Mary Davies
Today came earlier than I expected, Friday morning used to be the best for me because I love weekends. I see weekends as a day to break of all compulsory activities. But today felt weird and I am tensed. This was because I was still worried and concerned about my pregnancy.
Mum already informed my dad about the pregnancy last night and he was livid. And most of all he blamed mum for ruining my life and not being able to carry on with my baggage. My stomach isn’t feeling weird or strange. It doesn’t look like something was growing in my tummy. I felt normal. My mum was still working as if nothing happened. I haven’t heard from Hawk Andrews, but I feel he should have heard about the pregnancy and of course he should know he was responsible for it. After all he gave the Principal the sex video.
The door to the room opened and my mum stepped in.
“Come on let’s go, or do you think you can make it to the airport alone. I still have a lot of work to do here.”
I nodded my head, forcing a smile. She is literally telling me she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me again. And I am honestly fine with it. I grabbed my suitcase without saying a word and went outside the room, without sparing her a final glance. This is obviously the last time she will be hearing from me.
I didn’t even bother to say good morning to the Andrews as I passed the dinning area, I could feel their eyes on me as I dragged my box, I looked up to stare at each one of them before I leave. Mrs Andrews, I scrutinized her with my eyes so she could see the hatred in my eyes, she gasped loudly, looking away instantly because she couldn’t keep up with the glare I was giving her, she is so full of pretence and deceit. I hope she drops dead or die of an ailment one day. I hiss loudly as I stared at Mr Andrews, he was unbothered about me, he didn’t even look up from his plate of food. Jessica didn’t fail in her usual terror, I smiled at her and she frowned her face, sticking out her tongue.
“I hope you drop dead,” I whispered to her, and she literally rolled her eyes at me.
Little Olivia smiled brightly at me and I didn’t fail in returning the gesture back.
Of course, Hawk Andrews wasn’t in here. It was like they were hiding their son away from me, but a little part of me wants to believe he is aware of my pregnancy and he is just trying to avoid me.
I walked out of the Andrews mansion with my head raised high, I was never going to come back here.
“Ciao.” I muttered under my breath as I confirmed if my plane ticket was still intact. I let out a breath, this was it.

Minazuela is a huge city, a place known to be for the wealthy ones, extremely different from Beverly Dale. Everything here screams rich. I already got in touch with my dad and he told me my half-brother will be here to pick me at the airport. I only have to look for someone with a cardboard that has Mary Davies written on it. And that was not difficult to find, but I found it hard to walk over to the dude holding the cardboard. He looked tired already. I was staring at another version of my dad standing close to the exit of the airport. People were looking at him weirdly, I will be embarrassed to hold a cardboard too, we are already in a more civilized world. Merely looking at the frown on his face, it shows that he was forced to do this, I bet this is one of my dad’s punishment. I cringed as I walked towards him.
From a distance I could see his eyes were as blue as the sea. He was tall and had a powerful built. I didn’t like the look of him, he seems a little too much of everything. His hair was brown and he had a sharp face, there was a cleft in his chin. He had a bored look on his face, this was literally the last place he wants to be and he didn’t fail to hide that fact.
“Hey,” I called out, standing right in front of him.
“Mary Davies?” He asked, as his eyes raked over me. I noticed the stare on my belly, but I ignored it. Trust dad to have told them about my mistakes. I have two step siblings. A proof that my dad was cheating when he was with my mum. I can’t blame him though, I found out my stepmother is a very important wealthy woman last night, no wonder my dad was able to get me a plane ticket to Minazuela between an hour.
“Yes,” I replied. He didn’t even say much. He just led me straight to a white expensive Benz. He didn’t even tell me his name, well this just means my stay here isn’t welcomed. I kept mute throughout the drive. I have heard rumors that a few celebrities live here in Minazuela. I kept my eyes outside the window, I might be so lucky to even catch a glimpse of a celebrity.
I picked up my phone from my backpack and did the unimaginable. I blocked Hawk Andrews and my mum and cleared everything on my phone off. I was starting my life all over again.
“You didn’t tell me your name.” I said out loud.
He threw a glance at me, before focusing on the road back.
“I never knew she could talk.” He replied chuckling.
“My name is Justin, we share a last name. Don’t bother asking me that.” He added.
“Too bad I judged you by what I heard about you. You seem pretty interesting, not a bad girl bitch, more like a good girl who was corrupted.”
