fan!” One of the ladies said with a big grin.
“Me too, I am also a fan, I ordered foundation and powder from BeautyBliss after watching your live stream, and guess what? My first date went amazingly well!” one exclaimed.
I blushed, feeling shy but happy. “That’s wonderful! Congratulations.”
“I swear you are a goddess in a human form, I wish I was blessed with a face like yours!!”
“Thank you so much!!” The only words I kept repeating were thank you!! Tiring right!!
“You look so beautiful in real life Tessy, I always wished to meet you in reality, I need a favor from you please!!” She pleaded and I gave her the chance to speak.
“Please can I have a picture with you?” She requested and I nodded and others requested the same thing.
“A minute please,” I said to Eddy and he nodded his head with approval.
The ladies took so many pictures of me and made some videos as well, “Truly you need to be the face of New York City!” one of them suggested and I just smiled not knowing what to say.
“Thank you so much ladies, I really appreciate it.” I blushed so hard saying this, I guess discovering this part of me rocks so well, I think I need to consider getting more face gigs during my next holiday.
They asked so many questions and I just answered briefly, truly being in the spotlight is a huge task. The questions kept coming, but none caught me off guard like this very question asked by the tall lady,”Do you have a boyfriend?” I suddenly remembered my sugar daddy was my true lover but he cheated on me and it had been hours, not even a call from him. I didn’t know what to say, I remained mute and no words were coming out.
“If you are single, please date my brother, his wish is to meet you someday too!!”
My cheeks flamed as I stuttered, unsure how to respond to this particular lady but before I could muster an answer, Eddy swooped in, his voice low and possessive.
“I’m so sorry, but I have to take my woman now.”
The group’s eyes widened, surprise as they reacted with so much happiness.
“Aw, congratulations, Tessy! He is so handsome, a perfect match!!” one cooed.
Eddy’s arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me close. What did Eddy just do??
