Chapter 722: Get Lost!

At this moment, whether it was the flexibility of his body or the contraction of his muscles, everything had returned to normal. Even the energy within him was fully restored.
But Kayden knew clearly that this was only a recovery to about seventy percent. He didn’t know how he was so certain-it was as though his body itself told him. Perhaps it was something called muscle memory.
Seventy percent!
This was only seventy percent of his body’s full strength!
Even at this level, he had already reached such incredible heights. What if he fully recovered? Wouldn’t his body ascend to an entirely new level?
There was no doubt about it-this was the work of the Ninefold Dragon-Chi within him. Landon Quinn had once mentioned that even his master had never awakened the Ninefold Dragon-Chi. If that were true, then the Ninefold Dragon-Chi had already begun to fuse with his body.
Even at his previous peak, Kayden’s body far surpassed ordinary humans, almost as though it had unlocked its full potential.
The human body’s potential is vast, but it only manifests under stimulation. For example, in one case reported years ago, a mother walking with her child saw a car pin her child underneath. Overcome with rage, she flipped the car over and rescued her child. In a normal situation, how could a woman possibly lift a car weighing several tons with her bare hands?
Another way to unlock potential is through the practice of Qi. Qi is a mysterious force that originates from the dantian and can develop the body’s potential. Like the supernatural abilities portrayed in television dramas, Qi allows one to manipulate objects and achieve incredible feats.
Kayden, however, had never practiced Qi. During those five years of imprisonment, he had only one thing fueling him: hatred.
He was fortunate to have met that mysterious old man. The old man had passed down everything he knew, allowing Kayden to inherit a lifetime’s worth of skills. Despite enduring unimaginable torment, he had survived. He had gone from an ordinary man to a level that most people could never attain in their entire lives. Perhaps this was what people referred to as the Master level.
“Kayden, are you alright? Do you feel unwell?” Leah asked nervously, noticing the change in his expression.
Kayden shook his head. “I’m fine. Feeling much better now.”
With that, he got out of bed on his own.
Seeing him rise, Leah was filled with concern. She quickly rushed forward to support him and asked anxiously, “Kayden, what are you doing? Do you need to go to the bathroom? I’ll help you!”
Kayden waved her off. “No need to help me. I’m fine now. Let me move around a bit on my own.”
As he spoke, he began to pace around the room.
The moment his feet touched the ground, a surge of energy flowed into his body from the floor. Instantly, he felt an overwhelming strength coursing through him.
However, there was one downside-he was hungry. After all, he hadn’t eaten in two days. No matter how strong he was, he was still made of flesh and blood.
So, he turned to the others and said, “Let’s go. Let’s grab something to eat. I’m starving.”
Wood Faulkner noticed Kayden’s complexion had greatly improved. “Sir, your condition…” she asked cautiously.
Kayden nodded slightly. “I’ve recovered seventy percent, but I feel like I’ve returned to my previous level.”
Wood Faulkner’s face lit up with joy, though she said nothing, only smiling warmly.
Returning to his previous level meant he was once again at his peak.
Kayden at his peak was unstoppable-a force to be reckoned with, feared on the battlefield and unmatched in the underworld.
The pinnacle of warlords-who could stand against him?
Looking at Kayden, Wood Faulkner couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of pride. Being one of Kayden’s subordinates was an honor that stirred her very soul.
Soon, the three of them arrived at a restaurant.
As they walked down the street, Kayden became the center of attention. Onlookers couldn’t take their eyes off him-whether they were sixty years old or fifteen.
Some gazed at him with envy, others with jealousy, admiration, or longing.
It wasn’t just because of him-it was also because of the two stunning women by his side.
There was Wood Faulkner, whose beauty needed no introduction. Once known for her alluring charm and icy demeanor, she was the undisputed beauty of the Southwest. She was a woman who could only be admired from afar.
Now, her allure was even more striking. She exuded an elegance and strength rarely seen in women-a magnetic aura that drove men wild.
Then there was Leah, an unexpected presence. Normally, any woman standing next to Wood Faulkner would pale in comparison. But Leah was different. Her delicate features were only slightly less striking than Wood Faulkner’s.
Moreover, Leah was still young. She hadn’t fully matured yet, but it was clear that she was destined to become a breathtaking beauty.
Seeing Kayden accompanied by such extraordinary women, how could anyone not be astonished?
Kayden himself wasn’t conventionally handsome, but he carried a unique aura. Perhaps it was the women around him that amplified his presence.
The three of them entered a restaurant. Kayden wasn’t particularly fond of the food served here, but Wood Faulkner had no say in the matter. It was Leah who had chosen the place and led them here.
As soon as they walked in, Kayden was hit with a sudden realization-this restaurant belonged to him!
Or rather, it was co-owned by him and Sophie Walsh. Technically, Sophie had only contributed two dollars, but Kayden still remembered the place vividly.
Leah chirped, “Kayden, let me tell you, the food here is amazing! Don’t be fooled by how ordinary it looks. The pork knuckles are to die for. I came here with some friends recently, and it was so good. You’ve got to try it!”
The variety of dishes being served was all part of Kayden’s original concept for the restaurant. As for the specifics, he had no idea.
Before long, a young man in a crisp suit approached their table. His badge identified him as the manager.
He was in his early twenties, not particularly handsome but with dark skin and a muscular build-clearly someone who trained regularly.
Standing by their table, the man pulled out his phone and displayed a QR code in front of Leah. Smiling, he asked, “Miss, could I have your contact information? I’ve been watching you since you walked in!”
“I’m the manager here. If you leave your number, I’ll treat you all to this meal!”
Leah glanced at Kayden, seeking his reaction. Seeing his expressionless face, she turned back to the manager and said coldly, “Get lost!”
The single word rang out, sharp and unyielding.
