“G-good morning, Kieran,” I stammered, my back arching as Ethan latched onto my clit with his frantic tongue.
Where Kieran wielded cold, refined skill, Ethan possessed unbridled enthusiasm.
“Look at me,” Kieran snarled when I turned my gaze to Ethan, gripping his dark hair tightly.
Just in time, I glanced at Kieran and saw stars as my orgasm overwhelmed me. Ethan wrapped his arms around my legs, his mouth latching onto my clit with determined strokes.
“Oh, Ethan,” I gasped, my body tensing as pleasure washed over me.
The heated, pleasure-filled look on Kieran’s face as he climaxed extended my own orgasm. I felt Ethan’s release splash against my thighs. In an instant, my body went limp, collapsing back onto the bed.
“I think I’ve discovered a new favorite way to wake our mate up, brother,” Ethan grinned, his chest rising and falling rapidly.
“She looks stunning post-orgasm,” Kieran replied sincerely, a playful light still dancing in his eyes.
“As much as we’d love to stay in bed all day-believe me, we would-Kat is downstairs demanding breakfast,” Ethan chuckled, leaning in to kiss me, leaving me yearning for more.
“She’s quite demanding for a regular pack member,” Kieran muttered to himself, making me snicker and playfully swat at his arm.
Anticipating a leisurely day with my twins, I changed clothes and made my way downstairs. Kieran had helped me untangle my hair, surprisingly gentle as he wielded the small brush with his large hands, even giving me a playful smack on the butt.
“You seem to have had a good morning,” Kat remarked as we descended the stairs, a mischievous grin on her face. “I’ve always said, an orgasm a day keeps the rage away.”
“When have you ever said that?” I shot back, sticking my tongue out at her.
“Considering your previous lack of experience, I never said it to you,” Kat retorted, steering the conversation into a momentary silence.
Soon, Ethan and Kieran busied themselves at the stove, preparing eggs, sizzling bacon, and fluffy pancakes. I never bought into the stereotypical idea of what a man should be-strong, brooding, and silent-certainly not someone who could cook exceptionally well, be kind, and incredibly considerate. The twins embodied the perfect blend of everything I needed to thrive and flourish.
“These are amazing,” I moaned appreciatively, drowning the stack of pancakes in a generous dollop of thick fudge. “When I open a bakery someday, you two will be my first employees.”
“That actually sounds like a lot of fun,” Ethan mused, sharing a cheeky grin with Kieran.
Kat sat quietly, her emerald eyes darting between the three of us. Sensing her mixed emotions, I detected no anger or jealousy, just a hint of embarrassment, interest, and a subtle tug-of-war between arousal and mild discomfort.
“Are-are you okay?” I asked, feeling a bit awkward.
“Would you like to tell her, or shall I?” Kieran drawled slowly, nibbling on a piece of bacon with amusement.
Suddenly attuned to their emotions, I tried to decipher what was happening. Kieran appeared relaxed and entertained as he stared Kat down, while Kat seemed unfazed by the humor in Kieran’s eyes, meeting his gaze with a pointed look of her own.
“Fine, but it’s really not a big deal,” Kat scoffed, one of the few people brave enough to roll their eyes at Kieran. She turned towards me, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.
“Last night, I heard some noise that woke me up-sounded like an animal growling or something. Anyway, I peeked out the window and, well, I saw you guys.”
“Oh,” was all I managed to say, fighting to keep my jaw from dropping.
My face flushed with embarrassment, but I quickly reminded myself that what we did was perfectly natural. Still, the last thing I wanted was for my friend to catch a glimpse of our nighttime activities.
“It’s really not a big deal,” Kat repeated, shaking her head at me. “I only looked for like three seconds.”
“Fifteen,” Kieran countered, making Kat snarl in his direction.
“Whatever,” she shrugged, shoving a forkful of pancakes into her mouth. “My bedroom window literally faced the pool. If you hadn’t been out there snarling and growling for hours, I wouldn’t have woken up. Still, I gotta say, I’m kind of impressed.”
“Thank you,” Ethan chimed in with a warm grin.
“I don’t want to know how much you saw,” I muttered, forcing myself to make eye contact with my closest friend. “We should’ve taken better care not to wake you, so I apologize for that.”
“She’s so precious when she’s frazzled,” Kieran smirked, taking a long drink of steaming coffee.
“Don’t be embarrassed, Sophia,” Kat snorted. “You’re not the first person I’ve seen going at it, but you were definitely the most interesting.”
“Alright, enough,” I hissed, placing a hand on my heated forehead. “It’s bad enough you saw us; I don’t need a running commentary on what went down.”
“Fine, fine,” she sighed, waving her hand dismissively. “But when we’re alone, I want details. Details.”
“Yes, ma’am,” I huffed, side-eyeing her. “Sometimes I think you’d make a better Luna.”
“Maybe I was a Luna in a past life,” she replied, waving her fork. “But a better Luna than you? Nah, you’re already great, even if you’re still in training.”
“Much appreciated,” I smiled, grateful for the change of subject.
Kat left shortly after breakfast to finish packing her belongings. We were all heading to the city, staying at a specific hotel owned by the High Table, which made Ethan and Kieran more determined to keep me protected.
Once Kat was gone, we picked up where we left off this morning. After I was thoroughly sweaty and sated, I asked the twins about when they would mark me.
Their own marks were healing rapidly, and I was eager to see the final result of my own mark. It seemed that each twin’s mark would be unique.
“We will mark you tonight, doll,” Ethan said softly, leading me to the steaming shower that awaited. “It’s often harder for Lunas when getting marked. Taking in a part of an Alpha can be disorienting.”
“Plus, I’ll be getting two marks,” I nodded, stepping under the hot stream and letting out a groan. “Do you think I’ll pass out?”
“There’s a chance you might,” Kieran shrugged, stepping into the shower with Ethan and me. “If you do, we’ll take good care of you until you wake.”
“With how I woke up this morning, I’m sure you’ll both take great care of me,” I smirked, feeling the comforting soreness between my legs.
As we were about to get out of the shower, a heavy knocking sound filled the house. With my werewolf hearing, I pinpointed the hard knock against the thick wood, cutting through the sound of running water.
“Were you expecting someone?” I asked curiously.
“Not at all,” Ethan frowned, glancing at Kieran. “No one lives around us for at least ten miles.”
We hurried out of the shower and into the bedroom. I slipped on a comfortable t-shirt and leggings, finishing with fuzzy socks. I padded downstairs behind the twins, trying to peer over their shoulders as they opened the front door.
I managed to squeeze in between them at the last moment and met a pair of startlingly blue eyes.
“Miss Sophia, just the she-wolf I’ve been looking for,” the man nodded.
His eyes were a bright shade of blue, much lighter than mine, and they were narrow and hard like shards of glass. His hair was a light wheat-colored gold, and his build was muscular without being overly large or lanky.
He was impeccably dressed, unlike what you would expect at a cabin in the forest. His suit jacket was a deep shade of blue, nearly black under the sun. He wore a buttoned-up shirt beneath and dark slacks. His hair was slicked to the side, and his face was clean-shaven. Until he spoke, I had thought he was some kind of businessman.
“Future Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack, son of Alpha Maverick Billford. Heir to the first seat on the High Table,” he spoke in smooth English, each syllable pronounced with sharp accuracy.
This man wielded his words like weapons, sharpened and dripping with blood. My jaw went slack as Kieran interrupted him, stepping forward with his towering form. The twins, built like absolute beasts, towered over the man. Though he looked capable of handling himself in a fight, my bias leaned toward the twins.
“Zack Billford,” Kieran interrupted with his gravelly, booming voice.
Zack’s eyes narrowed, and I felt my own protectiveness bubble in my gut like acid. He was clearly annoyed, both from the twitching of his lips and the battery-acid emotions radiating from his body.
“Might I step inside?” he asked, though it was more of a statement. He was coming in whether we liked it or not. Both twins stiffened at the obvious challenge in his tone. “I have traveled a very long way to speak with Miss Sophia, and I would hate to leave without what I came for.”
