Allison
Lying on the floor, feeling dazed and disoriented, I saw Gideon’s frantic face hovering above me. “Allison, oh God, Allison, please be okay!” he exclaimed, his voice laced with panic.
I tried to sit up, but a wave of pain washed over me, forcing me to lie back down. Gideon gently cradled my head in his lap, his eyes scanning my face for any sign of serious injury.
“What… what happened?” I stammered, my mind foggy.
“You walked into the road, and a motorcycle hit you,” Gideon explained, his voice trembling. “I was screaming at you to stop, but you didn’t hear me.”
I closed my eyes, memories of the past hour flooding back. The revelations, the shock, the nausea… it all came crashing down on me like a tidal wave.
Gideon’s gentle voice cut through the chaos. “Allison, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have told you everything at once. I was wrong to dump all this on you.”
“It’s okay,” I sighed, shaking my head.
My gaze went in front, and I saw that I was still sitting up on the road. Cars had stopped around me, and the motorcycle rider approached, concern etched on his face. “Are you alright?” he asked.
Gideon also looked at me, his gaze looking worried.
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” I reassured them, rubbing my aching head. Thankfully, the impact hadn’t been direct, but I’d still hit my head on the ground.
I stood up, determined to shake off the dizziness. Gideon followed me as I started walking away. “Are you sure you’re alright, Allison?” he asked, his voice laced with concern.
“I’m fine, just leave me alone, please,” I replied, trying to sound calmer than I felt. But the truth was, my head throbbed with a piercing pain, as if it was splitting into two.
However, the physical pain was nothing compared to the emotional turmoil brewing inside me. The revelations about my past still reeled in my mind, each word a fresh wound.
I stopped and turned to Gideon, my eyes pleading. “Please, stop following me. I just want to be alone. Can’t you do that for me?”
He opened his mouth to speak, but I interrupted him. “Just let me be, please. I’ll call you later, I promise.”
Letting out a deep sigh with his eyes searching mine, he nodded. “Alright, I’ll leave. But please, take care of yourself. Call me when you’re ready to talk.”
I nodded curtly, watching as Gideon turned and walked away, leaving me alone with my turbulent thoughts.
***
I trudged into the dormitory, opening the door to find Nina meticulously cleaning her heels. She looked up, concern etched on her face. “Hey, is everything alright?” she asked, her voice laced with worry.
I sighed, feeling the weight of the day’s revelations bearing down on me. Then, sat on the bed, my eyes fixed on the floor as I struggled to hold back tears.
Before I knew it, I burst into sobs. Nina’s expression changed from concern to shock. “Oh my goodness, what happened?” she asked, rushing to sit beside me.
She wrapped a comforting arm around my shoulders. “Talk to me, what’s going on?” Nina’s voice was reassuring, calm.
I took a deep breath, steeling myself for the conversation ahead. “Nina, this might be a lot to take in, but… the truth is… Jayden… he’s the one I’ve been sleeping with.”
The room fell silent. Nina’s eyes darted back and forth, as if searching for words. Then, her voice barely above a whisper, she asked, “What the hell did you just say?”
I swallowed hard, my heart racing. “I said Jayden is my sex buddy,” I replied, my tone flat.
Nina’s mouth hung open, her eyes wide with shock. “Wait, what the fuck. The Jayden we both know?”
“Yes,” I nodded.
She inhaled deeply, then exhaled slowly. “Are you being serious? The one I’ve been so hyped about is Jayden?” she asked, her voice laced with confusion.
I remained silent, my eyes fixed on the floor.
“But it makes no sense. He’s your stepbrother!” she yelled abruptly, her eyes widened.
“Not anymore,” I replied.
“Pardon?”
I looked down, my voice barely above a whisper. “Our parents are divorced. They got a divorce over the holidays.”
Nina’s expression softened. “Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry.”
I shrugged. “It’s fine. I should be the one apologizing… to myself. I hate them so much. I was used by them.”
“What does that even mean?” she demanded, her eyes locked on mine.
I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. “We will talk about that later,” I replied finally. “But I’ve something to tell you.”
Nina leaned in, her voice encouraging. “Tell me about it.”
“I found out the reason why Jayden came to be in the first place. Why he wanted me to be his sex buddy.”
“And what could be the reason?”
I took a deep breath, the memories still stinging. “So, the thing is, he thought of me as his favorite OnlyFans Creator. I look like… this person, and he used me for his twisted game.”
Nina’s mouth dropped, her eyes wide with horror. There was a moment of silence as if she was finding the right words to say, and I could swear that minute of silence was really awkward.
“What the fuck!” she finally yelled, the cuss word slipping out from her hot breath. “I don’t know what to say right now, but I’m truly sorry you had to face all these, Allison.”
I forced a weak smile. “It’s fine, you don’t have to apologize.”
“So, what do you plan to do?”
I hesitated, my mind still reeling. “I have no idea. I just know I need to break up with him… in the most epic way possible.”
“Well, I have an idea.” Nina grinned mischievously. “How about we embarrass him tonight at the club?”
My curiosity piqued, I raised an eyebrow. “What do you mean? What’s your plan?”
Nina’s smile grew wider. “Trust me, friend. I’ve got a plan. And I never go wrong.”
I simply nodded, still feeling a bit dazed.
We had a few minutes to spare before getting ready, so I stood up to get ready, but then, a sharp pain shot through my head, making me whimper. Nina rushed to my side, concern etched on her face.
“Are you alright?” she asked, examining my face.
I forced another smile, trying to reassure her. “I’m fine.”
She looked uncertain, but I waved her off. “I’ll be okay. Just give me a minute.”
Then, I headed to the bathroom, the mirror reflecting a girl with a tangled mess of emotions.
“Fuck you, Sweetest Bunny,” I seethed, hot tears in my eyes.
