Aria
My whole body is on fire. My bones? Fucking stiff. But at least I’m satisfied. Finally, I’m not gonna be a horny mess anymore.
Lucas and I just finished destroying the private locker room’s shower. And yeah, we actually showered after. He got dressed first, then went out to grab my clothes from my friends, because apparently, he refuses to let me leave in just a sports bra and shorts.
The door swings open, and Lucas steps in, holding my bag. “Here.”
I don’t waste a damn second. I snatch the bag, dig through it, and get dressed as fast as my shaky ass can manage. My legs are still weak, but I pull it off.
“All set to go,” I say, flashing Lucas a smile.
But he doesn’t smile back. He just stands there, watching me with those dark, intense eyes. “You sure you’re alright? If I went too hard, you can tell me, Aria.”
I sigh, rolling my eyes. “Lucas, I’ve told you already, I’m fine. How many times do I have to say I love it when you fuck me hard and fast?”
This time, he grins. A slow, cocky-ass grin. “You’re such a naughty girl.”
I smirk. “Well, I learned from the best.”
He chuckles, then lifts a finger, crooking it. “Come here.”
And like the fucking obedient soldier I am, my legs move before my brain does. He wraps those big, strong arms around my waist, pulling me flush against him, his warmth seeping into my still-sensitive skin.
“Alright, baby. Now that we finally did it, let me hear it. What do you want me to do for you? You won, right?”
My mouth opens. Then closes. Then opens again. “Oh… I…uh…I didn’t win anything.”
His brows lift. “What?”
I swallow. “I…I’m sorry, Lucas. I shouldn’t have started that silly-ass game…”
“What do you mean? We made a deal,” he says, frowning.
I groan, shaking my head. “A stupid deal. One I shouldn’t have made. I mean…arguing about who’s more obsessed? That’s ridiculous. I know I’m just as obsessed with you as you are with me. I shouldn’t have even tried to argue it.”
Lucas tilts his head, eyes locked on mine. “It’s okay, baby. And, let’s be real…there was some truth to it. I am crazy for you. Fucking obsessed. And I’m proud of that.”
His words hit me straight in the chest. My heart melts.
I tiptoe and press a soft kiss to his lips. “And I love you too.”
Lucas growls. “Fuck. Don’t make me hard again, baby.”
I smirk, arms looping around his neck. “And what if I do?”
He lifts a brow. “You need another lesson?”
My body shivers at his tone…at the promise in his eyes. But my legs? Absolutely not. They’re on fucking strike.
I huff. “I would love to, but at this point? I’d probably pass out.”
Lucas laughs, low and deep. “Fair enough.” He tucks a strand of hair behind my ear, then kisses my forehead. “So tell me baby, what do you want me to do? A promise is a promise.”
I bite my lip, hesitating. “Well… if you insist… I want a date with you. A romantic date.”
His expression softens. I can see the realization hitting him. “Shit, Aria. I can be such a loser sometimes. I should’ve caught on when you said you wanted something romantic instead of letting you come up with that silly game. I’m too caught up with fucking you instead of… y’know… being a proper boyfriend.”
I snort. “First of all, don’t be like that. I love fucking you. I just… also want dates. I want you to buy me flowers. I wanna do all the fun, normal-couple shit we used to do.”
Lucas nods, determination flashing in his eyes. “You got it, baby. I’ll take you out on a date.” He leans in, kissing me slowly.
I melt against him. “Thank you, baby.”
But then he pulls back slightly, tilting his head. “Although… I thought you’d ask for something else.”
I blink. “Something else like…?”
“Y’know… telling me to go see my father.”
My stomach tightens, but I shake my head. “Lucas, I already told you, I’m not gonna force you. I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable or miserable.”
His arms tighten around me, his voice low and raw. “You’re such a darling, baby. I really love and appreciate you so much, Aria.”
I smirk. “Really?”
His lips twitch. “Yes, baby.” Then his face turns serious. “I’ve decided to go see him, though. This weekend.”
I blink. Then stare. Then blink again. “Wait, for real?”
“For real.”
My heart swells. “Really?”
Lucas nods, his thumb brushing against my wrist. “Yeah.”
“That’s great. If you want, I can come with you.”
“I want you to come. It’ll make me feel comfortable if you do.”
I nod immediately. “Then I’ll come.”
His lips brush against mine in a soft peck before he pulls back. “Thank you, baby. Now, let’s get back to class.”
He laces his fingers with mine and leads me toward the door. Thankfully, the hallway is mostly empty, and the few people lingering around actually mind their fucking business for once.
As we walk, Lucas glances at me, eyes sharp. “You sure you can walk alright?”
I snort, playfully bumping his shoulder. “Yes. I was just being a little dramatic. My legs are stiff, yeah, but I’ll survive.”
He hums, unconvinced, but we keep moving.
Once we step outside, heading toward my class, Lucas suddenly stiffens. “So… who’s that guy?”
“Who?” I arch a brow, playing dumb.
Lucas isn’t buying it. His eyes narrow.
I sigh. “Lucas, he’s nobody. I accidentally bumped into him, and that was it.”
He hums again, but this time, there’s an edge to it. “I don’t like him.”
“Are you jealous right now?” I nudge him teasingly. “Come on, baby. He’s nobody, and it was just a fucking accident. I seriously doubt he bumped into me on purpose.”
Lucas exhales.”You’re probably right.”
When we reach my class, he turns to me, his hands gripping my waist. “You have class now, so go on. I’ll see you later.”
I nod, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. “Okay, baby. See you later.”
I step into the classroom, relieved to see the professor hasn’t arrived yet. I find a good spot, sit down, and drop my bag on the desk, ready to finally relax.
But just as I’m about to sink into my seat, someone slides into the chair beside me.
I know that scent. It’s familiar.
“Hello.”
I turn my head and…yep. It’s him.
That guy from earlier is sitting next to me, smiling like he knows me personally.
I scowl. “You… what are you doing here?”
His smirk is all kinds of cocky. “Attending class, obviously. Just transferred departments. Name’s Mark.”
He extends a hand, but I don’t budge. Just stare at it like it personally offended me.
He chuckles. “Not gonna shake my hand? That’s fine. I already know your name… Aria. You’re pretty popular.”
I scoff. “Who the fuck told you my name?”
Before he can answer, the professor finally walks in.
I should be paying attention. But the whole damn lecture, I can feel his eyes on me. Watching. Studying. Like I’m his own personal fucking lesson.
After what feels like forever, class finally ends. I don’t waste a second, shoving my books into my bag, ready to bolt.
But of course…Mark or whatever just has to open his mouth.
“Going somewhere already?”
I pretend I don’t hear him.
“Don’t be like that. I just wanna be your friend.”
I whip around, fully prepared to tell him to fuck off…but suddenly, a group of guys start walking in.
With flowers.
My brows furrow. “What the actual fuck…?”
They start heading straight for me, handing me bouquets one by one. At least ten of them.
My brain short-circuits.
Is this Lucas? Did he do this for me? Holy shit, this is so fucking sweet.
But then Mark smirks beside me.
“And now, for the main event,” he announces, reaching into his pocket.
I freeze.
What the fuck is he doing?
He pulls out a single red rose and holds it out. “Will you accept this flower from me, Aria?”
The classroom erupts into whispers. More people start pouring in, eager to see whatever the fuck is going on.
And then I see my friends.
And then I see him. Lucas walks in, and the second he does, the entire room falls silent.
His eyes lock onto me. Then onto Mark.
And holy fucking shit.
His eyes…they’re burning.
His entire body is coiled…muscles tight with barely restrained rage.
