Principal’s Office

Book:Pregnant For The Bully Published:2025-4-7

Mary Davies
I ducked my head low as I walked through the hallways, I could feel eyes on me, but I dared not look up. I was an outcast.
Being a nerd in school really sucks, nobody wants to talk to me. I was just a nobody, I realized being a pauper is like having an incurable disease.
Everyone here dresses expensively. But all I wear are clothes my mum got from a thrift store. I’m not complaining, but a tiny part of me still wish I was popular. I wish my mum was rich. Money means having power and I crave power.
I dare not go to the locker room, I dreaded getting bullied and being called a dirty maid. My mum doesn’t know I get bullied, she doesn’t even know I get molested by her bosses son.
My self-esteem has gotten worst. I feel like a loser every time. I have come to believe I am loser. I have been ridiculed to a crap, belittled and demeaned with very offensive words.
Now, Queen knows there is something going on between Hawk and I. I could tell she was jealous. Only if I could explain to her, but I just can’t. Hawk was making my life tiresome and I hated him for this.
I let out a sigh of relief as I stepped into the class, there was no name-calling. Only few people were in the class.
The door to the classroom opened and Mrs Anna, the history teacher stepped in. Swarm of students began filling up the classroom, most especially the back seats. Just then Hawk my bully stepped in with the football team.
He walked in confidently, memories of what happened in class this morning flashed through my mind. I pulled my skirt down and sat up. The girls in class began to murmur. They were obviously drooling over the boys. He licked his plump lips as he walked towards his seat, the other boy went to their seats. Our eyes met before he sat down. I immediately looked away, and faced Mrs Anna who already started scribbling some words on the board.
“Details on the excursion trip that would be coming up during the weekend.” She drawled out, snapping the lid of the black marker shut.
“You will all be grouped.” Mrs Anna said, squinting her eyes as she looked around the class, as if she was looking for a prey. She removed her round eyeglasses and fixed it back before pointing at Donald.
“You, stand up.” She said softly, kissing her teeth.
“And you,” she added, pointing to me.
“Both of you are the group leaders for both the boys team and the girls team.”
“What!” Both Donald and I said at the same time.
“No way.” I heard someone shout.
“A maid as the group leader. That is not possible.” Another voice said.
“Detention!” Mrs Anna yelled, packing her stuffs hurriedly, she raised her head up slightly, removed her glasses and gave a stern look, which she might think was coming of has something scary. But her eyes were too tiny for such glares, I wish I could tell her that though.
“Detention, both of you.” The two girls growled. Mrs Anna left the class angrily.
“See you during the weekend.” Hawk drawled out again.
“Mary Davies, report to the Principal’s office right now.” The school’s PA system boomed around the school building.
“Hawk Andrews report to the Principal’s office right now.” The voice added.
My heart began to race as I began to pack my books back into my backpack. We were both wanted in the Principal’s office. I tried to think of the reason why we were both called at the same time. Maybe the principal knows what is going on between us already. Or did Donald report us to the principal. The whole class were staring at us. I knew they were all curious to know why we were both called.
My lips were trembling and my fingers were shaking. I hurriedly left the class.
I walked towards the Principal’s office, his secretary was waiting at the door for us. I tried calming my racing heart but it was not working.
“Mary, you have been expelled from school for having sex with Hawk Andrews.” I shook my head, the secretary mouth was moving, but that is the only thing I was hearing, that was what I was expecting.
“Are you okay Mary Davies? Do you want me to repeat what I just said?”
“Yes,” I squeaked out.
“You can drop your backpack on the rack over there, you can go into the office after.”
I stepped into the Principal’s office and the cool air from the air conditioner welcomed me. The smell of lavender was evident in the room. The Principal was sitting behind his table without his glasses, he has tiny eyes just like Mrs Anna. He was tall man that values education. It was said that he doesn’t condone any form of shenanigans and immoralities in the school.
“Mary Davies.” He called out, putting on his glasses as he drummed his fingers on the table. My heart began to beat against my chest.
