Later, they talked about Isabella’s concert.
“That brat’s concert has been making a lot of noise recently. She’s only been an actress for a short time, and she’s already stealing your spotlight. Your uncle doesn’t know what’s going on. If he doesn’t make an effort to suppress her now, what if she becomes successful in the future? How will we deal with her then?” Charlotte said indignantly.
“With Andrew backing her, she’s already successful. With so many sponsors for just one concert, it’s all thanks to Andrew’s connections. When he wants to promote his woman, he can make her shine,” Victoria said with a smile, her eyes hiding shrewdness and calculation. “Her success benefits us too.”
“What nonsense are you talking about? How could Isabella help us?” Charlotte shook her head.
“We don’t need her to help us with anything. We just need to ride her success. Even if our relationship isn’t good, in the eyes of outsiders, I’m still Andrew’s wife’s sister. Who dares to disrespect me?” Victoria said casually, with a triumphant smile playing on her lips.
Even if Isabella climbed to great heights, she was still being used and controlled by Victoria.

Isabella never imagined that Victoria would shamelessly use her and Andrew’s name to promote herself.
This time, the charity film Victoria made was sponsored by an investor, who happened to be the uncle of the executive director of the Turner family consortium.
In the business world, where profit was paramount, such a charity film, which had no profitability, would not usually attract investors. It was evident whose name Victoria was using to secure this sponsorship.
Over the phone, Isabella angrily told Andrew about this.
He just chuckled casually. Such things seemed to be within his expectations. After all, with great influence came great scrutiny. Over the years, many distant relatives who had connections with the Turner family had taken advantage of their name for personal gain. Andrew was already accustomed to Victoria’s behavior.
“Victoria is quite resourceful.”
“She’s thick-skinned, not resourceful!” Isabella said angrily.
“If she didn’t have some resourcefulness, she wouldn’t have been able to deceive you for so many years,” he said with a faint smile.
Thinking about it, she should thank Emily for intervening. If it weren’t for Emily, she would still be oblivious, like a fool, not realizing the true nature of Charlotte and her daughters, nor how easily swayed James was.
“You’re still mocking me. Andrew, you need to find a way to deal with this situation quickly. Otherwise, I’ll break up with you, and we’ll see how she continues to use the Turner family name in the future,” Isabella said angrily.
He shook his head helplessly. It was childish of her to casually mention the word ‘breakup’. Although he had never been in a romantic relationship, he had had a fiancee before.
Andrew had only mentioned breaking up with Scarlett once, and then they became complete strangers.
“Okay, I understand. Get some rest early. You need to be well-rested for the concert tomorrow,” he said gently, with a hint of compromise in his tone.
Most of the time, he couldn’t do anything about her.
“Okay,” Isabella replied sullenly. She actually wanted to ask him if he could come back tomorrow to see her concert, as her first concert held a special significance. But she didn’t want to delay his work or make him go through trouble because of her.
After hanging up the phone, Isabella lay in bed and couldn’t help but feel that she was a good wife.
That night, she slept relatively well.
The next morning, she got up and began to busy herself.
The concert was in the evening, but preparations started early.
In the morning, Isabella had her final rehearsal, and there were no mistakes. Olivia accompanied her throughout.
Despite being well-prepared, standing on the stage and seeing the sea of heads below made her unable to help feeling nervous.
She instinctively reached up to adjust the earpiece on her ear and took a deep breath. Then, silently in her heart, she recited a name: Andrew.
She didn’t know why she suddenly thought of him at this moment; his name and face just intruded into her mind without warning.
Silently thinking of him seemed to fill her with courage.
The concert proceeded extremely smoothly, and she performed almost supernaturally, igniting the atmosphere of the venue entirely.
Olivia even felt that she was naturally born for this.
After the concert ended, the audience began to leave one after another.
As Isabella walked into the backstage area, she saw Mrs. Brown and James walking towards her.
James held a large bouquet, not of roses but of pink lilies.
Throughout the concert, Isabella had been dancing and singing, almost exhausted, yet she still greeted James and his mother with a smile.
“Mrs. Brown, James. Welcome to my concert,” Isabella said.
“Isabella.” Mrs. Brown was both happy and excited as she hugged her, “I sat in the audience and watched you on stage, you were simply radiant.”
“Auntie, please don’t praise me anymore, or I’ll become conceited,” she said sweetly, holding Mrs. Brown’s hand.
“Isabella, congratulations on your successful performance,” James said as he handed her the flowers, along with a red invitation card.
Surprisingly, it was a wedding invitation card, with James and another unfamiliar name written on it.
Isabella took the invitation card, her eyes showing a momentary surprise. She hadn’t heard any news about James being in a relationship, let alone receiving a wedding invitation so suddenly.
“James, congratulations to you,” she said.
“Thank you.” James smiled, his expression somewhat blurred.
Isabella didn’t pay much attention to James’s emotions but instead affectionately held Mrs. Brown’s hand. “James is getting married, Auntie, when the bride enters, you won’t have to worry anymore.”
Mrs. Brown nodded with a smile, her eyes filled with laughter lines. Clearly, she was very satisfied with the new bride. As for whether James was satisfied or not, that was not something Isabella should be concerned about.
James had been satisfied with Emily at the beginning, but what kind of woman was Emily! It was evident that his eyes were naturally skewed, and Mrs. Brown’s choice of women was more reliable.
“With James’s matters settled, it also resolves one of my concerns. Isabella, what about you? When are you planning to get married?” Mrs. Brown asked, holding her hand with a look of concern and affection in her eyes.
Isabella wanted to tell her that she would get married right away, without delay. But after some thought, she was a girl, and it was better to be reserved.
“Mrs. Brown, I’m still young, no hurry,” she said.
“You’re young, but Andrew isn’t. Hasn’t he mentioned it to you?” Mrs. Brown raised her eyebrows. Andrew’s status was too high, and Mrs. Brown had never been at ease with Isabella dating him, fearing that he was just playing with her feelings.
Although the Brown family couldn’t be considered a prominent family, at critical moments, she had to stand up for Isabella, otherwise, she would be letting Eleanor down.
Isabella blushed, finding it awkward to answer Mrs. Brown’s question.
