Chapter 24
Tessy’s POV
The darkness enveloped me like a shroud, suffocating me. The masked figure loomed before me, his iron-clad hand grasping for me like skeletal fingers.
His eyes gleamed with malevolence, burning with an unholy intensity that made my skin crawl. The leader’s face contorted in a twisted grin, revealing yellowed teeth.
“You’ll never escape,” he taunted, his voice dripping with sadistic pleasure.
His hands touched me, sending shivers down my spine. I struggled, but they pinned me down, their grip like vice clamps.
The masked figure’s voice echoed in my mind, “You’re mine now.” His hot breath wafted against my skin, making my stomach churn.
His iron hand closed around my neck, squeezing the life out of me. I tried to scream, but my voice was silenced by some unseen force. Could this be Viper? He is scary and I am already caught by him, I can’t even cry for help
Elizabeth’s screams pierced the air, “Tessy, help!” I turned to see her struggling against the masked figure’s accomplices.
They held her down, their faces twisted in cruel grins. The masked figure raised his iron hand wear, its sharp edges glinting in the dim light.
“No, please!” I begged, but he brought the iron hand wear down, pressing it against Elizabeth’s neck.
Her eyes widened in terror, her face contorting in agony. Her screams faded into silence as her body went limp. “Why are you doing this? Why are you tormenting me? Why hurting my friend?” I cried out.
I jolted awake, gasping for air. Sweat drenched my body, and fear gripped my heart like a vice.
It was just a dream, I told myself, trying to calm my racing thoughts. But the memory lingered, haunting me.
Anthony’s words echoed in my mind, “You’re safe now.” But was I? The darkness outside seemed to press in, threatening to consume me.
I knew then that I couldn’t shake off the fear, not completely. The masked figure’s presence still lingered, watching and waiting.
And I knew that I’d never be truly safe again, what if the man in the mask is after my life? Oh no, Elizabeth is also in trouble! What should I do? I need to calm myself down and I am glad I no longer wear the bandage on my head.
I stepped out for a walk, clearing my mind. Suddenly, Sophia appeared, her curious gaze scrutinizing me.
“Tessy, you look pale,” Sophia said, concern etched on her face. “What happened?”
I brushed it off. “I’m fine. Just stressed.”
Sophia’s eyes narrowed. “I’m back from my trip. Didn’t you know?”
I shook my head. “No, I hadn’t heard. Welcome back.”
Sophia invited me in, and I hesitated, but her apartment seemed normal. She offered me a drink, and as I sipped, my eyes wandered.
That’s when I saw it a tool resembling the masked figure’s iron hand wear. My heart skipped a beat.
Sophia noticed my panic. “What’s wrong?”
I lied to her saying, “Just… your decor is interesting.”
Sophia chuckled. “Oh, this old thing? Just normal house tools.”
But my mind raced. Why did Sophia have something so similar to the masked figure’s weapon?
I couldn’t shake off the unease. “Sophia, I’m tired. Think I’ll head home now.”
Sophia’s gaze lingered, suspicious. “Okay, Tessy. Feel better.”

I sat across from Eddy at the cozy restaurant, trying to muster a smile. He reached for my hand, his eyes filled with love and concern. “Tessy, what’s wrong?” he asked, his voice gentle.
I shook my head, unable to articulate the darkness swirling inside me. The masked figure’s presence lingered, haunting my every waking moment. Eddy leaned in, his lips brushing against my ear. “I’m here for you, Tessy. Always.”
But his touch sent shivers down my spine. I screamed, pushing him away. “Eddy, I’m sorry!” I apologized, mortified.
Eddy’s expression remained calm, understanding. “It’s okay, Tessy. I know something’s bothering you.” “Take me home, please,” I insisted, desperation creeping into my voice.
Eddy nodded, signing the check. “Are you okay?” he asked as we walked out. I lied, forcing a weak smile. “Yes, I’m fine. Just tired.”
Eddy’s eyes searched mine, but he didn’t press. “I’ll get you home safe,” he promised. The car ride was silent, tension hanging between us.
As we pulled up to my apartment, Eddy turned to me. “Tessy, talk to me. What’s going on?” I shook my head, tears welling up. “I need time alone.”
“Is it because of our engagement coming soon?”
“Maybe!” I added.
Eddy nodded, his face etched with worry. “I’ll give you time, I am sorry I didn’t stop our forced marriage from coming to reality, I really like you and you will not regret being with me, I will leave now.” I nodded, feeling guilty for pushing him away.
As I stepped out of the car, Eddy’s whispered words followed me: “I really like you and I want to be there for you.”
I trudged into my apartment, exhaustion consuming me. Food held no appeal, so I collapsed onto the couch, surrendering to sleep.
The familiar nightmare engulfed me, but this time, I woke to gentle hands shaking me. “Tessy, wake up.” Anthony’s concerned face came into focus. “You’re burning up,” he said, his voice soft. “You have a fever.”
I tried to sit up, but dizziness washed over me. Anthony eased me back onto the couch, fetching a cold compress. As he cared for me, my fever slowly broke. His tenderness soothed my frazzled nerves.
Days passed, and Anthony nursed me back to health. When I felt better, he surprised me with a private jet
adventure.
As we soared through the skies in the luxurious private jet, Anthony’s eyes devoured me. “My baby doll looks stunning today,” he whispered.
The cabin’s intimacy ignited our passion. The flight attendants discreetly disappeared, leaving us alone. Anthony’s hands traced my curves, sending shivers down my spine.
“Tessy, you’re breathtaking,” he whispered, his lips caressing my neck. “Daddy can’t resist you.”
I smiled, my voice barely above a whisper. “I love you, Daddy.”
The jet’s smooth ride and Anthony’s gentle touch melted my fears. I surrendered to his desire.
He led me to the plush bedroom, where champagne and strawberries awaited. Soft music enveloped us, and the city lights twinkled below.
Anthony’s fingers danced across my skin, unbuttoning my blouse. His lips followed, leaving trails of fire.
“My baby doll’s skin is so soft,” he murmured.
My pants slipped away, revealing lace beneath. Anthony’s eyes widened, adoration shining bright.
“Perfect,” he breathed, his hands exploring every curve.
I arched into his touch, my body alive. Anthony’s mouth claimed mine, our kiss deepening.
“Daddy, I love you,” I whispered.
The jet’s gentle turbulence mirrored our passion’s rise. Anthony’s love wrapped around me, shielding me from fears.
In that luxurious sanctuary, we lost ourselves in each other. Our love soared higher than the jet. I have never been f**ked in a private jet but this was paradise, we had more rounds of hot sex.
Afterward, we lounged together, sipping champagne and watching the sunset.
Anthony’s arms cradled me, his heart beating against mine. “I won’t let harm come to you,” he whispered.
For the first time in weeks, I forgot my fears, lost in Anthony’s loving embrace. After our blissful getaway, reality beckoned. “It’s time to prepare for school tests,” I said, determination renewed. First thing first, I need to place my home in order, call my father and just say hi to him even if I am angry at him, then call Elizabeth to come over so we can read for our upcoming test.
