.”Come off it Lori”, Nicole said to me pacing all over my house, she’s bent on forcing me to Mr. Knight, she was now sleeping in my house because of her house issues and she didn’t for once stop talking about Mr. knight
“You are my friend girl”, she continued as she came to stand on my face,
“This is every girl’s dream”, she added as she held my shoulder to look at her,
“Nicole, what are you telling me to do? To force myself on Mr Knight”?, I replied back to Nicole who exhaled deeply,
“I’m not cheap Nicole”, I added to her while slowly moving away from her as her hands fell from my shoulder,
“Lori I’m not asking you to force yourself on him”, Nicole said to me as she rolled her eyes all over me,
“Girlfriend I’m trying to tell you to free yourself”, Nicole answered me, “besides that, I haven’t seen Mr Knight recently”, she continued, “I think he travelled”, Nicole added moving closer to me, I assistant manager of the biggest mall but most times Nicole gets information about Mr. knight more than me which made me to chuckle, making me to wonder that Nicole is right because I haven’t seen Knight for quite some time maybe he travelled,
“I don’t really know Nicole, maybe”, I replied to Nicole in a nonchalant manner, as I watched her enter the bathroom to shower, I decided to go make breakfast for us and decided to toast some bread with coffee maybe Mr Knight travel like Nicole said as I haven’t seen him, ‘why am I thinking of him ‘I mean I don’t care if I don’t see him, I don’t care if he comes to the mall or not! so why am I bothered? Whatever!, though I couldn’t stop thinking””,
“Lori did I tell you Mr. Knight has frequented the mall since you started working there”, Nicole interrupted my thoughts as she entered the kitchen and she ambled herself with a towel,
“Maybe or I think he likes you”, she continued still drying her short hair,
“Maybe you go get ready for work or I’m gonna give you a query”!, I snapped at her as I giggled making her to start giggling at me and rushing to get herself ready,
“Breakfast is ready”, I screamed at Nicole who was getting ready,
Finishing my breakfast while leaving hers on the table for her,
“You can go take your breakfast”, I said to Nicole who was touching her makeup, I strolled to quickly wear my short deep blue skirt and a matching turtleneck white top, I looked at the mirror to admire myself, applying some touches of makeup,
“No wonder Mr. knight likes you already”, Nicole said to me casually while looking at me as she sauntered to eat her breakfast,
“You are pretty girlfriend”, she said loud hearing her chuckling while eating her food,
Well, Nicole can say whatever she likes, I’m just admiring myself in the mirror while waiting for to finish eating so that we can leave, all I know is that Mr Knight is a damn playboy! a handsome one and he doesn’t smile! except when he softened his face when he asked me to take off my clothes,
I strolled out after admiring myself, Nicole was done with the food already,
“Pretty Lori”, Nicole said to while doing the dishes,
“What was that”?, Nicole asked me as she heard some gunshots, I heard that before but it stopped for some time and now it started again, I already know my area isn’t so good though I’m just waiting for my salary to rent a new apartment for myself,
“It’s bad boys in this area girl, I’m gonna pack out soon”, I replied to Nicole as we rushed off.
Calling a cab to take us to the mall, my phone kept beeping and it was Mr. George,
“Sir I will be in the mall soon”, I said to him before ending the call.
Entering the mall which is always busy, people picking things they wanted and I kept on drawing some attention of especially males, making me think as if I was naked because most of them kept on undressing me with their eyes,
“Hello Mr George”, I greeted the manager who nodded his head at me, he was with one of the customers and I’m sure he must be a VIP because he looked rather rich, I think he was looking at me but I left them, and
I headed to my office as Nicole had already gone to her section,
I was busy with my computer checking records for quite some hours,
“Hey Lori”, I heard the voice of my manager who was accompanied by the man I saw with him earlier,
“Hello pretty”, the man said to me as I saw my manager leave, its obvious Mr George brought him to see me, looking at the man clearly he should be in his early forties and he looked exactly like a womaniser because he was undressing me with his eyes gush! “I’m Smith”, he continued bringing out his hand for a handshake as he kissed mine,
“I’m Lori”, I replied to him removing my hand from him gently,
“You are pretty Lori”, he added, “so damn pretty”, he added while biting his lips seductively, Wtf!,
“Thank you, smith, so what can I do for you”, I asked him with my hands akimbo as I was already tired of this womaniser standing in front of me,
“Will you be free maybe later this evening, we can go have some fun”, he responded while bringing out his phone for my number which I gave to him because I wanted him to leave ASAP, “I will talk to you later”, he said to me before he left making me to get back to work,
I decided after some time to go answer Mr George who told me to come just to see the so-called Smith who some of the workers were flirting with and he’s kind of enjoying it, I know he’s a man whore already,
Mr George just wanna know how I’m seeing my work ‘he’s such a nice man,
“You should go for a break, you looked really tired”, he said to me and he’s really right, thinking about renting a new apartment is making me tired, I have lots of things to do in my head, stuff that requires money,
I was drinking some energy smoothie before Nicole came over to join me with a scornful look,
“Hey girl, why the look”?, I asked Nicole who was telling me about one of the workers,
“Lori she’s such a bitch!, all she does is to throw herself at Mr. Knight whenever he comes”, Nicole continued making me to start giggling, “hey Lori it’s not funny!, can you believe she says Mr. Knight asked her out”, she added making me chuckle, “oh whatever”, she added as she left me at the cafeteria and walked away making me to start laughing gently, Nicole is so funny and I don’t know why she lets unnecessary things to bother her lol. I think I know the girl she’s talking about the red hair girl ‘I can still remember how she always flirted in front of Mr. Knight whenever he came around, every girl does that too but hers is different and it made me think because Mr. Knight doesn’t even notice her, well whatever she can continue flirting for all I care,
“So Lori I just wanna take some pizza”, Nicole who sauntered back to the cafeteria said to me with a more relaxed face maybe she had picked a quarrel with the girl,
“I think you should stop allowing certain stuff to bother you”, I said to Nicole who was already eating her pizza as I took a chunk “I mean it doesn’t worth it girl”, I continued as I continued chewing the pizza, “really tasted”, I added as she nodded her head, I don’t wanna order again because I don’t wanna gain excess weight already my hips and boobs are in the right proportion. All we have to do is to enjoy our large pizza.
