I sense Adrianna isn’t used to relying on anyone for anything.
“Seriously, Adrianna. Let me help.” I need to help her as I need to know her plan. She’s so pigheaded. It wouldn’t surprise me if she disappeared forever and I couldn’t find her. It’s the only way to ensure I keep tabs on her.
“Fine, you can help.”
I smile, relief coursing through my veins. “Good, as I have quite a few ideas.”
“Such as?”
I pat my lap for her to come and sit on it.
Her eyes narrow, but she sits anyway.
“Your father is coming to graduation, and that’s a complication, but not the be all and end all. I mean, you dictated to your father before, so do it again.”
“What do you mean?”
“Tell him that you are going to celebrate with your friends. They’re all going to be celebrating, right?”
She nods. “Yeah.”
“Then tell him to book a motel and you’ll leave with him the next morning.”
A crease forms in between her brows. “I’m uncertain it will work, but I can ring him beforehand. It’s an option, I guess.”
“Well, tell me your ideas.”
“Honestly?” Her throat bobs as she swallows. “I don’t have any. It’s as if I’ve spent so long trying to plan this escape that anytime I try to think of how to execute it, especially with my father at my graduation, I come up blank.”
I shake my head at her sheer stupidity for trying to shun my help. “And you didn’t want my help out of sheer stubbornness?”
She nods, looking a little ashamed.
I laugh. “You never cease to amaze me.”
“Good,” she says, smiling.
“Ring your father in the morning and request that he book into a hotel for the night of your graduation so you can celebrate with friends. And that you will leave with him the following morning.” My eyes narrow, as I assume her father isn’t someone who takes direction well. “If that fails, we’ll think of something else.”
Adrianna draws in a deep breath. “Where will I go after the celebration?”
“Leave that aspect to me. I will plan the entire thing for you.”
Her lips purse. “No one should know where I’m going, as it will lead you to be vulnerable to interrogation from my family.”
I have every intention of going with her, but I don’t push that. Until we’re free and to a safe place, I won’t broach the subject. “Why would your family think about interrogating their daughter’s gym coach?”
“You’re right. I’m being paranoid.” She rolls her eyes. “God, this is stressful.”
I chuckle. “Maybe what I found out tonight will keep your mind off of it.” I realize the moment I say it, I assume Bly and Azira’s relationship is a secret. “I don’t think I’m supposed to tell you, though.”
She shifts in my lap so that she’s straddling me, her arms around the back of my neck. My cock gets impossibly hard beneath her. “You can’t say that and not tell me.”
I kiss her lips gently.. “No, I guess I can’t.” I tilt my head, wondering if she knows anyway. “Maybe you already know.”
“Know what?”
“Who Azira is in a relationship with?”
Her brow furrows, which is answer enough. “Azira isn’t in a relationship with anyone.”
“That’s not true.”
“Who is it?” She asks.
“Bly.”
Her eyes widen and she looks in utter shock. “No way, she’s too sweet for him.”
I would have thought the exact same thing. Azira Sidorov comes off as innocent to a certain extent, certainly not the kind of woman I pictured Bly with. To be honest, I don’t know who I can picture Bly with. “I went down to Bly’s place tonight and kind of crashed their romantic dinner. They seemed pretty annoyed, actually. I was very drunk when I arrived, much drunker than now.”
“Why would they be annoyed?”
“Because I crashed his dinner and insisted I stay.”
She rolls her eyes. “You idiot. Of course they would be annoyed. If someone did that to us at dinner, how would you like it?”
I would be pissed as hell, because I’d be wanting to fuck Adrianna mid-dinner, most likely. Bly is probably the same. “It wasn’t my best hour, but alcohol can make a man do stupid things. But back to the point. Azira Sidorov and Blaine fucking Luigi!” It’s crazy because he’s a sadist, which means Azira isn’t so innocent. She’s got to be a masochist.
“Yeah, that’s crazy. I mean, she said something about trying to bag him after Eva got with Oak.” Adrianna shakes her head. “Even though she is getting into a lot of trouble, I thought it was a joke. Explains it, really.”
I grab her chin and kiss her, thrusting my tongue through her lips as an overwhelming desire sweeps over me. When we break apart, we can hardly breathe from the intensity of it.
“What was that for?”
“I just wanted to kiss you. Is that a crime?” I ask.
“No.” Her arms tighten around my neck and this time she kisses me. My cock is straining to break free. I need to be inside of her already. It’s been too long since our makeup sex in the gym almost two weeks ago.
I stand and lower her to the bed, kissing a path down her neck and lower again to between my breasts. All she’s wearing is a sexy nightgown that’s rather skimpy. “I’ve missed this,” I murmur, slipping the straps off of her shoulders and exposing her beautiful breasts. “I’ve missed these.” I run the tip of my finger gently around my breasts, making her nipples harden. “I’ve missed everything fucking part of you.” I look her dead in the eye. “Did you miss me?”
The surprise in her eyes is clear, and she’s not quick to react.
I can’t help the smile that curves onto my lips. “I knew it.”
“Knew what?” She asks.
“You missed me.” I kiss her before she can contest the fact. And she doesn’t fight me, because she knows It’s true. She missed me and whatever this is between us. However, Adrianna being Adrianna, when we break apart, she shakes her head.
“You don’t know what you are talking about.”
I kiss her again quickly. “Your lips say one thing, but your eyes give you away.”
“Fine, I missed you,” she admits.
At long last I get some kind of emotion from her. “Good, because I’m not going to stop fucking you from now until graduation.” And hopefully after, but I know not to push my luck right now. The last thing I want is to get into another argument with her.
“Shut up and kiss me,” she says, grabbing my collar and yanking my lips to hers.
And for once I do as she says, as there’s no way I’m passing up that opportunity. I need to be inside of her right now, and preferably never leave. This is where I belong.
