Book:Oops, My Sugar Baby is Alpha Published:2025-4-9

At night, Isabella and Andrew had just finished an intense sex. They lay naked under the covers, chatting. Just as they were kissing passionately, the phone vibrated, interrupting them.
Andrew, slightly annoyed, answered the call. Whatever the other person said made him glance at Isabella subconsciously.
“Andrew, what happened?” Isabella asked after he hung up.
“Victoria was injured and admitted to the hospital,” Andrew replied.
“Is it easy to get injured in custody?” Isabella asked, puzzled.
“She was courting death; no one could stop her,” Andrew said coldly. “Victoria requested to see Charlotte multiple times but was denied. She must have resorted to self-harm as a last-ditch effort. Once admitted to the hospital, she can see family according to regulations.”
“Victoria is still hoping David will get her out,” Isabella said with a cold laugh. “She wants to see family, right? I’m also her family. Tomorrow, I’ll go see her at the hospital.”
The next day, Isabella got up unusually early. Andrew personally drove her to the hospital entrance.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to go up with you?” Andrew asked, still a bit uneasy. At this point, Victoria was desperate, and Andrew worried she might harm Isabella.
Isabella shook her head. “I need to settle things between us. She’s at her wit’s end now; what can she possibly do to me?”
Before getting out of the car, Isabella wrapped her arms around Andrew’s neck and gave him an affectionate kiss on the cheek, smiling. “I’ll come to your office after this, and we’ll have lunch together.”
“Okay.” Andrew nodded, smiling as he watched her enter the hospital before driving away.
Isabella took the elevator to the ward on the seventeenth floor. Two officers stood guard outside Victoria’s room.
Isabella presented her ID, and after verification, they let her in, reminding her, “Visiting time is limited to half an hour, so make it brief.”
Isabella took back her ID, nodded with a smile, and pushed open the door to enter the room.
Inside, the room was stark white, with a pungent smell of disinfectant in the air.
Victoria lay on the bed, her head wrapped in bandages, her face pale and gaunt. It was evident that prison life had been hard on her.
Isabella walked into the room, her high heels clicking, and sat down by the bed, looking at Victoria coldly.
Victoria had been staring at the ceiling, but upon seeing Isabella, her expression twisted with rage. “Isabella, you’re here to mock me, aren’t you!”
“Yeah, you are a joke now,” Isabella replied with a cold laugh.
“Victoria, you’re clever and scheming, but you never used your wit for the right things. To satisfy your desires, you resorted to all means. To fulfill your vanity, you seduced Caleb despite knowing he had a fiancee. Caleb, apart from his family background, is a complete scumbag.
“So, Victoria, your downfall is entirely self-inflicted.”
“Isabella, who are you to lecture me!” Victoria struggled to sit up, one handcuffed to the bed, the metal clinking loudly.
Victoria glared at Isabella with such hatred it seemed she wanted to devour her. “Isabella, you’re nothing! Your mother pretended to be a noble lady, but she was just a whore. If she hadn’t interfered, I wouldn’t be a bastard child.”
Isabella frowned, her cold laugh echoing in the room.
“Victoria, you have a knack for twisting the truth. David abandoned you and your mother for wealth and power, yet you blame my mother instead.
If my mother had known David had a girlfriend, she would never have become his mistress. If your mother felt wronged, why didn’t she stop them before their marriage? Instead, after my grandfather died, when my mother was alone and vulnerable, your mother and you two showed up.
All these years, you used Moonlit Art Inc.’s resources to become the top actress. Your mother and sister lived lavishly on the Allen family’s money while constantly insulting us. You all are truly shameless.
Not only are you shameless, but you’re also ruthless. For a role, you wanted my mother dead. Victoria, do you have a heart of stone?”
Victoria looked at her with astonishment, then burst into laughter. “So, you know everything! No wonder you’ve been plotting against me! Yes, I killed your mother. She deserved to die; anyone who gets in my way deserves to die!”
“Victoria, aren’t you afraid of karma?” Isabella asked in a low voice.
“Karma? Where’s the karma?” Victoria rested her chin on her hand, her smile turning sinister. “Torin is dead, no one can accuse me. I’ll be acquitted soon. Isabella, even if you marry Andrew, what can you do? Would he dare to openly harm me?”
“So what if Torin is dead? David and his friend, the Minister, are already under control by the Public Security Bureau. Are you still counting on David to save you? Stop dreaming; he can’t even save himself now,” Isabella said calmly but firmly.
Victoria’s arrogant demeanor suddenly extinguished, her expression turning horribly fierce. “Isabella, what did you say?!”
“Haven’t you heard clearly?” Isabella sneered, repeating herself, “David can’t save you. No one can save you. You’ll spend the rest of your life in prison.”
“Don’t scare me with empty threats. How could you possibly bring down David unless you’re insane?” Victoria’s dry hands gripped the bed rail, her voice sharp and cutting. “The Turner family would never accept the duaghter of a corrupt felon as their daughter-in-law. With a father in prison for corruption, your reputation is ruined. I don’t believe you’d sacrifice everything to bring us down.”
“So, this is your reason for feeling invincible?” Isabella shook her head contemptuously.
Victoria dared to provoke David because she was confident Isabella would protect him for the sake of her reputation and face.
“Victoria, all you see is profit, but not everyone is like you. What I want is to see justice served against you,” Isabella said.
“We may be in trouble, but will you fare any better? Shunned by the public, losing your wealth and status, where will your fate be better than ours?” Victoria cursed fiercely, as if she needed Isabella to suffer for her to find balance in her own mind.
Isabella looked at her calmly, a peace she had never felt before settling in her heart. Her mother’s death had been like a thorn in her heart, but now, the mastermind behind it, Victoria, was finally facing punishment.
