He handed Kasey the card.
“What is this?” she asked.
“As you are quite aware, your father loved you – and your mother – more than life itself. He and I had a bargain. He kowtowed to his mother’s demands – and – in exchange for his reluctant obedience – I agreed to secure a life insurance policy that would take care of you if anything ever happened to him.
“Why wait until now?” Kasey asked – her tone at the edge of a snarl.
“My one stipulation – when assenting to this bargain – was that you needed to be on your own two feet before I delivered this – either graduated from college or married.”
Kasey turned the card over in her hand. It was from a lawyer’s office.
Her grandfather turned his attention from Kasey – to her mother.
As he opened his mouth – to speak to my mother-in-law – his eyes briefly flicked to mine as he noticed me edging forward – where I could intervene, if required.
“I hope you can believe me when I say that I never wanted things to end up like this. I wish he were still here – but I’m glad he was wise enough to plan ahead. You have endured much because of your love for my son. Unfortunately, there is no way for me to repay you for your tenacity & dedication to his memory. It is a testament to your character and – no doubt – a big part of what my boy saw in you.”
He turned, saw that his wife hadn’t departed, and strode past her – heading towards the exit. She hurried after him. When she turned, she nearly bumped into Grandma Mitchell – and their eyes met briefly. The bitter hag took a half-step to the right and scuttled away.
As soon as the two of them were gone, I felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I hugged Kasey – and then her mom.
Grandma Mitchell stepped up, tugged at my elbow, and announced, “Ding dong! The witch is dead. Let’s get this party started!”
Kasey wrapped her in a hug and laugh-cried. The two of us danced with her for a bit – before peeling off to dance with Pop & Mimi.
Kasey danced with Pop while I danced with Grandma Mimi – and then we switched.
I chatted with them a little longer as my bride headed off to visit and dance.
Several minutes later, she returned to me to report, “Your dad’s a good dancer!”
I laughed and said, “Mom made him pay for lessons for Valentine’s Day one year. He grumbled the whole time.”
We had told everyone not to bring gifts – but there were still a few – and we sat down to go through them.
Nick brought a chair over for Natalie – who had a pen & notepad. She shoved him onto the seat and sat on his lap, wriggling her ass a little, grinning mischievously at him – and then giving him a little peck on the lips. He wrapped his arms around his favorite person and then loosely hugged her waist as she got to work.
Pop & Mimi gave us a big glass jar filled with a little sand – and lots of beach treasures – including the biggest shark’s tooth I had ever seen. Also inside were two plane tickets (for us to come visit them over Christmas break).
Kasey cried as she got up and went to hug them – telling my grandparents that she’d never been out of the state before – or flown on a plane.
Grandma Mitchell gave us a deck of Uno cards. Kasey went to hug her as well – and thank her for being on guard-duty the whole day.
~~~ Saturday Night ~~~
It was almost dark by the time Kasey & I pulled into the driveway. Her mom had already closed down the garage and was waiting for us inside.
As soon as we stepped in, we heard her mother weeping. I closed the door, checked the deadbolt, and carried our bags into the front room – where my two lovers were hugging on the couch.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“Please don’t make me leave!” Mrs. Williams sobbed.
“Mom! Stop it!” Kasey ordered.
Her mom grabbed her daughter’s hands, held them I her own, and looked at her.
“You heard him. You’re free of her. You don’t need me anymore. I’m excess baggage.”
“Mom!” Kasey called – trying to get through to her.
Her mother let go of her daughter’s hands – and pulled her own up to cover her face.
“Mother!”
Mrs. Williams looked up at her daughter through tear-stained eyes.
“First of all, I don’t trust a word he says …”
Her mother sniffled; sound logic starting to override her chaotic emotions.
“Second, I agreed to this devil’s contract of ours for two reasons: (1) you deserved guiltless sex, and (2) I was determined to test your hair-brained theory about sharing a man.”
Kasey’s mom sniffled again, dried her face a little – and hiccupped, “Okay …”
“Are you having guiltless sex?”
“Yes,” she admitted quietly, staring at her hands, giving her daughter’s arguments time to sink in.
“How’s the share-test going?”
She looked at me, as if evaluating a petri-dish, “Pretty well so far …”
“Do I need to remind you that Mr. Sanderson is very interested in your … ahem … availability for the coming semester?”
“No!”
“Do you have someplace else to live?”
“No…”
“Then knock that shit off!”
My freshly-minted mom-in-law dried her face a little more and said, “Okay …”
“Even if … IF … what he said is true, that only takes care of the house and college. There’s still plenty of shit to be done around here and I expect you to find a naughty little maid’s outfit and make sure my husband’s cock is clean whenever he’s finished fucking my pussy or ass.”
I leaned forward.
“This is the second time you’ve mentioned your ass and my dick in the same sentence. Are you …?” I started to ask.
“Not helping,” she spat.
My mother-in-law – my wife’s mother – my MILILF? Got up from the couch and headed to the kitchen – removing a small, plastic container from her pocket as she went.
“What happened to my semen?” I called to her.
“What semen?” Kasey inquired.
“I fucked your husband this morning,” her mother reported, “then I sucked him until he nutted. I filled this – and then swallowed the rest.”
She held up the container – which was now empty – grinning wickedly.
“Your grandmother can be very demanding,” she said, smiling.
“No shit!” Kasey agreed.
“There has never been a reception that I have attended with her, where she did not require that I get her a cup of coffee – fixed exactly the way she likes it.”
“Which is …?” Kasey asked.
“Milk and sugar.”
“You didn’t!” I gasped.
“I gave her Reggie’s milk,” she admitted to her daughter, grinning madly.
Kasey’s mind started calculating.
“What did she say?” Kasey asked.
“Where’s my coffee?!” her mother said, grinning at answering the wrong question.
“No – after …”
“She accused me of getting decaf – then she asked me if the milk was fresh …” she said, crooking an eyebrow at us.
I belly-laughed at that point. My mother-in-law joined me – until my bride – my wife – scowled at her to continue.
“Her cup was half-empty when I asked her if she wanted me to dump it out and start again.”
“… and?”
“She refused – but told me not to fuck it up the next time.”
“She drank it all?” I asked, incredulously.
