Stella got home from a road trip with Sky and Flora. She went inside their house and saw her things outside her room. “Finally, you came home!” Her father appeared from the kitchen, “Why did you put all my things-
“Brandon will pick you up, so prepare yourself!” Remus cut what his daughter was saying and went to the living room. “He told me that I should stay here!” Stella told her father and followed him into the living room. “He also told me that he will get you later!” Remus said and sat on the couch.
Stella rolled her eyes at her father and went to her room. She took a bath and got all her things, “He really wants me to leave his house!” She told herself while putting her clothes in her luggage. “Where are you going?” Daisha asked her as soon as she left her room.
“Dad doesn’t want me to stay here!” Stella answered and smiled at her sister. “Then where will you stay?” Daisha asked her again, and that’s when a car stopped outside their house. “I need to go now!” Stella told her sister and walked towards the main door. Daisha followed her until they got out of their house, “Hey!” Brandon greeted Stella and looked at Daisha.
“Are you going to stay with him?” Daisha asked her sister again, and Stella nodded her head. “And I can’t do anything about it.” Stella added and went inside Brandon’s car. Daisha couldn’t remove her stare at Brandon, “Are you not going to greet me?” Daisha asked him, which made Brandon freeze.
“Oh! I almost forgot, hi!” Brandon told her and nodded his head. “We will go now!” He added and went inside his car. He started the engine, and Stella was just watching him. “Are you going to stare at me until we reach the mansion?” Brandon asked her, and Stella cleared her throat.
“Let’s go!” Stella told him, and Brandon started driving away. Daisha shook her head in disbelief while watching Brandon’s car leave. “What game is he playing right now?” She asked herself and went inside their house.
“Can we stop at the convenience store?” Stella asked him while they were on their way to the mansion. “What are you going to buy?” Brandon asked her, “When did you start being curious about me?” Stella asked him back, and Brandon couldn’t stop himself from laughing. “You are so bold!” Brandon told her while shaking his head. “Just drop me at the convenience store!” Stella told him, and Brandon nodded his head.
They reached the convenience store, and Brandon stopped the car. “I will be back!” Stella said and went outside the car. “I will go with you!” Brandon said and followed her. Stella was confused about Brandon’s action towards her, “Are you sure that you are okay?” She asked him while they were getting a cart.
“Huh? What are you saying?” Brandon asked her, “Nothing!” Stella immediately told him. After picking up all the things she needed, they went to the cashier to pay for them. “You can wait for me outside!” Stella told him, but Brandon disagreed with her.
When the cashier was asking for a card or cash, Stella immediately gave her card to the cashier. “That was fast!” Brandon told her and laughed at her. “Don’t pay for me! I can buy it with my own money!” Stella told him, and Brandon didn’t say anything about it.
They were in the parking lot when they saw Tyros with Flora. “Stella!” Flora immediately called her, “Hey!” Stella told her and hugged her. “I didn’t expect that I would see you here!” Tyros told Brandon and they did their handshake. “I just accompany her!” Brandon answered and pointed out Stella.
“Wow! You can do that to Brandon! I am pretty amazed at you, Stella!” Tyros told her, which made Stella smirk at her. “Nah! It will not last long.” Stella answered and looked at Flora. “We need to go!” She added and patted Flora’s shoulder.
“Yeah! Bye for now!” Flora told her, and Stella nodded her head. They went to Brandon’s car, and Brandon started the engine of his car. Stella was looking outside when Brandon talked to her. “Why did you say that?” He asked her, and Stella was confused about what he was saying. “What do you mean?” Stella asked him too.
“You didn’t trust me!” Brandon told her, which made Stella smirk at him. “Can we just not talk about it?” Stella said and looked at him seriously. They reached the mansion, and Brandon parked his car in front of it. A lot of maids went out to help them with their groceries. Alpha Raven greeted them in the living room, “Long time no see, Stella!” Alpha Raven told her, and Stella smiled at him. “Nice to see you again, Alpha Raven!” Stella greeted him and looked at the maids that were holding her groceries. “I bought some ingredients because I want to cook here if you don’t mind.” Stella added, and Alpha Raven nodded his head.
“You don’t need to ask permission from me. You are free to do anything here. You just need to talk to your mate.” Alpha Raven answered and tapped Brandon’s shoulder. “Oh! I didn’t know about that! Anyways, thank you!” Stella answered, and Alpha Raven smiled at her. “I will attend a meeting so I will go now.” Alpha Raven told them and walked towards the main door.
When Alpha Raven left, Brandon looked at Stella who was busy looking at her phone. “Let’s go to our room!” Brandon told her, which made Stella look at him. “Our?” Stella whispered, and Brandon nodded his head. “We are pretending, right?” Brandon also whispered to her, “Oh! I almost forgot, silly me!” Stella said and tapped her forehead.
They went upstairs, and the maids were following them. Brandon opened a room, and Stella couldn’t stop herself from admiring how huge the room was. “Is this your room?” Stella asked him while looking around. “Yeah, you can do whatever you want here!” Brandon told her, and Stella stopped walking around.
Brandon instructed the maids to put all the things Stella bought on the floor. Stella also gave them the meat she bought, so they could put it in the fridge. “I will just go with Tyros in the woods.” Brandon said after helping her with her things. “Have fun!” Stella said and lay on the bed.
“Are you not mad-
“No!” Stella cut him, and Brandon just nodded his head. “Okay, I will be back before dinner.” He said and walked towards the door.
Stella was left alone in Brandon’s room. She decided to take rest for a while so she lay on the bed. She was looking at the ceiling for a couple of seconds and went to sleep.
Brandon met Tyros in the woods, but he didn’t expect that Daisha would be there. “Are you ignoring me, huh?” Daisha asked him right away, “No! I’m just busy!” Brandon told her, but Daisha didn’t believe him. “Are you going to dump me now?” Daisha asked him again, and that’s when Tyros appeared.
Tyros felt the tension between them, so he didn’t try to call Brandon. “What are you saying? You are the only woman that I love, Daisha! I am just doing this because of my father.” Brandon answered and held her arm. “Then why are you ignoring me? It hurts me a lot!” Daisha told him and started crying.
Brandon immediately closed her in his arms, “I’m sorry if you felt that way!” He said and caressed her back. “Don’t do that again!” Daisha said while sobbing. “Yeah, I’m sorry!” Brandon assured her, and that’s when he looked at Tyros.
He stopped hugging Daisha and looked at her seriously, “I need to do something right now. Can we talk some other time?” He asked her, and Daisha nodded her head. “I will wait for you!” Daisha answered and held his face.
“I’m going now!” She added and started walking away. “That was so intense!” Tyros said as soon as Daisha left. “So, what did you get?” Brandon asked him right away.
“There are the rogues that you fought last time and they seek revenge. They found out that Stella was your mate so they used her as bait.” Tyros explained to him, and Brandon was listening to Tyros attentively. “Dang! I didn’t expect that it would come that way.” Brandon said and caressed his hair.
“You are having a rough time with Daisha?” Tyros asked him, and Brandon nodded his head. “I need to end things with Stella as soon as possible.” Brandon answered, and Tyros just looked at him seriously.
“I’m not really supporting you at what you are doing right now but if you are going to do the right thing then you have my support.” Tyros told him and patted his shoulder. “What is your plan then?” He added and waited for Brandon’s answer.
“I forced Stella to be with me in the mansion so my father would see how we were uncomfortable with each other.” Brandon said, and Tyros felt guilty for Stella. “She doesn’t deserve that!” Tyros whispered, but Brandon still heard it. “I told you, she also wants this situation!” Brandon told him, and Tyros just nodded his head.
“If you need anything, just call me!” Tyros said and bid his goodbyes to Brandon. He started walking away and shook his head when he remembered Stella. “That jerk! Stella deserves better!” Tyros told himself while walking away.
Brandon decided to go home so he could help Stella with cooking. He went inside the mansion when he saw his father in the living room. “Leaving your mate alone again!” Alpha Raven told him, “I just met Tyros!” Brandon answered his father.
“What if she gives up on you? What are you going to do?” Alpha Raven asked his son, and it took time for Brandon to answer his father’s question. “I will not force her if he doesn’t like me anymore.” Brandon answered, which made Alpha laugh at him.
“Are you sure about that?” Alpha Raven asked him again, and Brandon nodded his head. “Okay, I will throw a party tomorrow so you need to be here!” Alpha Raven added, “I will!” Brandon answered his father.
Brandon went to his room and found Stella sleeping on his bed. “She must be tired because of her road trip with Sky.” He told himself and went to the bathroom to take a bath.
After taking a bath, Brandon went out of the bathroom and only a white towel was covering his lower body. He was walking into his closet when Stella woke up and their eyes met.
Stella’s gaze went down, and Brandon immediately covered his thing. “Where are you-
Brandon didn’t finish what he was saying when Stella dozed off to bed. “Is she still sleeping?” He asked himself and shook his head.
Stella couldn’t open her eyes after what she saw earlier. She was cursing a lot in her mind and listened to the noise that Brandon was making.
‘Why did I wake up at the wrong time?’
She kept asking herself, and she was lucky to think immediately about what she should do to not be embarrassed in front of him. She heard a door open and close, she opened her eyes and Brandon wasn’t there anymore.
“Dang! That was close!” Stella told herself and stood up from the bed. She went inside the bathroom, and the aroma of Brandon’s shampoo welcomed her. “He smelled nice!” She said while looking in the mirror.
Stella washed her face and went outside the bathroom. “So, you are really awake?” She was startled when Brandon appeared. “Huh?” Stella asked him and tried to hide the truth.
Brandon looked at her seriously and tried to figure her out. “What did you see earlier?” He asked her, “The ceiling?” Stella answered. Brandon started laughing at her, and Stella felt uncomfortable in front of him.
“Well, I hope you enjoy the show!” Brandon told her and got his phone on the side table. Stella shook her head in disbelief and watched Brandon leave the room.
