Book:My Possessive Alpha Twins For Mate Published:2025-4-9

Logan’s Pov
After my little guilt trip down memory lane, I couldn’t wait to get home and talk to Liam. If we were going to lead this pack effectively, we had to be on the same page. My recent avoidance of him had hurt him, and as twins, we’d always been inseparable. I couldn’t let that change now. I genuinely loved my baby brother. “Look at me getting all sentimental,” I muttered to myself.
As I pulled up to the pack house, relief washed over me when I spotted Liam’s truck parked out front. He’d spent the day at Crystal Moon finalizing the alliance between our packs, and I wasn’t sure he’d be back yet. Given I wasn’t expected until tomorrow night, he had no reason to rush home. But, being the homebody he was, I should’ve known he’d be here.
I figured I could convince him to grab a drink with me and talk things out. Skipping the club scene didn’t mean I couldn’t unwind with a glass of whiskey. I’d probably need it for this conversation. With that plan in mind, I hopped out, leaving my bags behind, and went in search of my brother.
I didn’t have to look far. Liam stood at the bottom of the stairs in the common area, deep in conversation with our Beta and best friend, Bastian. He didn’t notice me approaching. Time to get all big-brotherly, I thought as I rushed toward them and tackled them both in a bear hug.
“My two favorite bros!” I shouted, knocking them off balance. What happened next was a blur.
“Dude, get off me!” Bastian laughed, pushing me back. He couldn’t budge me, though, because I’d frozen in place. Liam had gone completely still.
What the hell was happening? Why did my brother’s scent suddenly make me want to devour and worship him at the same time?
“What the hell is that smell?” my wolf and I growled in unison.
“Bro, what are you talking about? Do I stink?” Bastian asked, sniffing his shirt. I couldn’t respond. My eyes locked on Liam, waiting for him to confirm what I already suspected.
“Bastian, can I talk to Logan alone for a minute?” Liam asked, pulling me away without waiting for an answer.
I took deep breaths, struggling not to cause a scene. Fang, my wolf, was practically howling in my head, urging me to find our mate.
“Tell me what’s going on, Liam!” I demanded as soon as he closed the door to an empty office. “Why do you smell like honey and wildflowers, making me want to drool all over you?”
“Logan, please calm down! I’ll explain everything, but you need to sit down and listen,” he insisted.
“I don’t want to sit! I want answers! Say it, Liam! I need to hear you say it!”
We both knew the truth, but I couldn’t believe it until I heard him admit it.
“I met our mate,” he whispered, just loud enough for my wolf ears. “And judging by your reaction, I assume she’s ‘ours.'”
“Where is she? Take me to her now!” I insisted, panic bubbling inside me. Could wolves have panic attacks? Because I was pretty sure I was on the verge of one. The thought of meeting her terrified me, but knowing she existed and not being with her was unbearable.
“Logan, I-”
“Never mind! Fang can track her scent,” I said, yanking the door open.
“LOGAN, STOP!” Liam roared in his alpha voice.
We never used that tone with each other. As equals, it held no power, but it was enough to make me pause. I turned back, breathing heavily as I wrestled control over my furious wolf. Liam waited patiently until my eyes faded from silver to hazel, signaling I was in control again.
“I’m sorry, but I had to get your attention,” he said. “Unless you want her to reject us, there are things you need to know first.”
“Why would she reject us? We’re her mates! The bond-”
“First off, she doesn’t know there’s an ‘us,'” Liam said, avoiding my gaze.
I was stunned. Had my twin kept my very existence from our mate? I collapsed into a chair, rubbing my hands over my face.
“Explain,” I said, barely containing my rage. “Because it sounds like you spent the day with her, and she has no clue you have a twin. That couldn’t possibly be what you meant, right?”
“Of course not! For Goddess’ sake, Logan, I brought her here, didn’t I? Do you think I’d hide her from you in your own home? I didn’t lock her in the dungeon!” he snapped. He had a point. Maybe I was overreacting.
“You don’t want to share her, do you? You want her for yourself!” I accused.
“I accepted that we’d share a mate long ago. Will you just listen?” he groaned, exasperated.
“Fine. When and where did you meet her?”
“At Crystal Moon this morning. Her name is Dahlia Sterling. She’s Oberon Sterling’s daughter.”
Fang purred her name in my head. Dahlia. His new favorite word.
“Wait! Your meeting was early this morning. It’s seven p. m. That’s plenty of time to tell her about me!” I growled, anger rising again.
“Logan, please calm down! That’s just the first problem. Let me explain everything, and it will make sense.”
“Fine! But talk fast!” I snarled.
