“You should eat something, Stella!” Remus found his youngest daughter outside their house while drinking her coffee. “I already have my meal!” Stella answered and showed the cup of coffee that she was holding to her father. “Theo will visit you today so you better prepare yourself!” Remus told his daughter, and Stella didn’t say anything. “Did you hear me?” Remus added, which made Stella look at him.
“Yeah, I will!” Stella answered and rolled her eyes at her father, “Good!” Remus said and went inside their house. Stella was looking around when she saw a male figure approaching their house. She immediately stood up from the bench and ran into their house. “What happened?” Her father asked her, but she didn’t have the chance to answer him. Stella went directly to the bathroom and opened the shower.
Remus was confused about why Stella acted like that. He was going to the kitchen when someone knocked on the door. He went to the main door to open it and was surprised when he saw Theo there. “Oh! You are the reason why she runs that fast!” Remus told him, and Theo was confused at what Remus told him.
“I did something wrong?” Theo asked him, and Remus shook his head. “Don’t mind it! Come inside!” Remus answered and opened the main door widely for him. They went to the living room, and Remus offered the couch to Theo. “Thank you!” Theo told him, and Remus nodded his head. “Stella is just preparing. You can wait for her here!” Remus told him and went to the kitchen.
Remus was looking for something to offer to Theo when Stella appeared beside him. “Is there something to give to Theo?” She asked her father, and they both looked around in the kitchen. “You can cook for him!” Remus answered, which made Stella look at him. “We don’t have anything in the fridge!” Stella answered, and Remus opened the fridge.
“Why don’t you invite him to accompany you to the grocery store?” Remus told his daughter, and Stella rolled her eyes at her father. “Fine!” Stella answered and raised her hand in front of her father. Remus looked at her hand, “What?” He asked his daughter.
“I need money to buy our supplies!” Stella answered, and Remus shook his head in disbelief. He got his wallet and gave his daughter some money for the groceries. Stella went to the living room and saw Theo looking around. “Do you want to come with me?” Stella asked him, and Theo immediately nodded his head. “Where are we going?” Theo asked him and stood up from the couch.
They walked into the main door, and Stella opened it for them. “Buying groceries!” Stella answered and smiled at him. Theo also smiled at her and couldn’t hide his amusement at Stella. “Are you asking me for a date?” Theo asked her, which made Stella glare at him. “I am not asking you for a date!” Stella answered, and they started walking away.
“Then I will ask you out for a date. Are you free tonight?” Theo asked her, and they stopped walking. “Are you asking me for a date?” Stella couldn’t believe what she heard from him. “Of course!” Theo answered while nodding his head. “The heck!” Stella whispered, but Theo could hear it. “Why?” Theo asked her, and they looked at each other.
“It is the first time that someone asks me out!” Stella answered, and Theo just looked at her. He was trying to see if Stella was telling the truth, “For real?” He asked her, and Stella nodded her head. “Brandon didn’t ask you for a date?” Theo asked her out of curiosity, and Stella couldn’t answer him right away.
Theo realised that his question was too much for Stella, “You don’t need to answer it—
“You are right! He never asks me for a date!” Stella answered while looking at the ground. “I’m sorry for asking you that kind of question.” Theo told her, and Stella immediately smiled at him. “It is fine, don’t worry!” Stella answered, and they started walking again.
They reached the grocery store, and Theo was pushing the cart while Stella was getting all she needed. “Do you like doing the house chores?” Theo asked her while they were walking in the meat section. “Yeah, I don’t have any talent, so I need to learn to do the house chores.” Stella answered and stopped walking to look for good quality meat.
“What are you doing?” Theo asked her and went beside her, “I’m just checking if this is fresh!” Stella answered and looked at him. She was caught off guard when Theo was so close to her. She stepped back, and Theo noticed it. “I made you uncomfortable, right?” Theo asked her, and Stella immediately shook her head.
“I’m fine!” Stella answered and put the meat in the cart. They walked again into the vegetable section. They were enjoying their company when they bumped into Brandon, who was also buying supplies.
“I didn’t expect to see you here, brother!” Brandon told him, and Theo just nodded his head. “The feeling is mutual!” Theo answered and looked at Brandon’s cart. “Let’s go!” Stella told Theo, and Theo nodded his head. “Bye!” Theo told his brother and smirked at Brandon.
Brandon couldn’t take his eyes off them until they disappeared from his sight, “Where are you looking at?” Daisha appeared and put some table napkins on the cart. “Nothing!” Brandon answered and they walked together.
Stella was going to pay for their groceries when Theo handed his card to the cashier, “Hey! You shouldn’t do that!” Stella told him, but Theo just smiled at her. “It is fine!” Theo told her, and Stella shook her head in disbelief.
“I ask my friend to bring my car here so let’s wait for him!” Theo said, and Stella didn’t have a choice but to agree with him. “Thank you!” Stella told him, which made Theo look at her. “You don’t need to thank me, Stella! You already gave me a huge favour!” Theo told her, and Stella was confused by what he said. “What do you mean?” Stella asked him, “You accepted me to be your mate, and I am thankful to you for doing that.” Theo answered, and Stella couldn’t say anything about it.
Stella didn’t experience that with Brandon, and she felt hurt because someone could do that for her, but Brandon couldn’t. “He’s here!” Theo said, and a car stopped in front of them. A man got out of the car and handed the car key to Theo. “Thanks, man!” Theo told the man and looked at Stella. “Stella, meet my friend. His name is George!” Theo added, and George offered his hand to Stella.
“Nice to meet you, Stella!” George greeted her, and Stella accepted his hand. “Nice to meet you too, George!” Stella answered and smiled at him. “How will you go home?” Theo asked his friend, and they were startled when another car stopped in front of them. “I have backups!” George answered and winked at Theo. “That’s witty! Be safe!” Theo told him, and George nodded his head. “I will go now, enjoy your date!!” George said, which made Stella blush.
She looked away and didn’t try to look at Theo again. The car drove away while Theo opened the door for Stella. “Are you not going inside?” Theo asked her, and Stella immediately looked at him. “Oh! Sorry!” Stella told him and went inside the car.
Theo closed the door and went to the other side of the car. Stella was watching him and when he got inside the car, she immediately looked away. “Are you okay?” Theo asked her while smiling because he noticed that Stella became awkward with him. “Yep!” Stella answered while looking outside the car.
Theo started the engine and drove back to Stella’s place. “So, what is your answer to my invitation?” Theo asked her while driving, “Yeah! Just drive me home after!” Stella answered while looking away. “Why can’t you look at me?” Theo asked her and laughed.
“Oh! I’m sorry!” Stella answered and tried to look at him, but she couldn’t handle looking at him. “Are you sure that you are okay?” Theo asked her and took a glance at her. “Of course, I am fine!” Stella answered and they reached her place.
Stella saw a familiar car outside their house, and Theo parked his car next to it. “You have guests!” Theo told her, and Stella nodded her head. “Come with me!” She told her, and Theo agreed with her.
Theo was carrying all the heavy baggage while Stella was carrying the light one. She opened the door for them, and they immediately saw Brandon in the living room. “Nice to see you again, Brother!” Theo told him, but Brandon didn’t say anything.
“You went shopping?” Daisha appeared and looked at Stella. “I don’t need to answer that!” Stella answered and guided Theo into the kitchen.
“You have bad blood with your sister?” Theo whispered at her, which made Stella startled. “I think so!” She answered and started putting all the supplies they bought from the groceries store inside the fridge. “You are way better than her!” She froze after hearing those words from Theo. “What did you say?” Stella asked him, and Theo smiled at her.
“You are better than her! I can feel it!” Theo repeated what he said and put all the coke they bought inside the fridge. Stella couldn’t move, and Theo noticed it. “Why? Is there something wrong?” Theo asked her, and Stella shook her head. “Thank you!” She told him, and they looked at each other.
“I will just get some water!” Daisha told Brandon, but Brandon stopped her. “Let me get some. I know that you are tired!” Brandon told her, which made Daisha smile at him. “That is so thoughtful of you, thank you!” Daisha told him, and Brandon went to the kitchen.
He entered the kitchen and froze when he saw Theo kiss Stella on the lips. He didn’t say anything and walked past them, “Hey! Where are your manners?” Theo asked him. “Get a room!” Brandon said and looked at Stella.
Stella couldn’t look at Brandon after he caught Theo kissing her. “Dang!” She whispered to herself and looked at Theo. “Can we reschedule our date?” Stella asked him, and Brandon was still there. “Yeah, of course! I can wait!” Theo answered her, “Great! Bye!” Stella told him and walked away.
Remus went to the kitchen and saw Theo talking to Brandon. “Thank you Theo for your effort!” Remus thanked him, and Theo smiled at Remus. “No problem! I will be back again!” Theo said, and Remus nodded his head. “You are always welcome here!” Remus answered and looked at Brandon.
“Just make sure that you will not go here with him.” Remus said and pointed out to Brandon, “What’s wrong with him being here, Dad?” Daisha appeared and defended Brandon from her father. “Are you going home now, Theo?” Remus didn’t mind his daughter and focused on Theo.
“Yes, Stella is in her room now.” Theo answered, and Remus nodded his head. “I will accompany you to the main door.” Remus said and started walking away.
Daisha couldn’t believe what her father did to Brandon. “Let’s go home!” She told Brandon, but Brandon was spacing out. She snapped her fingers in front of him and that’s when Brandon looked at her.
“I said, let’s go home!” Daisha repeated what she said, and Brandon nodded his head. They left the house, and Remus didn’t bid his goodbyes to them.
The next day came, and Stella couldn’t sleep after what happened in the kitchen. She felt sorry for Brandon, but she immediately removed Brandon from her mind. “I don’t care about him now.” She told herself and held her lips.
“Gosh! Theo is making me insane!” She said and rolled on her bed. “I need to call Flora!” She added and got her phone.
Stella called Flora, and Flora didn’t take long to answer Stella’s call.
